BEWARE!! these people scratched my brand new shower trims! Update 2: The owner initially agreed to pay for the damaged trims and simply backed out! do not trust these guys. Requested for a deep clean of 3 bed 2 bath home approximately 1600 sq ft. I was told cleaning would take about 2 hours but the ladies finished in 1.5 hours. They did dust, clean, mop but a lot of areas dust remained as is. Windows were wiped. My main concern was bathroom- faucets and shower doors having hard water marks and they were not cleaned. The reason i got was that they have been using this solution for a long time and it won't go. that's not the reason a deep cleaning service would give that they cannot remove hard water marks in the bathroom. I wouldn't call this a deep clean - this is really more of a regular cleaning. don't get fooled by the name. . this is not value for money Update1: they came to clean the water marks, only to scratch the brand new shower trims. these people just don't know how to clean a simple thing like hard water marks! read more

I've used clean break's service 5 times and the first few times were good but I noticed that there were some areas missed and not cleaned as thoroughly the last 2 times. They showed up late 4/5 times I've booked with them (usually 15-20 minutes behind schedule). This last time they ended up breaking a piece of our bidet and leaving it in our sink without letting us know. We had to replace the entire bidet and when I notified them, they didn't take accountability and said it was already broken to start with. I asked if they can cover the cost of the new bidet ($40) and they said they'd send it but ghosted me. Their cleaning service is decent but they lack good customer service and time management. read more

Most disappointing cleaning crew I have ever hired. 1. Not on time. Scheduled 9:00 am. Delayed to 9:30. Arrived at 9:50. 2. Show minimum cleaning desire and effort. Started at 9:50 and ended at 11:30. Not too much work indeed considering this is a new construction and has never been used. Yet they surprised me with very low quality work and leaving many places not cleaned, including but not limited to: closet, cabinets, window bottoms, etc. I have to ask them to do it again and again. At the end I am tired of it and just let them go. 3. Unprofessional. It is so unfortunate that they lack of the cleaning tools. For example, they do not have a proper vacuum to suck the dust out of the window bottoms. They cannot help clean the glues in the new appliances and cabinets. So on and so forth. 4. Communication difficulties. I literally told them not to throw away the stickers on window, which will be used for inspections. I ended up digging into the trash bin for them. read more

I had an 830am appointment. I texted confirming before 8am. no response. Ghosted. An HOUR later I get a text that they're running late from a previous cleaning. Sparse replies when I ask if they're still coming. At 1.5 hrs they claim they can come still. This is absurd, it's 10 seconds to tell me you're running late. We had to hire someone else because we don't have time to wait around but also it just screams unreliable when you don't reply for an hour. they offered to do the job still but I don't trust them to show up to that on time. When I called her, she told me she was confused and had another appointment booked. When we rescheduled for next day , she gave me a random reason saying she left San Jose ! WTH ? I requested my home be cleaned: clean the oven, wash the stove, clean the toilets, make the beds, clean the showers and tubs, vacuum, clean counters and mop. They said since it was the first cleaning with them they would also clean all the blinds and wash the interior windows. They were very rushed and missed some things. They didn't vacuum the master closet, the kids rooms (2), nor the downstairs guest room and hall ways. They mopped the hallway that was not vacuumed which resulted in dirt spots and accumulated dirt in the corners. They left sticky spots (I have kids) on my kitchen island. The interior windows were not cleaned. Did a subpar job in making the beds, they look like someone slept on top of the comforters. They threw out all the garbages but failed to replace the garbage bags. I do like that they cleaned all the base boards. They did a great job on the stovetop. They cleaned the cupboards exterior. They washed the dirty dishes. They did a good job with the bathrooms, as well. read more

I contacted them for a move out cleaning about a week prior, and was told that they had an opening on a Sunday. I didn't get any follow up the night prior nor the day of, and when they were already 15 mins late without any communication with me, I asked them what the eta was. Apparently a worker was injured the day prior so they couldn't make the appointment. My issue with them isn't that their staff was injured as this cannot be controlled obviously, but there was absolutely no communication--I had to drive over an hour to my old apartment to wait for the cleaning, just to find out that they cannot do it AFTER I reached out to them. We took them in for cleaning on June 22'23. and I wish they did a better job, it looked like a regular cleaning to me and I had to always assist them in where to clean. I was almost going around the house, checking the places they've cleaned asked them to redo it because I could still see the dust. My Kitchen space on floor is almost the same like how I generally do it. Theyre are still marks on the floor where you can see it on the pics. They're responsive, definitely understanding I guess. Clean Break is just ok for the price. But I wouldn't probably look else where before I give them another try. I needed to have my condo cleaned because my previous renter didn't have time to clean. I used Yelp project and received several quote. I selected Clean Break bc Samy was responsive and quoted a decent price of $150 flat fee for 2 hrs. I schedule a time of 9am at Samy's request. When I showed up at the condo in north San Jose, but she was not there. I texted her for an ETA and she did not respond until 9:30am saying she is finishing a job in Gilroy. Mind you I took time from work to meet her so I was irritated. I asked when does she expect to get here and she texted 10:15 am. I then told her to please text me when she is 15minutes away from the condo bc that is how long it'll take me to get back. I went back to the office and she texted me at 10 am. I went back and met up with her and her helper in the parking lot. We assessed the site condition. There are quite a bit of work and I needed her to do a good job so I offered to give her $50 more for extra cleaning and she was happy. Mind you there is a communication challenge as she spoke some English and I didn't speak Spanish. We relied on Google translate and I felt we got the point across especially when I could return to do the final walk. I told her I have meetings and not able to make it back until 1:15pm. She said she has another job so she has to leave by 1pm. Well my feeling is I wasn't the one that was late 1.5 hrs late. If she arrived to my appointment at 9am then we wouldn't be in this position. I thought she understood. I received a text from her at 12:45pm saying she's done. I told her I'll be there by 1:15 or asap. She then text said she has another job she must leave. I was more irritated so just told her to meet me inside the condo. When I arrived, I noticed the window sill marked with glue tape was not cleaned and many of the walls were not cleaned as well as I liked. I showed her the window glue marks and she was clearly frustrated because she could just leave. I asked her to clean it so she started rattling off Spanish to her helper. Well I don't care, I paid $50 more to get the extra cleaning. She cleaned the best she could in a short time. But I later found oils stains not cleaned on the backsplash by the stove and all around the kitchen and dining room. When it was said no done, the condo was a huge improvement after the cleaning, but not for $50 more. read more

The cleaning lady Samantha the first time does a great job but after the first time she becomes very negligent. They will start doing a very poor job. Skipping things or not fully cleaning unless you call them out on it. I have cameras in my home so Ive seen it being done and heard how they've spoken. Very unprofessional. Also getting her and her friends to actually show up and do the job is another thing. I was needing someone weekly or bi weekly and she would cancel last minute or not even show up. I would be very specific with the days and times I had open for them To come and she would still insist on coming at times that were inconvenient. I definitely do not recommend hiring them and at this point I'm looking for someone else to fill the position. read more
