It seems like these days buying a car is more complicated then ever because big dealers, small…read moredealers, and medium dealers all have and sell the same inventory. After visiting and trying to purchase a vehicle at well known name dealerships I found the best deal at Del Toro. What I also learned was that all dealerships buy their inventory from the same auctions so really it is all about the deal, which in my experience is much better in a smaller dealership. Good job Del Toro Team. Thank you for a good experience.

The door frame on both sides and different parts of the inside. Most importantly the rubber on the passenger door in the back. it leaks and get totally watered down on that side. it only took a few days for it to be a huge disappointment. Dealer told me if I had any problems they would help me fix them. When I called about a week after bringing it home, they told me it was an as is sale and that they couldn't help. I thought about writing a review and then didn't want to take the time to do it. I've been thinking about it a lot lately because my son is looking for a used car. He wanted to go to Del toro. I told him about my car and after that discussion, I thought I'd better let others know so that they don't get scammed like I did. They originally asked me to write a review the day I bought it while I was waiting for the paper work. I declined and I'm glad I did. Don't buy from them. Scammers all the way.

My BF did some convincing for a few months before I started looking into used car dealerships. That's when I found Matthew Motors! Never once did I feel the pressure from them the entire time I was there. They just gave us the key to the 4runner we saw online and all the time we needed with the car. We tested the car as best as we could before finalizing the paperwork. I still remember before signing the papers, I asked what happens if there's something wrong with the car as I noticed the car was sold "as is" on the paperwork. They said to just give them a call and talk to them "after all, they are not in the market to sell defective cars". Fair enough. That same day, I drove 4runner around and my worst nightmare came true. THE. HORN. DIDN'T. WORK. Of course, I tested every button in the car BUT the horn *facepalm*. I immediately called them then took the car back the next day so they can have a look at it. Long story short, I had to take it to Toyota to get it diagnosed since they couldn't figure out what was going on. Toyota charged us over $500 just to DIAGNOSE what was going on and when I got the car back, two panels were missing, the cruise control and none of the buttons on the steering wheel worked. They insisted the issue was the spiral cable needs to be replaced which also caused the horn to fail.....alright(*eye-roll*) I took the car back to Matthew's Motor, gave them the diagnosis that Toyota gave me, then Jacob and Levi got to work. Not only did they get the horn working again, but they were also able to get the buttons on my steering wheel plus the cruise control working again(which apparently Toyota didn't plug my car back). Jacob and Levi, if you're reading this, I just want to say "THANK YOU SO MUCH!!" PLUS, the entire time I left my car there, Brian was extremely responsive to text and kept me updated with the status of my car at all times. I will recommend this dealership to all my friends and family and anyone I ever talk to around the Seattle area who is looking for a used car. They are an honest business, will do everything to make things right even though they contractually didn't have to. To Jacob, Levi, and Brian: Thank you for not traumatizing my first experience buying a used vehicle.

The car was in pretty good shape,…read morebut definitely had issues and Bryan was very open and willing to deal with me on the price based on me fixing a few things rather then them having to do it. We initially couldn't settle on price but Bryan reviewed a few things and called me back within a day to confirm he would accept my price. He was never high pressure or anything other than open and professional with the whole process, even when we agreed to disagree on price. Within 2 weeks discovered a hidden crack in the top of the radiator, that didn't show during our rather lengthy test drive. When I called Bryan back he got right on it and had arrangements with his connections for us to have things fixed--on our dime but at his cost. He wanted us to be happy, and it worked out just fine. Felt this was like buying a car from my uncle or something. I would recommend anyone looking for a reliable, honest used car source stop in and talk to Bryan about what you want, whether they have it or not. They'll get it for you and take care of you.
