If you're looking for a decent pizza place that is closer to Italian and New York style then this is your best bet in Ft Walton Beach. I'll be honest I want to like it more but a few things keep it from 5 stars. On my first visit I received a very burnt pizza. So much so that the crust crumbled away. It actually tasted pretty good for a burnt pizza but definitely not ideal. On my second visit I got my pizzas super cold. They give you a 15-20 minute window if you order ahead and I usually show up around the 15 minute mark. Tasted decent but the bottom had burnt residue on the bottom and the pizza was cold. Overall it's good and worth giving a shot. Consistency keeps it from 5, and even 4 stars but I still think you should check it out! No other place with this style of pizza in the area really. And I think if you dine in the experience will probably be better than take out. read more

The water here is nothing better than subpar. It has a slight odd aftertaste, similar to hose water. On the bright side, it comes in a fancy glass. The drinks do not come with straws unless requested, but save the turtles (or don't, I don't know which way you swing). Overall average. read more

Arrived at about 6pm. Pretty busy, but dinner date said it was worth the wait. Seated and ordered drinks and dinner at the same time. Server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience here. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, which is completely fine and normal, but after we ordered, we waited over an hour for our food. Seriously. Every table around us got their food, ate, and were long gone by the time we started our meal. It was strange. Maybe our waitress forgot to put in our order? I have no idea. We are locals to the area and travel back as forth seasonally. Clemenzas is the best for pizza, pasta and the sauce is incredible. Andrew is the best server. Until Clemenzas was sold a short while ago, it was our go-to, hometown, best Italian place to eat anywhere! Sad to say that now that it is in new hands, everything from the drinks, to the food, to the staff has taken a sharp decline. No more "hometown" atmosphere, no more "family" atmosphere. Verdict: They can do and have done better. Earned a 4 before and a 3- on the last visit. It was both the food and the service to earn the 3-. Hope it was just an of night. I ordered the Pugliese Calzone because it had been so good on my prior visit. They missed the mark on this one. The calzones are nice and big. There was lots of dough with mine but not much when it came to the filing. The chicken was cubed and tough. The spinach was clumped together and not well distributed throughout the calzone. The same could be said of most of the filling. The whole thing came out looking a little deflated. Our waiter was having a tough time though the service. It wasn't crowded so I can't say that was the reason. He brought the entrees out so quickly, there wasn't much time to enjoy the salads. When it came time to get the checks, he took about 15 min to bring them out. He left with the credit cards and it was probably another 15-20 minutes before he returned. The was a mixup on which cards he used on which checks so it took another 15-20 minutes to get everything corrected and the right receipts to sign. I'd go here again because I know they can do well. I'd probably order something different, in case the inconsistency is common with their calzones. read more

The menu has a lot of choices. It is quiet this morning but there aren't a lot of people here at 9;45 a.m. The specials this morning were steak crepes or salmon quiche. Our table of 5 - 2 ordered the steak and 2 the salmon specials. Breakfast is served 8am-1pm. This review is all about the breakfast-again. If you post on FB or Yelp or Instagram you can win a free pizza. Wish me luck as I would love to try and review the pizza. OMG....steak, mushrooms, onions and leaks rolled into 2 crepes with a light delicious sauce and a side salad of mixed greens and raspberry dressing. It is a treat just to get a good crepe but This special is off the charts. The banana foster french toast had high reviews. Served with gallops of whipped cream topped with strawberry slices and drizzled with Carmel sauce and dusted with powdered sugar. The Salmon Quiche special was served with a croissant, sausage, side salad and sauce in the side for the quiche. The salmon quiche was reported as very good. No leftovers to take home with this crowd. We left very full and satisfied with our tastebuds very happy. read more

Not impressed, not sure who gave them all their awards or if they r old and there's new kitchen staff or what. The pictures on here looked like a real margarita pizza; NOPE just a cheese pizza with giant basil leaves. The seafood linguine was not hot or garlicy(I asked for extra garlic) very chewy and not with the price. Also the garlic knots where drowning in butter they must use only garlic powered because again not garlicy.The house Chianti was the best part of the whole meal.
