However, there was a good bit of a wait, so I ended up going home and rebooking online for a weekday appointment. I got to my appointment about ten minutes early and when I walked in, the man at the counter asked me, "You here for an inspection?" and called me by name. I confirmed he was correct. It felt good to be expected. They took my car back immediately and were done very quickly. Their waiting area is comfortable and clean. Parking was easy. The location is convenient at the corner of Southwestern and Camp - easy in and out if you're making a right turn!

I left work early and travelled from Amherst to Hamburg (Camp Rd) and was at my appointment at 4:45pm. I went inside and stood there as workers came in and out without asking me what I was there or even greeting me. Granted, there was quite a wait. Another customer approached me and said he had been there since 2pm and just wanted to let me know that the person to do inspections was not there so I would have to reschedule. Finally, two Employees come to me, greet me and ask why I am there. I tell them I have a 5pm appointment and they both looked at each other. I stated that the appointment was confirmed and they both looked at each and said, "I didn't confirm it." Then I am told that, "The thing about scheduling online is it does not tell you that there is no one there for an inspection. I asked to reschedule and then stated, "You guys actually appear to be a disaster so I will pass and go else where." I wasted my time, money and gas. Dont confirm people's appointment's or give them a God damn courtesy call that you can't take the appointment. I am severely upset as I wasted so much time and still didn't have the work done that I needed.

I was sceptical since the car is always parked in my driveway and there has never been oil spots. I went for a second and third opinion and was informed there was no oil leak. My car, like typical older 4 cylinder vehicles has a tendency to burn through some oil and to check the levels periodically. Since then there have been no issues, there has continued to be no oil in the driveway. I was told previously by other people to avoid using this shop and now I know why!!!

Ended up having it towed to our local guy (Ellicottville Auto) who found and fixed the leak (a clamp), replaced the thermostat and a windshield wiper for under $300.
