They reply almost instantly via Yelp, they quoted me exactly what they said they would, they are very friendly in their correspondence, and more importantly, my wife was happy! She did have a little issue finding the place (maybe a big sign out front would help ?) but in a way, that is a good thing for those of us that know about them now. It keeps them from being too busy to serve :) She called me when she was done and said "They are Fast, Efficient, and Friendly" She could not believe they charged her exactly what they said they would, had the car done in minutes (not joking or exaggerating here) and she was on her way. Bait and Switch. Go there based on others getting coupons, and to be honest 40 seems like a decent price for a smog. Upon arrival, he told me price was 55, but he begrudgingly lowered price to 40. My car unfortunately did not pass due to sensor issue. I asked about retest, and he said it would be 35 to retest. So its going to cost more than original to retest?? Im a mechanic i installed my catalytic converter myself i know the California compliant one i need came here to smog they said it was not the correct one i asked if he could please check again i will show him were the stamped codes are as he claim they were not there... This place seems really shady. I started the process of getting my car smog and once I mentioned that I was using a Groupon his demeanor changed. The mechanic by the name of Oscar said that the Groupon is only good for cars newer then 2000. I pulled up the Groupon to show him that this was not the case. Once I showed him that the coupon is valid for vehicles older then 2000 it's just an extra $10 fee. He acted shock and said "They put that in there!??". I felt like he knew that already but was trying to get me to pay full price. That's when I checked to see if this Groupon is new and he may not have known but this Groupon has been up long enough to get 123 ratings so it's hard to believe that this is new to him. Not only that but I noticed a previous coupon that also mentioned the same thing when it comes to vehicle older then 2000. I almost felt the need to leave after that but I was in need to get this done that day. Also I knew he was not new because there was a picture of him with his certification on the wall. Went there for a smog for my Honda and it failed for catalist monitor not ready, no big deal. This was around 1pm. Went and drove the car for half an hour and got the monitor to set came back and they closed 40 minutes early (1:50pm). I chose this shop because of the Saturday hours as I needed a smog to get my car ready to sell by Sunday. Now I have to wait till monday costing me time and money. Call ahead when going there to make sure they are open as to they don't stick to posted open hours. read more

I saw an AD in FB that they do smog check for 29.99 I want to see if it was true. When I first pulled up I wasn't sure if I wanted to or not because it is a small place and no customers. Usually on a Saturday they should be packed as I thought. So I was skeptical about it. But I decide to give them a try. I don't recall his name, but he had me in and out within 10 mins and it passed! He was nice let him know that I found them in FB. Meanwhile he was working on my car that's when people started showing up.
