UPDATE: Clean Cut has contacted us this week and is working with us to figure out a resolution. Sounds like there was some sort of personal issue that took the owner away from the business and someone else within the business is trying to address the lingering issues, like our situation. They wanted to ensure we got our money back through the bank (which we did) and have also offered to complete the job if we want to do that. While I wish we had gotten this done back when we initially went through the process, I'm impressed they followed up after all this time to make sure we are made whole. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We ordered two doors in early October. We were told it would be 4-6 weeks until installation. After barely responding to texts and emails, we finally received confirmation in January that ONE door would be installed. They installed the door and did a terrible job with paint and woodwork. We had to have them come back out to redo. We are STILL waiting for the last door. They say it will be installed by end of March but refuse to answer any questions regarding if the door is actually in production or not. AGAIN...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT 6 MONTHS AND/OR NEVER RECEIVE YOUR DOOR. read more

Similar to others I ordered windows and then they disappeared and no call backs and office phone wasn't monitored. Eventually Trevor's wife communicated but it was delay after delay. I called manufacturer and no order was in system for me. Luckily I used a credit card for the deposit and I was able to dispute. Think I may get it back. The person I spoke with asked me to send pictures and said he would get back to me with a quote once he was in front of his computer. After I sent the photos, I never heard back. I texted a few times but got no reply and no follow-up at all. If a company can't even provide a quote after the initial contact, that doesn't give me confidence in their reliability. Wow! I am simply blown away! Replacing the door between our breakfast room and the rear deck... Contacted Clean Cut last week, got a great quote (not the most expensive, not the least expensive) and engaged them. Rather than the six to eight weeks to get the doors installed, they told me it could be 3 or 4 weeks. Then they called and said they had the door in and could they do it later this week... Here we are a week later and the door is in. Great crew to install the doors and then a separate employee to paint and finish the trim. Meticulous. skilled craftsmen at work. My husband and I were sick of our thinly painted, dented red door and shutters to match. So, I requested a group of door replacement quotes from Yelp. The one catch was that I didn't want someone to come to the house for quotes, and I didn't want to talk on the phone. I wanted a simple door, and I provided measurements and photos. I figured that was enough to give a general quote. Josselyn with Clean Cut windows was the only person on Yelp that would handle the entire transaction entirely online. Every single other provider required coming to your house or a chat on the phone for a sales pitch before providing a general quote. After I accepted the quote via email, they came out and double checked my measurements before they ordered my door and paint. I was afraid I would have a gaping hole in the front of my house for an entire day. Nope. The installer arrived on the exact day at the exact time agreed, and he was done in what seemed to be about 1.5 hours. Then the painter arrived to dress up our door, trim, and shutters to the exact Sherwin William's colors requested. No problem. It started out well when we ordered back in June 2021. They told us around 3 months since things were slow to get where they needed to be (post-covid) That was fine, I'm completely reasonable when given the facts and kept upto date. We were then given a date the end of September so I schedule 2 days off work for the 2 day install. When the time comes I reach out to make sure we're set for the install - nope they didnt arrive from the manufacturer as planned. Now I understand that this was not their fault but not updating me was. Another install date was scheduled, 1 day before I get a message to say they were behind (because of the rain, weeks ago albeit) and my 2 day install would now become a 1 day install (red flag). Install day arrives. Already 2 of the windows will not be installed as they are not the correct windows - despite having a week to check them over (this was another delay). They struggled to get some windows out as we were told they were 'over-fitted' hmmm not even sure what they means. I was not entirely pleased when fitting my kitchen window they stood on my newly fitted countertop with their boots - no shoe covers, no protective covering at all, gross. It was a long arduous day but they got the rest of the windows fitted. Upon going out to inspect the windows we realized that our whole upstairs blinds were not going to fit - we apparently should have been told this, yeah you got it we weren't. There was a deep scratch in one of the units which took another 5 months to get replaced. Trevor graciously paid for replacement blinds but again the lack of simple communication is shocking. The outside was also a mess, there were blades from knives lying around (we have a pup). The finish was appalling. Caulk is supposed to be a finishing product but not in this case... The window fitment and final finish is way below the standard I would expect of a professional. Surrounding trim was damaged. Trevor promised it would all be sorted and corrected. They did come back and fill the inch of caulk with another filler that looks better but nevertheless would they have done that if I hadnt made such a fuss? The 2 windows that had to be made came in another month or so and again loads of caulk and damaged trim issues. The bought paint to touch up but didnt really do that as I can still see spots. We were promised a last once over to make sure everything was ok and our windows cleaning... yeah surprisingly that didnt happen either ‍ I will say Trevor is a nice guy but his employees appear to know that they can get away with not doing everything he says or cutting corners. On the whole a very stressful experience. read more
