My computer had a broken hinge that caused separation of the monitor from the keyboard. (Could not close it) I could live with the inconvenience until my computer decided to no longer turn on because of what I thought was interference from the broken hinge. Well Eric not only found an simple solution to fix the broken hinge, he also diagnosed that it was my power cord that caused my computer to stop working - no juice! Needed to get a firmware update for a portable electronic device I own - should be a simple 30 second thing - download a the updated firmware file and install it on the device. I usually take my systems to the Apple store for service, but it's a bit of a drive for me, so I decided to try ClickAway in Sunnyvale. I was frankly astounded at the prompt, courteous service, and how quickly they turned the job around. They diagnosed the problem, replaced the disk, recovered the data from my bad disk, and restored the system. I took the system in Thursday morning, and had it back in my hands Friday afternoon. Luke was very friendly, professional and delivered at a promised time. Whenever I need technical service, I'm always prepared for disappointment. Case in point, I needed my the battery on my iPhone 6 Plus replaced as per Apple Program. I made the appointment at the Palo Alto Apple Store, then when I got there they told me that it was out of stock and will notify me when available. What a waste of my Saturday evening. I called back yesterday and was told that I should have received an email or phone call explaining a delay until end of March 2018. Desperately looking for an alternative, Google came up with Clickaway in Sunnyvale. My 2017 iMac with 8GB + 1TB HDD was dog slow (it was running as bad as my 10 year old slightly beefier iMac). Decided to upgrade to 32GB and when I saw the instructions for the Memory swap, my decision to go with the pros at ClickAway was spot on. Spoke to Max OTP, and he promptly checked my config/ser# and was able to confirm that I can upgrade to 32GB. He also advised about upgrading the HDD to SSD at the same time. I dropped it off on Monday AM and Max stayed back late to complete the swap of both memory & SSD and delivered it as promised. I brought in my printer, as it was not working. I did pull out 1 paper prior to leaving the printer. However, William Anthony also found another paper jammed. In addition to finding that paper, also pointed out that there was a cartridge leak, the printer needed new cartridges, showed me how to fix if I encountered the problem again, and made sure it printed before I left the store. I appreciated William Anthony's quick and thorough assessment which he was willing to do so I did not have to return on another day. And appreciated as I needed the printer to print some papers for a class.
