HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I just finished having a roof installed by Clean Roofing. From start to finish the whole process was extremely pleasant and professional! Initially I contacted Clean Solar with the intent of having Solar installed on my home knowing we were going to need our roof replaced at the same time. I really liked the idea of using one company for both the solar and roof install. After much debate my wife and I decided to forgo the solar portion altogether being as how it did not seem cost effective for our particular situation. Needing to still have our roof replaced we received two other quotes, but decided to go with Clean Roofing. Not only did Clean Roofing provide the least expensive quote, but they gave us 5 different options for roofing materials, multiple ventilation/insulation options, and a detailed cost breakdown for each portion of the project. The other companies were very vague in their descriptions, only gave a total project cost (no breakdown), and did not seem nearly as friendly to work with. Logan O'Reilly was our initial consultant and he was very informative and honest in helping us choose a roofing style/material that had the best warranty without being too extravagant. Shortly after signing the contract to move forward, Clean Roofing went right to work in helping us secure financing and schedule an on-site visit to go over the project in greater detail. I was contacted by Joe to schedule the site visit. He was very accommodating and more than willing to schedule the visit so it wouldn't interfere with my job. I ended up meeting with Miguel Huerta on the day of the site visit. Miguel arrived a few minutes early for our appointment and didn't hesitate to climb up on my roof with me and go over the project down to the finest details. He was very friendly, professional, and more than willing to answer my questions. I explained to Miguel that I was concerned with how much dry-rot might be present once the tear-off was done and he gave me peace of mind by suggesting that I replace the rotted sections myself in order to save labor and materials cost being as how he "could tell I was a DIY'r" (multiple projects around my yard lol). After hearing his suggestion I was sure I had made the right choice with Clean Roofing as I know most companies would be bothered by their customer's wanting to do some of the work themselves. My only other concern at this point was that it was going to be several weeks before they could start my project due their busy schedule. Unfortunately my roof had developed several leaks from the recent storms and I was really hoping to have it replaced sooner, but I was understanding of their schedule. I expressed my concerns to Miguel and he assured me that if they happened to have any sooner openings he would be sure to let me know. Several days later my phone rang and it was Joe calling me to let me know that they ended up with a break in their schedule and that they could start on my roof the following day! I happily accepted and he said that they would start the tear off the following afternoon. The next evening I was contacted by Miguel to go over the findings from the tear off. He let me know that even though there were some additional repairs that would need to be done before they could put the new roof on it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I decided to just go ahead and have them do it all so I wouldn't have to deal with it and/or slow down the project. After that point it was smooth sailing and everything went better than expected. In total it took about 4 days from start to finish including the gutter company coming out the last day and making custom gutters on the spot! Miguel made sure to keep me informed every step of the way and his crew swept my entire yard everyday before leaving to make sure my animals or children wouldn't step on any nails or debris. My roof turned out beautifully! I am actually excited for the next rain so I can see how well my roof drains! I would not hesitate to recommend Miguel and Clean Roofing to any of my friends or family and will definitely use them in the future if I happen to burden myself with another old home purchase lol read more

Clean Roofing put on my new roof in December, 2023. The company was recommended to me and they did not disappoint. I contacted and received estimates from 5 roofing companies, and Clean Roofing's estimate was very competitive and reasonable. They are rated as master craftsmen for at least two companies' shingle systems, and as such, I could choose between the multiple companies' shingle selections, and benefit from a longer warranty period. I was on a very tight timeframe to get the new roof installed, I was very happy that Clean Roofing had the bandwidth to be able to accomodate my unexpected immediate need. Customer Service, with the exception of one communication glitch, has been excellent starting from the initial contact with PJ, senior sales advisor; Miguel, operations manager; Omar; and especially Daniel and Silvano, roofers, who worked tirelessly to insure they provided a quality product. Even working short staffed, Daniel and Silvano did not rush the job, paying attention to the details (like touch up painting one of the rafters) that make the difference between an OK job, and one that says "WOW! This is looks GREAT!!" Office personnel Brandi and Justin have been very responsive to my many questions and requests, and they handled the permitting process and follow-up to be sure my roof met code requirements and had been signed off by the city after final inspection. Micah, the owner, came out on the first day, after the old roof had been removed, and participated in the review and assesment of the decking, and explained what additional work needed to be done and why. I appreciated that when I voiced my concern over the scheduling miscommunication, he owned it and apologized. In my opinion, Clean Roofing went above and beyond to make sure I have a great quality roof that will last decades. Knowing I have solar panels, Clean Roofing personnel Miguel came back out and reinspected my roof after the reinstallation of the panels. He found a couple of shingles which had been damaged during the reinstallation, and Clean Roofing did repair/replace them to insure the integrity of my roof and prevent any future water damage into my house. I very much appreciate that level of Customer Service, professionalism, and their commitment to quality work. We had a really good experience with Clean Roofing. The old roof tear off was quick and efficient, and they started working on the new roof the same day. We also got new gutters and that job went very smoothly as well. We had termite damage in a few places. The wood had been treated, but the termite company wanted far too much money to repair the damage. Clean Roofing fixed all of the fascia and rafter damage for a very reasonable price. Our crew was David, Juan, and Pedro and Jesus was the project manager. The roof is fairly steep and has a lot of complicated geometry, and I had special concerns about openings where squirrels had gotten into the attic years ago. I had closed them up, but I could see that they would get opened up when the old roof was taken off. I spoke to Jesus about that before the job started and he made sure that the openings were closed up again when the job was finished. The crew worked well together. They were careful about doing the complicated parts correctly. They discussed options with us when a choice needed to be made. They cleaned up at the end of each day and cleaned up really well at the end. The day that the inspection happened and was signed off Micah came and did his own inspection. He identified a couple of cosmetic items that he wanted fixed. His guys came back and took care of it after they already had full payment. We built a pool once and it was almost impossible to get the last details completed after the pool company had most of the money. I was really happy that this was so easy. They are an honest, ethical company. We are very pleased with Clean Roofing and are looking forward to the Clean Solar installation that is coming next. read more

We engaged both Clean Roofing and Clean Solar based on both being local companies. We've had a superb experience with both companies. The quality of craftsmanship along with a deep knowledge of solar technology and roofing expertise. I interviewed nine solar companies looking for the right company to do a roof upgrade and solar install. We chose Clean Roofing and Clean Solar. We have a concrete tile roofing on three levels for our home. While planning the solar install Clean Solar showed us that it would be less expensive to replace the tiles with a new roof under the solar panels (with a better fire rating). This introduced us to Clean Roofing. The team arrived and rapidly replaced the upper roof levels (where the solar panels were to be installed) with new fire rated shingles and appropriate weather protection. At the final inspection of the new upper roof, the team foreman pointed out water damage and dry rot in the lower roof section that we had not noticed. The quality of the new upper roof led us to engage Clean Roofing to repair the lower roof section. This was done with great skill and high quality materials. They rapidly repaired the existing damage and improved the roof to prevent damage in the future. It turned out to make the roof line look better than before. The value ( cost for quality ) was more than reasonable for both the roofing and solar install. Had a terrific experience working with Clean Roofing. We have a complicated multi-story roof, with several steep pitches, that also had previously identified dry rot and termite damage in several areas. Jack came out and provided a thorough and accurate estimate, that included the roof, repairs, new gutters and also skylights. Not an easy job, but the supervisor Miguel, foreman Jose and their crew were courteous and hardworking, and checked in with me each day about any decisions to be made, or any questions I might have. When Miguel was not onsite, he was easily reachable via text, and very responsive. As we are planning a solar install with their sister company Clean Solar, we were able to co-ordinate vent styles and placement so as not to interfere with the future panel placements. Miguel, Jose and crew definitely went the extra mile, even touching up paint on trim and fascia boards, and patching small areas of stucco as they went, so that the roof would look its best. For the repairs, they kept careful track of the time & materials, and returned any leftover material at no charge. They strived hard to keep the project moving, even during one of the worst heat waves in years. The crew clearly knew what they were doing, very detail oriented. Clean Roofing is the best. A neighbor who had roofing work done gave me their contact. I thought his roof looked great. They were a professional, respectful, experienced and responsible team from the beginning. Art provided me with complete specs and the proposal in less than 24 hours and was available to answer all my questions and help with choices. We selected Clean Roofing after getting a few quotes from various roofers. While their quote was quite competitive, one of the reasons we went with with Clean Roofing was because they worked in partnership with Clean Solar, the company we used for our solar panel installation. Although they are two separate companies, they did work very well together, coordinating seamlessly to takedown and re-install the solar panels. However, this review is specifically for our roofing experience. Clean Roofing's team was efficient, courteous, and thorough. I especially liked that they talked to me about what they were doing every step of the way, allowing me to make adjustments to our initial work order as we changed our minds about certain items. For example, we initially wanted to change out a sun tunnel but decided that we didn't need to have it down after all. Because each step of the way was communicated, we were able to make adjustments in time, before the items were bought and the roof was cut. The highlight was the re-installation of new skylights. Our prior skylights were installed incorrectly, likely causing some of the dry rot in the plywood sheathing. Clean Roofing's team installed new saddles on top, correctly installed the flashing for the opening, and installed new venting skylights in our family and living room, just in time for the summer heat wave. read more

We hired Micah and Clean Roofing to install a new roof prior to doing a solar installation and are quite pleased. Micah was willing to give us several pricing options depending on what product we wanted and which options and even brought out samples of our top 4 candidates so that we could see the actual shingles instead of just photos on a computer screen. He was very patient with my trying to understand enough about roofing to be able to make educated decisions. We were also pleased that the PM Monica assured us that if the family of 5 finches had not fledged as expected by the anticipated start date, they could hold off until they did. As it turned out the birds had already left, so it wasn't a problem. Our crew of Rodrigo, Pedro, and Mac did a fine job and when I mentioned that I could use some of the old pieces of plywood that came off the roof from changing from eyebrow vents to a attic fan, they not only set them aside for me but also pulled all the nails. The cleanup was generally pretty good. Another thing that very much impressed us was that when the tear-off of the old roof damaged our internet connected Micah's immediate response was to offer to pay for the repair and our internet bill for the month. I needed to replace my 22-years old shingle roof. I also had solar panels on a top of my roof. My roof needed quite a bit of dry rot repair before the actual roofing. The teamwork these guys have is unbelievable in todays world. They worked seamlessly, over 2 days to get the job done. I wish to commend Laura's efforts in helping to manage the schedule. Excellent work installing a new roof. Salesman (Justin) no pressure. Carefully and completely explained what would be done and every detail was spelled out in my/the contract. Two very minor problems which when I reported, were corrected quickly and completely to my satisfaction. All debris removed. Final payment wasn't requested until I said I was totally satisfied. My solar panels were carefully removed/replaced in good working order by their sister company. Clean Solar. Best of all, total price was over $2 thousand less than a competing roofer with an equivalently high Yelp rating. Salesman touched bases with me several times to make sure I was happy with the progress and completion of the work. I recommend them and will to any friend who needs roof work of any type. read more

We were looking for a roofing contractor that would work with our solar contractor. We found that with Michah and Clean Roofing they fit the bill. The company staff, the crew and everyone involved went way beyond our expectations. Everyone was truthful, honest, hardworking, professional and friendly. They showed up when they said they would, finished the project on time and even colored the mortar to match the 1936 Spanish clay tile. Nice added touch. The crew were very careful with the yard, never bothered the dog and the cleanup was better than we could have done ourselves.. We also noriced one clay tile was not "perfect" and they came out that same day and fixed it. We highly recommend Clean Roofing and have already mentioned their name to our friends. read more
