    Requested a quote to have my gas fireplace inspected on my home I just moved in and Cesar was the first to respond and did so within 10 minutes. Cesar did a great job during the inspection explaining what was wrong and showing me so I could better understand. He thoroughly cleaned my fireplace and chimney. He was meticulous and efficient. The before and after is so beautiful! When done he cleaned up his equipment and left no trace that he was here. I am already enjoying my fireplace and my dog is loving it as well. Adds so much warmth to the home literally and figuratively. Highly recommend Cesar!

    Leaks at multiple seams

    Unreliable. Did not finish work. Cesar is a very friendly and nice guy. He is also a hard worker. Unfortunately, I think he takes jobs he can't complete. I contracted him for gutter replacement. His price was better than most and all seemed good. He told me it would be done in 2 days max. Its been more than a month since he started. The gutters look fine, but they are leaking. I have asked him to fix it a few times, and they still leak. He also left all the old gutters and trash in my yard. He still has not removed it. I cannot recommend him for any work, and I have had neighbors ask.

    Today I was amazed. Preface... Last May, shortly after my divorce, I bought here in Cinco and my dog, Luca, and I moved in this past July after having some much-needed work done. The floorplan, high ceilings and size were perfect for us. I knew it had some issues that needed addressed as the inspection report revealed the many years of neglect, lack of maintenance, hack repair jobs and DIY electrical wiring but I bought it anyway knowing that it has good bones and despite the dated look with some repairs, lots of love and much, much needed aesthetic updates, this house would be beautiful again and become our new home. Since then, I have frequently felt like I am living a remake of Tom Hank's old movie, "The Money Pit" and my enthusiasm has been replaced with frustration, anger, and disgust at how many of the "professionals" that I've hired and entrusted to do work have taken advantage. My friend's husband and their son (may God bless them as my gratitude is profound) came and informed me where things weren't right, re-did a lot of stuff, helped me with several projects and did a far better job than the ones that I'd hired. I've been lied to, over-charged, jobs were performed sloppily, or the most insulting has been work not done at all and their painfully obvious inconvenience to return to complete what they were paid to do in the first place. This has left me apprehensive with little faith or trust in companies. So, to turn my experiences into a positive, I am taking the time to write in length and personally mention the companies and individual's name that I've encountered that are good, honest and do their job well in effort that others may consider their services. I want good companies to know that I appreciate them and to recognize a job well done as their performance met or exceeded my expectations. Today my expectations were exceeded. I saw the ad on Nextdoor for a special Cleaner Texan, LLC is currently running for a chimney sweep and inspection at a competitive price. I sent a message around 11 pm last night asking if they could come out today. I thought I was sending the message to the company, and they'd get it this morning but to my surprise I received a response within a few minutes from Cesar and he was able to fit me in this afternoon. Cesar came out, arrived on time, and performed an inspection of my fireplace and chimney and did the chimney sweep. When he finished, with photos he explained what he had inspected and showed me the important aspects that could have issues. He told me that everything was in good condition except for the cap is old and he stated that while he could provide me with an estimate, he felt it didn't need replacing it quite yet. I was in shock. He was extremely courteous, very professional, and HONEST! I learned about the other services they provide and without a doubt I will be using them again. Never in a million years did I think that Upfront Home Service would do me dirty like this after all of our years of working together but I guess that's what happens when a company gets GREEDY. They forget that it is their long time customers who helped them to succeed. Recently, we scheduled a move out carpet cleaning with a few patch repairs. At first, I thought everything was going great until I saw the one patch job. We brought it to the technicians attention & he said that was the absolute best patch that could be done. I didn't agree but waited until it dried. After he left, I went upstairs and noticed that the scent that is usually very pleasant after carpet cleaning was not there but instead the stench of dirty water was present & extremely strong.This was not the norm in past jobs with them so I immediately knew something was not right. I called the office & asked them to send someone over right away to see the job that was done and to smell the odor. I thought Rachel was going to send over a supervisor to check things out the next day but all that came over was a regular technician with a can of deodorizer to mask the odor. I thought they would have redid carpet & fixed the patch but that was not the case. Mind you, my circumstances have never changed during the 9 years I have used Upfront Home Services I have always had animals, & yes, animals have accidents. There was no more or less than the norm. After they cleaned my carpet, the carpet smelt great each time, so they cannot say it was my fault or point fingers. If they had only come out to see for themselves what I was referring to after I asked them to, they would have seen & smelt what I was talking about but they chose not to. A few days after this took place, & after I had a few moments to myself after moving State to State, I wrote an email to the owner, Joseph Pais expressing my concern & instead of reaching out to me personally, he had someone by the name of Daniel Guida call on his behalf. He seemed nice at the time & said he would send someone over to fix. I explained to him that the second visit should have handled this & that we no longer had access to the home. We moved out. I told him we had spent almost $1000 on this work & the least they could do since they didn't fix any of it on second visit was to maybe refund us something. Maybe 15-20 percent of the cost since the job was not done right & no one thought it necessary to stop by next day to see what we were talking about. Well a week later, Daniel did not call me back so I sent a follow up Text to him yesterday. I saw that he read my text but didn't feel he should be professional & reply. I then sent another email to the owner, this morning, & he had the nerve to offer me a refund of $50 & a $300 credit if we ever returned to Texas & needed carpet cleaning. We moved to Florida 2 weeks ago AND WHY DO I NEED TO WAIT TO RETURN TO GET A CREDIT? REFUND ME NOW. THE JOB STILL SUCKS!!!!! If Joseph or Daniel had come to the house, they would have witnessed first hand our complaints & the odor we had after they cleaned it along with the really bad patch job. If our 9 years of business means nothing to them & they insult me by offering me a $50 refund after spending almost $1000 on this past job, then they can keep it. Apparently, they need the money more than I do. Keep this in mind if you need to hire a company to clean your carpet, tile, etc. If my 9 years of business meant absolutely nothing to them, how do you think they will treat you or your home?
