This review is long overdue! Marti is the best at what she does and she's the person who helped me reset my body and got it working like it was supposed to. Obviously, Colonics never seem fun or comfortable. But with Marti, she actually makes them a fun learning experience. The whole room is set up to be very zen which you feel from the moment you walk in. I had a really bad experience at a different location and actually got sick. So, when I decided to come here, I was extremely nervous. Through Marti, I've learned so much about my body and the health of my digestion. Talya is by far the best. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable and an excellent communicator, she is very gentle and kind during an otherwise uncomfortable experience of a colonic. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Clear Way Health!!! I first went to see Talya Meldy with Clear Way about a year ago. A colonic is what I would call an "intimate intervention" and honestly I don't just go to any colon therapist for it. Talya was highly recommended to me so I went. These guys are phenomenal. I want to mention I didnt have a yelp until just now, but I want to give back and support this place that has helped me so much. I had never had one before, until last Friday. I am very into self-healing and spirituality. I am well aware of the fact that at least 80% of disease and illness comes from the colon. After having numerous occasions of hearing stories of people I know receiving care for issues regarding just that, I took it as an intuitive sign to continue. I am a raw vegan, exercise 25 + hours a week (dancing, workout, etc), and eat very clean and healthy, yet even I surprised myself with how much I was "holding." I was reluctant to try this but Talya eased my discomfort about the whole process. She answered all my questions and gently guided me through what turned out to be a soothing and nurturing experience. The entire session was relaxing and comfortable. I immediately felt lighter, more alert, and some how 'healthier' as I left the office. An hour later I went for a colonoscopy. When I awoke afterwards, the MD gave me a clean report and remarked that I must have followed the procedure preparation exactly, because he had an extremely Clear view. I made an appointment with clear way and I was nervous but excited to get a colon cleanse for the first time. My experience lasted for 45 min. for some reason not much elimination was taking place so I was instructed to try to eliminate in the bathroom. While I was in the bathroom for the second time Linda instructed me to get dressed and meet her outside. I was surprised that the session ended already and that she didn't wait until I was done and tell me what to expect next. I was feeling very uncomfortable and my abdomen felt really full, I guess from all the water. When I told Linda that I expected to feel better than when I walked in the clinic not worse she said not necessarily I might need to have more than one session. When Linda asked Talya about what I was feeling she replied the procedure is not magic fix. Then I was hurried to pay with little inquiry into possible explanations to what I was feelings. I was asked about my menstrual cycle and details about my bowl movement right there in the lobby with the presence of whom I think was another client. experience felt more like being at a hair or nail salon rather than a health clinic where people respect your privacy and genuinely inquire about your needs and concerns; apparently the expectation that I was going to feel lighter and better afterwards was a wild one. It might be the case that I did need more sessions or I needed a more experienced practitioner but the way I was treated shows little if any concern for patient wellbeing and satisfaction. read more

Just realized I've never written a review for Marti and Talya at Clear Way although my husband and I have been customers for a while. They're fantastic. I've had many colon hydrotherapy sessions over the years and find them a great way to clear out the system when we go from one season to another (although in Los Angeles, it seems like we really only have 2 seasons). They are gentle, always on time, and give you the undivided attention needed to do this process right. I generally go to Marti and have had 4 or 5 sessions with her over the past couple years and just sent a text asking for an appointment this week. Talya and Kelly are both great. Talya has a lot more health knowledge (from what I've seen and heard) but Kelly knows quite a bit herself. Matti was great. She spent so much extra time with me as It was my first time with this. The process is case by case and sometimes you can feel worse afterwards because of the detoxing. This happens to be the case with me. I felt very weak and lethargic afterwards for first 24 hours. But I did my best to replenish my electrolytes and I felt much better.
