I counted one, the black silk shirt that was actually dry cleaned, the rest smelled different. My main issue, my blue silk shirt came back rough to the touch, wrinkled or creased all over, and felt like sand paper. They washed it in water then pressed it with starch. Ruined the item. I just paid $30 for it off eBay so wanted it cleaned, it was perfectly fine but to be sure I wanted it cleansed before wearing. For these prices it should have came back meticulous. Alas it wasn't. I give one star because the guy was nice enough. Buyer beware.

Apparently he is the new owner and bought this business about a year ago. He seemed quite grateful to me for being a new customer and trying out his service. I asked if he accepts coupons, and he opined that these were lean times due to the state of the economy and he cannot afford to offer these, but that sometimes he may offer a special. This is a local Normandy Park Cleaners that has managed to hang on as other cleaners in the area are forced to close their doors. Four Star is extremely convenient for me (I live only 1/4 mile away). So it is in my own self interest to see this business survive. And local businesses that survive help the community and help us all. The Cleaning is as good or better than any cleaners I've been too, The service is great, and for those reasons I am awarding five stars. I bought three pairs of jeans and tailoring was needed. I walked in and asked about pricing. The kind woman took a look, ask a couple of simple questions and priced them. I felt her authenticity and warm matter-of-fact approach. Others have significantly increased pricing and also offered excuses at the time of payment. Not only was this consistent from start to finish, on time as promised, the work was better. The price point slightly lower so with the service and skill, I'm beyond satisfied and look forward to recommending them. I am pleased I stepped in after grocery shopping just to ask questions!
