I use them last year when I found them on Groupon, and Samantha did a great job. However, I tried to use them again a week ago and man, they're a very unreliable company. I ordered a 2hr service from their 'current specials' section online, only to be told that they no longer offer it - so take it off the website? Also was told it didn't apply for a same day, so I chose another service for 4 days later. Via text they confirmed the appointment.  And then on the day of service no one showed up. I called the number, and even sent texts with no response. I had made arrangements, and no one even called to offer an apology. Consistency is important, I would not recommend them. read more

I live in a small efficiency apartment, and hired CleanNDone for two hours of work mainly to get a deep clean on my floor. When the cleaner arrived, I specifically asked him to focus on the floor, especially underneath furniture and cabinets, first and foremost. I told him that I would be available to help move furniture if he needed, and he replied that neither moving the furniture nor cleaning the floor would be a problem, so I waited in my building lobby to give him space to do his job. I walked into the apartment 15 minutes before my two-hours were up to find that the cleaner HAD NOT EVEN BUGUN TO MOP. After the service was finished and the cleaner left, I checked underneath cabinets and furniture to find it still dirty, sticky, and dry indicating that he had not even tried to reach underneath. I contacted CleanNDone to explain what had happened, and let me say that even worse than the cleaning job were the condescending customer service representatives claiming it would be "highly unusual" to clean underneath furniture (seriously?) and that I "grossly underestimated" the time it would take to clean the floor of my 300 square foot apartment. Don't waste your money or time with these bozos, unless of course, you're okay with customer service representatives trying to gaslight you, and your cleaner doing a half-assed job. read more

Asked for an 8 hour deep cleaning service, I would not say that's what we got. The lady was very nice and we know she had her work cut out for her. After I insisted we needed 8 hours not 4 or 6 like the woman on the phone suggested, we thought there would be a team of people who showed up to clean our 2 story 2,000sq ft home. Nope. Just one person. There's no way everything we needed done could get done in that time frame by just one person. Base boards are still dusty/dirty. Walls were not wiped down. This was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. I would avoid purchasing a Groupon for this company because they are unreliable and unprofessional, and ultimately there's no deal off their regular prices (it's not normally $128 for a two hour service). At first, they sent someone who was clearly high on marijuana to my house. I hoped maybe she'd do a good job anyways? I was wrong. The cleaner did a terrible job and left abruptly. I decided to contact the management to let them know about their employee. Samantha Abrams, the owner, wrote me back and apologized for the subpar service. She admitted she had since received similar complaints and let this employee go. She then offered me a replacement service. I appreciated their candor and acceptance of responsibility. I decided to give them another try. But Ms. Abrams was unable to find anyone reliable to send to my house over the two week window I gave her. At the last minute, they cancelled the services that were pending. When I wrote to express my disappointment, she called me impolite (?!) and said she'd changed her mind and would not be offering any refund of any kind. Is this a scam because it seems as though there are many others who have had a similar experience as I have. It's been just about two weeks since I've been in touch with them trying to schedule an appointment. Their response every time has been that they are "slammed", which is unbelievable because I've been incredibly flexible with them. I've even told them to schedule me for ANYTHING they have! Very disappointed in the service I received. Cleaner was 45 minutes late to my appointment time, which I was easy to forgive. Mixups happen. But after taking a look at what the cleaner did in 4 hours for a tiny 2 bed 2 bath apartment, I was really disappointed. I'm not really sure what she did in 4 hours to be honest. I keep my apartment very clean, so I was really just looking for a nice deep clean. I was shocked to find my tabletops, counters and floors still dusty/sticky/etc. I had a list of things I wanted to get deep cleaned and she got through about 1/4 of the list. I was supposed to have a credit on my account for a cleaning, and absolutely no one called me back, or responded to my texts for over a week. They also told me when I called that they had fired the maid who came to my home for the services bc of other dissatisfied customers. I believe the maids name was Denise. There was mop streaks of a sloppy job, and the sink was wiped not scrubbed. There was dust even on dining room table. I could go on. I need to update my previous review and say that after a slow start we have truly found a gem!!! I came home after working a grueling 30 hour shift at the hospital to find an sparkling apartment. The young lady Rihana who came to clean our apartment is truly amazing and has an eye for detail. She moved appliances, dusted window seals and scrubbed fixture to a sparkle without being asked!!! I set an appointment and scheduled for 1 cleaner to come for 3 hour to clean my 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. I was contacted by the company when their staff member was on her way and informed she'd be 10 minutes late. She arrived exactly at the projected time and was very pleasant. I explained to her that I wanted a maintenence cleaning including my two bathrooms, mop/sweep if kitchen w/ counter/stove wipe down and dusting. I actually hate to give just three stars because the young lady who came was so lovely however I felt that there was a lack of attention to detail. Though the apartment smelled fresh and the bathrooms were clean there were a few area where there was still dust (book shelf in 2nd bedroom and living room) and the bathroom in the master bedroom while clean had some dust/hair left in the woodwork area and in the corners. Given all the wonderful reviews I think I'll give this company one more try before auditioning another company for my bimonthly maintenence cleaning. read more

I bought a Groupon for 2 hours of cleaning, and I love the job they did! I was moving out of my old apartment, and needed it cleaned ASAP and was worried about finding a cleaner at short notice (3 days notice) who would also be able to come later at night since I work. Clean & Done was able to send a nice lady out to clean at 8pm, and she did an amazing job! My old apartment is spotless. They do require you to have your own vacuum, so that is something to consider. But the booking process, etc and services provided were convenient and well-done. Also I liked how the owner called me to let me know when the cleaner had arrived, sometimes I get worried that people won't show up. read more

Very kind and professional especially Tim, Tammy & Sam they were all great to work with and extremely helpful in explaining the process on how to schedule your service. Nothing about the 120 hour service was deep cleaning and when I submitted proof that in fact the cleaner did not attempt to clean any of the 5 things I requested and requested a refund their respond was my kitchen was oily! Not sure why they have bad reviews. Sam was awesome at scheduling with me as I was in a time crunch. I explained my previous issue with another online cleaning company, which will remain nameless, and she worked with me to make it happen. Upon the scheduled appointment Aly was on time and friendly. The communications with Sam were very easy. She was very responsible, answered questions and scheduled the time very accurately. The cleaning lady was a little late for the appointment, but Sam reduces the charge right away. The "deep cleaning" job was not quiet "deep" though. The cleaning lady tried hard but I think the detergent she used on the work was not quiet right that the water stains in the toilet bowl were not be able to be totally removed. Overall they did a good job, honestly and nicely. I appreciate their efforts and will use them again. read more

Update upon (babbling) response from company: Yes, I posted on Facebook and Yelp my review (among others). The service is inefficient and not as simplistic as advertised. I was unable to book the service requested and therefore I can only provide a review on the service experienced, which was poor to say the least. Why would I continue to attempt to book with a company that cannot deliver or at least have the courtesy to speak with me - the website attempts to give the impression that this is a quick, fast online booking, when that is furthest from the truth. You may have been able to resolve the situation if I could have reached a representative via telephone rather than an automated recording stating that the mailbox is not monitored. However, only communicating via text only increased the burden of the process. You should also update your booking system so that it does not require the specific date and time, but maybe windows of dates and times as well. Also, the automated e-mails after the booking request are ridiculously long and repetitive. I stand by my text you chose to copy and paste below without any notice to me (which is fine because it only makes you look worse, and the comments are only truthful) - "Your website is very unclear and makes the process seem simpler than it is. I have other availability but the booking just asked for dates and time, which I entered the best one. It seems your company has too many kinks to work out. The business plan is great in theory but poor in execution. I will work with someone else since you cannot schedule easily or efficiently. I think you should include a much bigger caveat when booking that you may not be able to meet client expectations. This was merely a small booking for a portion of the house to test your services (fail) before hiring weekly got the full house going forward." After reviewing your yelp page, it is obvious that your customer service tactic is to attack the customer rather than fix the problem. This is not a company culture I care to support. Now I see you are still advertising on groupon which may lead to your lack of availability, as well as multiple significant discounts on the website. Although I do believe your standard prices are not in range, I'd rather pay a higher cost than the discount for a service that actually delivers. ----- Initial review: Attempted to book a service, but it was a complete fail in execution. This service is not as simple and efficient as it seems, nor was the company actually able to book the requested service. I had to follow up on my initial request as I had not received a confirmation. I could not reach an actual human verbally (customer service via text instead). The website requests for you to chose a specific date and time, but then, after the fact, leaves you feeling inflexible (even though I actually had multiple times available). I used them for the first time this past week for some extra help getting house ready for a big party. I don't have the name of the person taht actually came out as I was not home when she came and my husband didn't get the name but she did a fabulous job. She showed up 10 minutes early and got to work she cleaned our master bathroom which is big since it includes a two person Jacuzzi, she left it spotless and them used up the rest of the time cleaning the stove and kitchen, wish I would have booked her for a little longer as she worked non stop and what she worked on looked brand new. read more

The problem with this service lies in their scheduling - even with 8 days prior notice, they could not schedule someone to service my cleaning request. I was asked to provide updated availability repeatedly, even though I provided it 8 days (and repeatedly on subsequent days) ahead of time. They send confusing and vague e-mails asking for more flexibility, and once provided they continue to tell you they cannot schedule a service. I understand their business model - they're an "on-demand" home cleaning service, and it's like Uber where they will send your service request out to their cleaners and wait until someone takes your service request. Which works for Uber, but not for home cleaning services - they're essentially the middle man and the customer is at the whim of their cleaning staff's schedules. Even if you provide three different 3-hr windows for service, it depends on if someone in their cleaning staff feels like taking your service request, and you're just left waiting in the dark to "maybe" "perhaps" get your service request fulfilled. You find out the day prior if your 9hr window of time provided isn't going to work for their cleaning staff, and it's your responsibility as the customer to provide EVEN MORE flexibility and available time to cater to THEIR cleaning staff's schedules. You just keep rearranging your schedule to find out they MIGHT be able to accommodate your schedule. I've tried them twice - the first time I had a VERY frustrating time scheduling a service, and the second time it got to the point where I just cancelled my service request, as I was spending more time going back and forth with these people about scheduling a service than I've had with any other service company. I requested to cancel my service request, and the next day received YET another e-mail telling me "We're afraid we could not confirm your request". What the everloving hell? Use this service if you have the extra capacity to rearrange your schedule repeatedly, and don't care about when they can provide the service because they're wildly inconsistent. The frustration and inconsistency of their scheduling system makes dealing with this company incredibly frustrating. I don't recommend this company to anyone looking for a good consistent cleaning company. Getting the service scheduled itself isn't worth your time. read more

I called the number and no one answered, but the voice message provided a number to text. Within 10 minutes of texting I received a reply from Tim prompting me to set up a day and time. The only person that so would say anything positive about would be the lady who helped me to book the service on the phone, no one else. I needed for someone to clean my house for Thanksgiving day, and they were able to squeeze 4 hours in a very busy day which I'm very grateful for. BUT, when the cleaning ladies arrived, they were EXTREMELY RUDE, talking to me in a very authoritarian manner AS IF they were in their own home. The most 'bossy' lady was very fast and efficient. She cleaned 3 bedrooms in less then 3 hours. But the helper, took her over 2 hours to clean (very poorly) a small guest bedroom that is barely used. The oven was the most important thing that I asked to be cleaned (I needed to roast a Turkey the next day!!) was left dirty even though I PAID FOR DEEP CLEANING. I tried to call someone to complain, but no one answered. I'll NEVER recommend or use this service ever again. I purchased a Groupon for this cleaning company and did not end up with a cleaning. This review is for the booking system and the customer service I received. I have no grounds to review the actual cleaning staff, who may or may not be proficient. What Happened: The booking system is a mess. The website says slots are available when they are not. I appreciate the idea (the Uber of cleaning, texting to book slots, etc.) but it's not working out in practice. After my first time slot was turned down (this was a week in advance btw) I was sent an email asking for my range of availability. Once given, I got a slew of emails of "cannot confirm appointment." Finally one popped up that said "We're not quite confirmed yet" with a button at the bottom to actually confirm the appointment. Once clicked, it led me to a website that said "Thank you for confirming your appointments" and "We'll see you on Thursday." Thursday morning rolls around and I'm waiting for the cleaner to arrive, I've got a print out and and a screen grab of my confirmation. NO ONE SHOWED UP. A few minutes after the appointment time, I get another email of "cannot confirm appointment" for the time slot I was currently waiting for. I contacted customer service immediately. How it was handled: They got back to me rather quickly, saying they did not have me in the books. I checked my online confirmation, it now said "This appointment has been CANCELLED." It did not say this appointment never existed, it said "CANCELLED." Customer Service says that if I can prove that my appointment was confirmed and then cancelled they will refund me. So I send screen caps of everything. Then get this...I get blamed. Yes, I am accused of not reading the fine print or the emails (remember, I got like 30 of them). So I respond with more proof and an email saying that they really should rethink their system if a page that says "Thank you for confirming" is somehow NOT a confirmation. They finally conceded that the confirmation button in my email should not have been there and that they contacted IT to resolve it. Then they offered me a measly 15 free minutes on my next cleaning. My mom was coming to town the next morning, the whole point of the cleaning! I had to clean my entire apartment myself after work at night. Not to mention the time I spent waiting on the cleaner in the first place. This does not in any way make up for wasting my time like this. Stop blaming your customers for your own misgivings. There IS a blatant problem with this system. I understand you're busy, you're booked, or flukes happen and things don't work out. But I do not appreciate being blamed (regardless of the flowery language around it) and then offered a completely dissatisfying fix. read more

i agree with all the negative yelp reviews. same thing happened to me. i booked an appt weeks in advance and they canceled 48 hrs before my appt saying they could not secure staff. poor business model and according to samantha's responses to these yelp reviews, poor customer service! she is not apologetic in any of these responses! these are legitimate complaints people have and instead of taking them as an opportunity to improve her business, she is gets defensive and justifies cancelling these people's appointments by saying she is so busy! in my case, i had a dinner party scheduled for saturday so i scheduled a cleaning for thursday evening. i also said i'm open to friday evening or saturday 9am-4pm. still cannot secure staff. why advertise that your company can make our hectic lives easier by some cutting edge new way of being "different" than other companies if you are just going to cancel an appointment that was booked weeks in advance? this company is a big joke! bye felicia! read more
