RUN FAR AWAY! My husband and I drove 2 hours to come to the dealership. I was very excited, I had been searching for months and saving for 6 years to purchase my new car. I was working with Alex, the Internet manager, he assured me the car I was looking for was available and he would have it waiting for me at 1:00. I then received 5 calls from other sales people confirming the appointment at 1:00. We arrived at 12:45. (Less than 30 mins after speaking with everyone confirming the availability of the car.) We arrived to be told the car we drove 2 hours to buy was no longer available, apparently another couple had 'just walked in the door' and was trying to buy it. I understand you are in the business of selling cars to whomever walks in the door. However, it would have been nice to know there were other people looking at the car before we drove 2 HOURS to come to your dealership AND receiving multiple confirmations that the car was ready for us. The DISREGARD and DISRESPECT for our time and business was loud and clear. I now know why Clay Cooley has the worst reputation in DFW. Your sales associate did try to offer to sell me 'all of the other fabulous' cars on your lot. I didn't drive 2 hours to see other cars. And I doubt many of the other customers do either. I'm sorry I wasn't able to leave positive feedback from my experience at your dealership however, I had an amazing buying experience down the road with HILEY MAZDA- best people ever, the car I purchased 20 mins later from a welcoming and helpful sales associate, who did have the car I was looking for pulled up to the front door and waiting for us. I hope this helps other customers make a decision where to spend their hard earned money when they are purchasing a car. read more

I would not recommend this location. Thought financing was done. Had car for 3 weeks and the sales person Anthony called on a Friday evening at 8:30 telling me i needed to bring it back because financing didn't go through, which i was glad it didn't, because it was Exeter Finance which has bad reviews on the BBB. I asked how did it take 3 weeks to find that out. Was very rude, no apology and kept sending threatening emails. I have a part time job, so it was a inconvenience to just get in the car and go way to Irving at the drop of a hat. And to top it off he thought he was keeping my 1000.00 down payment! These guys are a joke. I called early in the day and told the salesman I had a deal on a car with another dealership but wanted to see if they could match it on a car they had online. I explained if they couldn't I didn't want to waste my time or theirs. After 6 hours and emailing them all the docs they asked for I got a call "we can do it, come on down" so I drove over. I waited for 4 hours while they put it together. Mr Lopez (sales manager) comes out with the terms. They marked the vehicle up $3000 over the posted price and raised the interest by 3 points. I went off, telling them they were crazy. So they dropped the $3000 but they paymen stayed the same. I go to leave, get in my car and they call my cell asking me to come back in. I walk back in and stand there for 5 minutes but nobody comes over. So I walk back out and get in my truck. Then the salesman and finance guy run out the door to my truck. I get out and he tells me he will drop the payment $6 a month. Are you kidding me? I drove 60 miles to get this offer? I told them on the phone exactly what the deal HAD to be. He tells me that they are sorry but they just can't do it. What a crappy place. I worked in the dealership industry for 13 years so I'm educated on the process. These guys are criminal! I even told him I was aware he could legally raise the interest rate above what the bank quotes and he admits that yes he can raise it by 2% by law to make more profit. My lord people stay away from Clay Cooley unless you just like being financially raped. read more

The only reason they're getting 2 stars is because of Roland Lynn. He was great. If it weren't for him, they'd get one star. The sticker price on the car was cheaper than anyone else in the DFW area, but that was about it. I didn't feel appreciated. I also felt like I got screwed in the end. I had to wait for a long time after the monthly note was agreed upon before I made it to finance. Even though their is major construction going on, they didn't wash my car. I was stuck with having to literally BUFF the embedded dust out. You couldn't simply wash it out. You would think they would do a little something to make their customers feel appreciated besides fill up the tank, like maybe a car care kit, maybe include oil changes and tire rotations for a few years, or BOTH (like Vandergriff did) but I didn't even get matching key chains (like Vandergriff gave me). I felt like I was "lucky" to get a car with Clay Cooley.. With Vandergriff, they made me feel appreciated for doing business with them. read more

Will never buy from them again. My sister purchased a used car and the salesman never disclosed that the car had been in a wreck. She purchased a 2015 Lexus IS350 and was under the impression that the car was in excellent condition considering it was used. Well, I took my car to be appraised thinking I may trade it in and was told there had been damage to the right hand side of the car. Went in for selection and thought since it's a very large dealership, all would be done and easy. They wasted a good part of my day off only to come back with different terms than what we discussed. I had shopped other places and could have gotten things all squared away and been done. However you see the advertising by Clay Cooley - so I thought I would shop Clay. It was a total disappointment. I would try other dealerships. There are plenty in the area and I'm sure you can find one that will treat you fairly with less fees and frustration. I purchased a vehicle elsewhere and my customer service experience was night and day different. It's scary how many people buy cars at Clay Cooley because the haggling alone is a little tiresome. All the cliche issues people have with car dealerships are very much a part of the experience at Cooley. If you enjoy going back and forth only to be presented high costs and fees that are outrageously higher than what i paid at another dealership. When i say much higher - we are talking $1800 higher at Cooley than what i paid on my vehicle purchase. I hope this information is helpful because I wish someone would have told me about this dealership so i wouldn't have wasted my time. read more

Where do I start...Let's just say a good lesson learned for young, young adults. I went in to trade my 2003 Chevy Silverado and to get a 2014 Chevy, the sales man was extremely nice on the phone and informed me that everything was going to work out and he would not screw us. We told the sales man EXACTLY what we wanted in a TRUCK (5.3L 4x4 crew cab) which we told him multiple times. He then said I have the perfect truck, pulled it up to us and we test drove it. It was dark and we failed to check the motor, but whenever we were in about to go over financing he told us multiple times it was 5.3 L and not to worry. Whenever we were speaking about our warranty they suddenly tried to take the bumper to bumper away and say they never told us, whenever I stood up to leave they SUDDENLY remembered they said that and gave it to us. The Sales man also promised us that he would have the windows tinted for us and a trailer hitch receiver put on the following SATURDAY at 10AM The following day we were messing with the buttons trying to learn everything and it scrolled across the screen it was a V6. So we drove back up to the dealership and went to our sales guy and whenever we did he said "i am so sorry, I did not realize it was a 4.3L, let me get someone to help yall right away!" (AND THE CONTRACT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THE MOTOR EITHER) HE then went to the manager and then the manager came out (OR WHO WE THOUGHT WAS A MANAGER) he basically told us there was not anything they could do for us, and we were going to lose the money on the truck because we could not get our down payment back from the truck we traded in and get a new one. I said "well the sales man said he did not even know it was a 4.3L and he said," "he told me he did tell yall it was a 4.3L, so you guys knew before you signed the contract" (SO THE SALES MAN LIED TO SAVE HIS BUTT) I asked to speak to the GM and they told me he was gone for the day and I could not speak to him. After that being the young woman I am I called my father (BECAUSE I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO), he then called up to the dealership and requested to talk to the GM of the place. Well come to find out the sales manager and the GM have almost the same exact name and they are brothers. So the Sales Manager (THE BROTHER) decided it would be funny to get on the phone and pretend to be the GM. (THERE IS A GLASS WINDOW WHERE I WAS WATCHING ALL OF THIS HAPPEN) and they were all laughing about it saying they would call back and try to help. (AS I AM SITTING IN THE BUILDING) they would continue to stand there and then whenever my dad would call back they would tell him they tried and there was not anything they would do. We waited for 4 hours (BY THE WAY AFTER THE FIRST hour NO ONE SPOKE TO ME TO TRY TO HELP)n and then left. the following day we decided there was not anything we could do, so we called to see if we could still get the receiver hitch and the tinted windows and the salesman said he would have to call us back because he did not think he could have it done anymore, after we started to get mad he said "well I will call you back at first thing Saturday morning" (FRIDAY NIGHT 4PM) The following morning (SAT MORNING AT 10am.) we called and he said he would call back because he still did not know, called again at 1pm he said he would call back he did not know, called again at 6pm said he would call back before the day was over..... NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL, Called Monday 10am and he said he would call back between 12:30-1:30 NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL, so we called again at 3pm and the salesman said he could tint the windows but we would have to pay $400 for the trailer hitch receiver and that he never said he was going to have it done for free. (SO HE LIED AGAIN) PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE, IT WAS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY, ONCE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT THEY NO LONGER CARE ABOUT YOU, I REGRET EVER GOING THERE. This is my first ever Yelp review. Never thought I would have to do this. Bought our car here 8 months ago. And was told we would get a copy of our contract the next day when we would return to drop off a copy of the insurance. No copy of contract when we returned. Called a week later and was told it would be mailed out. Waited and still no contract. Came in for the first service went to reception and was given the run around again about getting a copy of our contract. 8 months later came back for the second service asked again the receptionist for a copy of the contract. She called over the intercom for finance to assist us. Now I've been sitting here waiting for 30 mins and still no one from finance has come out. Worst Customer Service EVER seriously people stay away. They don't deserve your business. Never thought something would be so bad to where I have to write a review. But I guess I had to "come see clay". All they care about is getting your money and getting you out the door. read more

Ok here we go. A few weeks ago I found a modestly priced vehicle online that I wanted to check out, I contacted the dealership, it was at a different Clay Cooley location. I was contacted by a salesperson about the car and asked to come to this location to test drive the vehicle. I agreed and made an appointment. I emailed my contact at the dealership to ensure that the vehicle I was interested in would be at the location I was going to (Chevrolet Galleria). They assured me that it would and they'd have it cleaned up and ready to go. Just to be safe I called again just before leaving to make sure it was there. They assured me it was. It wasn't there. I said I still wanted to see it and the sales person asked if my girlfriend and I wanted to go with her to the other location to look at it (40 minutes away and leaving my car at the galleria location). I said no, I'd rather that they go get it as I was assured multiple times that it would be there. In the mean time I asked to see any similar vehicles that were on the property. I was shown one vehicle that I was not interested in and it was $10,000 more than the one I had requested to test drive. After waiting for a very long time and being shown no additional vehicles, my salesperson finally left to go get the vehicle from the other location. While waiting the hour and a half for her to return I requested to be shown other cars on two separate occasions. Both times I was told someone would be with me shortly. Both times no one showed up and I was never shown any other cars. When the vehicle I was interested in finally arrived, it was in less that satisfactory condition (a lot of rust for a 2 year old vehicle) and hadn't even been cleaned. It was a pickup truck and the flat bed had a very noticeable layer of dirt in it. It was as though the car had just been parked in a back lot somewhere for quite some time. I expressed my concern about the amount of rust on the vehicle and under the hood and the employees at the dealership kept insisting it was fine and safe and tried to get me to drive off with the car for a few days to see if I liked it. I continued saying no because I didn't want to have to deal with driving it back to their dealership or anything when I already knew I wasn't satisfied with its condition. I asked that they take the vehicle to Toyota (it was a Toyota Tacoma) and have them do a presale inspection and I asked that that information be sent to me before I would agree to paying the amount they priced the vehicle at. They agreed. This never happened. I texted my contact the following Monday for an update and was told that the car had been inspected by Toyota and required $350 dollars worth of repairs. I asked the for the report I had requested and did not receive it. I continued requesting this report for several days to no avail. I called the dealership and asked to speak to the direct supervisor of the person I had been speaking to about the car. He told me he would get me the requested report in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later my contact texted me (after not responding for several days) saying that she had sent the car back to the original Clay Cooley dealership with the information I wanted inside and that she would track it down. I asked later that day and the next morning if there was any update on the situation. There was not. I gave up. The day before yesterday I received a text message from the dealership asking me to come in again and also questioning why they didn't earn my business and what they could do to rectify that. I responded to the text message expressing my dissatisfaction and I included my email address in case someone finally felt like addressing any of the issues I mentioned above. No response. In short, if I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. Absolutely no person who worked for or with this dealership was of any assistance whatsoever excepting maybe the nice receptionist who let me have a bottle of water while waiting for the truck to arrive. I felt disrespected, overlooked and entirely baffled not only by the ability of the dealership and its employees to waste MY time but also their own. If anyone from Clay Cooley reads this and doesn't agree or believes this is hyperbole I have the emails, text chains and names to back this up. read more

Stay away from all Clay Cooley dealers! These grifters scam and rip off the consumer with bait-and-switch tactics and price gouging. I went in this week to buy a used car. It was listed on the website as $12,995 + TTL. After spending an hour getting there and test driving it, I finally sat down to discuss pricing and details. It was during this time that they told me that I would be required to buy a "cleaning & protection package" for an extra $3,000 or they would not sell me the car. This brought the price of the car to $16,000 + TTL. First off, this "package" is NOT optional...whether you want it or not, you will end up paying for it, or they will refuse to sell you the car. Secondly, it is not disclosed on the website except for tiny fine print at the bottom. After I was adamant I didn't want it, the manager told me that he would remove the package, but he would under no circumstances sell me the car for under $16K +TTL. Basically, these con artists advertise one price on the website, and then refuse to sell it to you for that price once you go in and waste your time. What pisses me off is that instead of just honestly advertising the higher price on the website, they pull these shady tactics to lure you in and increase the price out of nowhere. I would've bought the car if the price was honestly advertised, since it was still a good deal, but couldn't on principle alone. To add insult to the injury, the manager tried to pass off the protection package fees as "part of the taxes you must pay no matter what" when this isn't the case, and they are an extra surcharge that no other dealer, let alone the government requires. read more

DON'T PAY THE ADDENDUM FEE & RUN from Terrell Turner. I had such a bad experience at this slimey dealership. They prey on uneducated consumers and have horrible customer service. They post cars online for low prices, not telling you that they are going to add in a 2-3K dealer addendum fee(AKA "Dealer Adds). They'll tell you some BS about it being for Nitrogen Tires, Sketching etc, but it's really just pure PROFIT. You DO NOT have to pay it even though they will try to convince you that you do. The sales people will start off nice, but if you dare challenge them on that dealer addendum and other "Fluff" fees, they'll turn on you. The sales guy Terrell actually got loud and yelled at me because I didn't want to pay extra fees to pad their wallets. This was reported to the Assistant Sales Manager who admitted that Terrell was wrong and promised that a district manager would call about the situation. No one ever followed up. As long as people keep letting them make thousands in unnecessary fees, They really don't care. read more

Liars and cheats Here we go......10AM Saturday Morning I inquire about an Avenger. I am at work so I am primarily negotiating through e-mail and text. After talking for a few hours it becomes clear that we are a thousand away from each other on price, so I say "Thank you and have a good day". I receive a phone call from the sales girl and she tells me "My general manager is not going to lose a sale today over a thousand dollars because we are trying to hit a number tonight." .......I let them know I just worked 16 hours and have another 12 to work in 8 hours but they convince me to find a babysitter again and my wife and I head down because of the deal for that day......it's an hour from my place by the way which is why I wanted to make sure if I liked the car we were all good on the price. So we get there and we are immediately given the price I denied earlier that day. Sales Manager was rood and we say thanks and go to leave. Then the sales girl says, "that manager doesn't count, let me get the one who said we can work a deal." So I'm all like "sweet, ok". He comes (after about 25 minutes) and gives me the same price as there best price that I've denied 4 times already, so we go to leave. Then he asked if we wanted to see the Avenger s he can do at our price, so I say ok why not. Another 30 minutes goes by and they pull up, we love the look and I say this is like the same car we wanted almost exactly, so we test drive and love it. We get back and I say we will take. We get back in and they take about 30 minutes to come out and the give me the same price! Then I say let me see the carfax on this one. I look, it was the same exact car I had been negotiating all day! These guys lied right to my face then tried to trick me into thinking I was negotiating on a different car even though the only reason we stayed was because they said they will do this one at our price! So we leave. They got me, they played me. And I get they have tactics but to flat out lie is unprofessional, I have purchased a few cars in my time and was never treated like an idiot so bad. Oh it gets worse! So, two days pass I let the anger go away and then I see this program to trade in old cars for a voucher if the dealer participates. I still want the car so I ask if they accept the vouchers and they say they can do it now! (Because the program gets funds in January so I was just going to wait) So I say really? Ok, so the offer is 3,000 on the trade in and I was willing to just take 2,000 from the dealership and we would be at my number. They agree. So I make them tell me 100% it is all good, we all agree I speak to multiple employees and they are perfectly fine with the deal. I call to verify one last time before I head down, they say "all good just waiting on you" We go down and it's sketchy right from the start. They say they thought I would finance with them even though they knew I already had the money (so basically, they were trying to get me on the back end) plus they up ed the price of the car, so they end up giving me the same price I've been saying no to all week, but now they want my car too! So I call them all out and they cycle through 5 people moving numbers around trying to trick me, when it always added up to the same number I have been saying no to. I asked them why they kept straight up lieing and I always said it was cool if they couldn't do it, just let me know before I drive down. To end it. They hold my keys and try to keep me there. I firmly asked for my keys back 5 times before they gave them. Then they try to throw in a $50 certificate to movie grill to counter balance trying to take my car, charge me 3,000 more then I agreeed. ( even after I offered to toss in another 1,000 just to end the deal) I don't think they like to sell their cars. I felt with 6 different employees there and they all straight lied to my face over and over and over and over again. CLAY COOLEY is dishonest, they have no integrity, they will lie and try to secretly rob you. STAY FAR FAR AWAY! read more

If you can't make them cry, they won't give you a better deal. The finance manger was very rude. He does not care about the customers will and acts over smart. My car was damaged multiple times when in for service and they will do nothing to resolve the issue. I was referred to them by my boss. We went and the sales manager at the time, Justin, was great. He went out of his way to help us. When we purchased the car I asked to get the windows tinted. When I went to pick the car up the tint job looked like a 2 year old did it. Justin was quick to send my car to an outside company to have it redone. My car had to go in for a recall on the s/c for the buttons not working. Well it was in 3 times for the same issue and on the third time they said the relay was bad so they replaced it. That resolved that issue BUT I have had nothing but issues since. My a/c doesn't work well at all. My car had to go in the service several other times for small warranty work and on MULTIPLE occasions the service department damaged my car. They scratched the back bumper when replacing the emblem then when they did a courtesy wash one time they must have had something in the rag they used as it scratched my paint all over the car. The service manager , Shane has been great through it all though. I had to take my car in 3 times to have an outside company come in to do a glaze coat on it to eliminate the scratches. It didn't get rid of them all but I was just tired of dealing with it. Well this last time it went in for a/c work again ( which they cannot figure the issue out ) I picked it up covered in sap which we still cannot get off parts of the car but it had multiple scratched all the way through the paint on the drivers side. I contacted them and they basically told me too bad. I couldn't get the new sales manager to EVER call me back so I took a day of vacation from work one day and shoed up. I spent 4 hours there that day. When I talked to him he basically blew me off and acted like I was stupid. They made it out like they would get me into another car. Ok great I thought. Yeah NOT. They wanted me to be over 10,000 upside down. My car is only 8 months old and the ONLY reason I want in something else is because their dealership damaged it and wont do anything to make it right. I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone unless you want to get screwed. I also tried to set an appointment with Clay so we could let him know what happened throughout the 12 + visits my car made and the new GM Chad, told me Clay was too busy and he suggest I take my car to another dealership. Took it for service, and it was serviced but took 3 days. They called on the second morning and said it would be finished at 6:00. I called at 5:57 and Cody said it was the wrong part. I asked why did you not call me back after the 10:00am call. I was ready with a friend to go pickup the car. I can't imagine how much madder I would have been if I didn't call. From the used car salesman, to the title team, to the sales manager, and the entire customer support team... be prepared to deal with ineptitude, lack of communication, misplaced information, busted deadlines and an overall lack of either honesty or a complete lack of job knowledge (I'm guessing ineptitude since I would hope the days of the lying used car salesman are behind us). Take your business elsewhere. expect the finance department to not file your payment information in a timely manner (yes, my bank called me to tell me I had not yet paid for the truck since the finance department failed to contact my bank per the loan information). Be prepared to submit proof of insurance multiple times (yes, Augustine failed to send it to his team, who could not deliver the vehicle when agreed upon). Be prepared to have your temp plates expire while waiting for Guila to process your title paperwork (yes, I called 10 days prior to the expiration, she assured me it would be extended... she did not do her job). Be prepared to negotiate one final price with Augustine and later find out that due to shifty language, there was no intent to be accountable to the agreement and N/A in the Title fee only meant that it was N/A for the Clay Cooley team to be accountable for their verbal agreements. Be prepared to call and text Augustine for weeks while trying to resolve your own issues, so that You can have current temp plates to keep you legal on the road. Be prepared to talk with the pre-owned director William Harris who will not help with your concerns (instead, he will take an attitude with you, claim the dealership manager is not in (he was) and hang up the phone on you mid sentence. Be prepared to elevate your concerns with Mr. Ken Sink whose very political tone yielded no more than a reference back the the original source of my problems, the sales representative Augustine Gomez. Be prepared to express your concerns with the online corporate assistance team when you feel all is lost. Be prepared for this team to stop responding to you when you ask for their ethical interpretation on the behavior of the used car salesman. You can be prepared for this, or you can do the smart thing and take your business elsewhere. I am an active duty US Air Force Officer who returned from an overseas assignment and had no car. Worst experience I've ever had with a service dept. Was promised pickup of car multiple times and each time I wouldn't ready. Very poor communication and I truly felt like we were being lied to as much as the story changed. Left several messages for the service manager and never got a return call. Sounds like the leadership is poor. If I can prevent it, I will never bring my car here and will NEVER buy another car from them. Car only has 60,000 and both front windows have gone out, water pump X2 and the AC. Terrible car. Worst service. read more

I had my son go to Clay Cooley Chevrolet because he found a car that they had. They low balled him in his trade then came back with what he wanted for his trade but then added $2,292.00 in extras that the car mysteriously had on it. I'd not only forget that Clay Cooley Chevrolet existed but run from any deal that they think that there giving you because it's a LIE!!!! I tried for over 2 hours to reach a manager but no one could help me out..... I'd say this was the worst car buying experience that I'm glad didn't happen.... 3 stars....The Customer Service was okay I guess, but the missing two stars comes from the fact that I didn't feel I had much of a choice when choosing to buy a car from here. The back and forth process all in one night seemed to be a bit overwhelming after a while. This is my first time buying a car so I've been cautioned by all of my relatives not to just jump at the first deal that sounds good. They were prepared to let me drive away in a car with no money down. The problem is I don't have all that great credit of course that's normal for someone my age as I am still in the process of getting established. I test drove and loved VERY much a 2015 Chevy Cruze however because I've read that the car has had over 5,000 recalls thanks to electrical problems and a gang of other mechanical issues I am no longer interested in this car. I had to wait for over 20 minutes just to see someone who scheduled me with for an appointment and that there should have been enough to make me walk out and never look back but I decided to give them a try at least because I understand how hectic a typical busy day at work can be...No worries there and that's why they got 3 stars. I would have given 5 stars but first you failed to tell me what I needed to bring in order to even take the car, so I feel like I wasted a Friday night when I could have been treating myself to a cocktail or something. The next morning I got like 4 different calls stating that they could get me approved for insurance with no money down for $200/mo with state farm...Uhhh problem with that is, I used to work for state farm...There's no way they're going to insure a first time driver UNDER 25 and a female at that for just $200.00 a month.....For someone like me, they want AT LEAST $495 upfront for a 6 months premium and that's just with liability, comprehensive and collision alone each with a $500 deductible. Lying to get a sale huh? That never seemed wise to me. I loved the customer service I received, so I will not act like this was a bad experience for me but this showed me just how aggressive car salesmen can be when trying to get their sales..It seemed like a sweet deal they were offering me, but I just know that this was going to be something I regretted when it was all said and done and I've signed on the dotted line not even realizing that there's fine print. That even though you are SAYING I can give you a blank check for the down payment and you'll cash it when I get my refund or within 45 days you're not telling me that first months payment probably about $350 will be deducted from my account as well...You're not telling me that part, that this insurance would only be valid if I could go to state farm with a valid drivers license and pay a deposit of $150.00 and everything else outlined in the fine print. If my father wasn't a former car salesmen, I'd be screwed....Thankfully I could call on him when things just didn't sound right about this whole deal...And my payments would have been sky high...You wanted me to pay $500/month for a car that has had thousands of recalls? Not happenin'!! So to the salesmen at Clay Cooley....I wanna say, for the experience, thanks but as far as getting a car...I'm going to keep looking. read more

horrible!! Just went there last night and tried to buy a car. Told them we had cash to pay and did not want to finance. Bradley said "I loooove cash" and acted like we were going to get a great deal. We picked out two cars and neither one was the first one they showed us. Why? Strange. So they showed us a pretty nice Altima similar to the one I picked out on the lot, it ended up being more expensive. Still don't k ow why I couldn't be shown the one I picked out on the lot. Tried desperately to get me in that car but I said no too much. Bring me the second car I picked out....49 minutes later our sales guy...Leon Suggs or something like that....was nowhere in sight. It was only then when my husband summoned Bradley that he came out 10 minutes later and told me they could not negotiate on the second car I picked. Even with some cosmetic damage that he blew off and didn't give two shits about, still no negotiation. My husband threw down $10k and said give me that car for $10k all inclusive(car was priced at 11k) and they both laughed at us and said no deal. My husband and I walked out floored. Complete asshole that Bradley. I have never had suck a horrible experience in my life. Went to Carmax later and buying a nice Kia Optima today. Clay Cooley sucks!!! read more

I original purchase my car from the Clay Cooley in Dallas in January 2017. A belt came off a few months ago and I used their towing service and had it towed to that service department. Within 48 hours I received a call advising that the belt came off and what it would cost to get it fix. When it was completed they called me and I went and got my car. No problems. Well last Tuesday (7/31/18) my car started running hot. I went by an Auto Zone and was told what the issue was however I was thinking it may be best if I have the car towed to Clay Cooley so they can run some test and tell me exactly what the problem was. Well I called Clay Cooley Chevrolet in Irving and spoke with a lady by the name of Rachel. She advise me that since my car was finance through them (AS IS Car) then she can have my car towed for free and have a diagnostic test completed for free the only thing was the car would have to towed to Irving. I was fine with that because I worked in Irving. Well that was the BIGGEST mistake I made. I talked to her roughly around 10am last Wednesday morning (8/1/2018). My car was not picked up until Thursday morning (8/2/2018) and here it is Tuesday (8/7/2018) and I still has not got my car back. I have been calling and calling and getting the run around. I have been transferred and transferred from voicemail to voicemail. I had been lied to and told that they are behind and that someone will call me. As of yesterday my car was still just setting up. I spoke with Rachel today and was advise that there are 5 cars ahead of mines and hopefully within a hour or so she would be able to call me back with pricing and etc. What pisses me off is if they were this far behind they should had told me instead of giving me the run around. I am also piss because whenever they do fix it they are going to expecting their money before I can get my car and when the 20th roll around (payment due date) they are going to be looking for their payment. I have asked to speak to managers and nothing. This is the most stressful situation I can say I have encounter so far this year. I am a mother of 3 being without a car when having a car that I am paying on should be the least of worries. I should had my car towed to the one in Dallas like I did before or had someone that works on cars come fix my car. I am very upset and would not recommend a rat to do business with this car lot.
