Peruvian Passion - it's purrrrfect : )
Katherine K.

My love and I recently had two wonderful experiences, at Catch a Healthy Habit! We were visiting Fairfield, CT from NYC, and stumbled on a new and true jewel. We found the environment to be both welcoming and relaxing -- the first day, due to good, sunny weather, we even got to sit outside. Also, the first day we met and were served by Lisa -- who was so lovely; her warm smile and gentle hospitality quickly put us at ease. The next day we were served by a nice young man, but I didn't get his name. Alright -- the food! Let's talk food. : ) The first day, I ordered "the bagel" (everything is vegan on their menu), made with cashew cream cheese...and it was heaven on a plate! It was quite filling, too. I also ordered the Peruvian Passion smoothie, which was incredible. I wanted two of them, but didn't have any more room in my belly for another one. LOL So, the second day I ordered the bagel all over again, which was totally worth it, and opted for a warm matcha latte (with spirulina), drink instead. It was also incredible - and if you're a matcha fan, like I am - then I'd highly recommend it. Also, on a somewhat random note, I loved the clean products that they chose for their bathroom and really enjoyed washing my hands in it. : ) If you're ever in Fairfield, def go check this place out! Whether you're vegan or not, it's certainly worth a visit - or two! : )

It's rare to find a place where the ENTIRE menu can cater to someone who is on a dairy-free, soy-free and gluten-free diet. Catch a Healthy Habit is just that. Service was great and the staff was knowledgeable about the ingredients used and was able to answer all questions we had. I tried the spring rolls that were made with a wrapper made from coconut. You can taste the coconut in the wrapper which went along well with the tangy dipping sauce and the filling of kelp noodles, carrots, romaine lettuce and avocados. It was served cold, more like a Vietnamese summer roll than a hot, fried spring roll seen at other places. It was crisp, refreshing and slightly creamy from the avocado. It was a bit messy to eat, but still manageable. For my drink I had the minty chip smoothie. I found it interesting that banana was blended with peppermint and cacao nibs. It was good since the mint and chocolate flavors dominated the smoothie with only a hint of banana. Majority of the shake was blended well. I only came across a small chunk of unblended banana. My friend loved her two dishes: the curry quinoa bowl and magic mushroom elixir. I'd eat here again if I'm in the area.

Great vegan lunch spot. Photo is from September when it was warm enough to sit outside! The Nori Wrap and Gotcha Matcha are my go-tos. Both are always a 10/10. Service is great and the staff are super friendly. Definitely recommend.

This place is so special to me! This cafe introduced me to veggie juices and delicious raw food and dessert. Yes, I was one of those people that was like "This is super 'crunchy granola' and all they eat is wheatgrass", which is NOT what it is. Was passing through Fairfield and wanted to get a slice of one (or two ) of their famous raw pies. I ordered: Two slices of cookies and creme raw pie (coconut cream based, coconut flakes, cacao nibs (?)) Cinnamon roll (date, coconut, tumeric) Coconut chocolate cup If you've never been here, I suggest trying out the coconut macaroons and their smoothies.

WARNING: the BIGGEST waste of money I've ever spent!!!! *Okay so I HATE that I'm giving a PLANT BASED restaurant a bad review because there aren't too many around this area & I LOVE that this is one of the few BUT I just can't lie on my Yelp.... I came here back in August hoping I would leave with a new favorite restaurant on my list. HOWEVER, I ended up leaving $30 less in my wallet and a HUNGRY stomach!!! The Tiramisu Latte Smoothie was pretty good. I didn't have any complaints about it. I got the "famous" Nori Wrap because I heard so many good things about it. ITS LITERALLY MAINLY greens wrapped in seaweed. All of the ingredients sounded REALLY good on the menu but once I got this pathetic little wrap I was so sad after spending $30..... This was my LUNCH and I ended up leaving with an empty stomach AND wallet..... I was really disappointed in this place because I had such high hopes for it. The portion sizes were just way too small. If you have a small appetite and a big wallet, come here. If you're hungry, go somewhere else. I ended up going to a nearby vegan spot and getting a muffin because I was still so hungry. More money down the drain!!!!!

Finally! A place America needs... vegan, organic and gluten free and raw. Ever since I came to the United States I've developed intolerance towards so many food groups...it worries me. This place is such a refresher, I can order anything off the menu without thinking twice. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect.. our waiter recommended a smoothie...but in a bowl, Say what!..topped with bee pollen, goji berries and nutola.. OMG! it was dessert that rewards you with all the health benefits. The spinach spring rolls were light and refreshing with carrots avacado and greens. On the menu was coconut water right off the shell.. I had to have it and oh! the coconut flesh... how i missed it.. esp. after growing up in a tropical country where this was a common affair. A chilled atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Slightly expensive.. but as I say, it's better to pay for food than for hospital bills.

This place is worth it if only for the smoothies. You know when you want a chocolate smoothie but you want it to be "healthy"? Some places will give you nonsense with avocados or weird cacao or other "healthy" options that just don't taste that great and you're trying to force it down while wishing you just grabbed a darn shake at Rawley's instead... but not here! Raw, vegan, and very delicious. So many wonderful flavors to try! Might I recommend the Mexican hot chocolate or banana boat with strawberries?

This is their "burger"

I was told this was going to be the best smoothie I'd ever have and she was right. The greatful green lived up to that claim.

** Bait & Switch Pricing - Greedy out of touch owner **…read more Stopped in with my two teenage daughters for a quick snack after school. One ordered a juice, one ordered a smoothie. After taking the order, the staff said they couldn't make the juice. Fine; we agreed to one smoothie split into two cups. Instead, they overfilled two cups. At the register, the owner tried to charge me for two smoothies (nearly $12 each). I explained we only ordered one smoothie to be divided. He looked at the cups and said they were full, so I had to pay for two. That's not how ordering works. If he had half a clue, he would've investigated further instead of immediately trying to squeeze the customer. He didn't. He then took one smoothie away from my daughter, said he'd divide the other, went into the back, came out with an empty cup, handed it to me, and told me to divide it myself. After the bait-and-switch and then adding insult to injury, I finally broke down and called him an M.F.; though frankly, that's too generous he is really just a low-life POS. He responded by calling me a cheapskate and telling me to get out (in front of my kids). For the record, both daughters also bought other items in this already overpriced store. This wasn't about money. It was about refusing to be taken advantage of. Maybe this kind of conduct flies somewhere wherever he is from, but it's not how business is done in the U.S. or in Westport. And last I checked, the basic rule still applies: the customer is always right, especially when the facts are this clear. Plenty of better options nearby (GG & Joes has better smoothies!). We won't be back.

Hello, Just wanted…read moreto give you an update on my recent visit on 11.25.25 around 8p. I frequent your location in Stratford Connecticut often. I tell everyone about your location and I still will. However, let me bring to your attention that the customer service was awful. I was not greeted by the young lady at the cashier station. I walked around with my little hand cart and she followed my every move. She saw me looking around for products, and not once did she ask could she help me(which I needed, but finally found it myself). Instead of thinking I'm a thief, she could of interacted with me to see why visited your location. I arrived at the cash out and she never looked at me, asked did I find everything, or even just make some type of chatter. The only thing she said was "would you like a bag for 10c". I said yes and she bagged my items. I tried to see if should would engaged. I ask what time the store closed (i know you close at 9) just to see if she would dialog. She said just the number "9" with no eye contact. She put my receipt in the bag, and pushed my bag towards me. I returned the hand cart. I said thank you, and she said nothing again. I felt like confronting her but I didn't. Please retrain your cashier on customer service. Your store is not cheap, so I expect to be treated with value. I've never been treated like that in this store. If I'm treated like this again, I'm done, and tell everyone not to shop.

Think of Whole Foods, much less busy, not a whole lot of rushing (which is a good thing) and you take your time to browse around the smaller store. The quiet and calm was cool, for a Thursday evening, not too shabby. We came across a lot of products we haven't seen before. Great options from a vast majority of gluten free to bring your own containers for pasta to help reduce waste. Plenty of signs to look at and read what we can do to be proactive with our bodies, lifestyle and the environment. I loved knowing this was a smaller scale. We accidentally forgot our reusable bags, however bought a new MOM'S insulated bag. Until next time, we will be back!
