I'm 18, so I obviously cannot drink alcohol. I ordered food and waited for service, but apparently the only way to actually get someone's attention is to walk over to the bar yourself. When I went over there trying to get help with my order, I was yelled at and made into a scene by one of the servers. All I wanted was the food I had already ordered. I understand that working in food service can be exhausting. I'm 18 and have worked as a server myself. I know there are bad days, difficult customers, and times when you simply don't feel like smiling. But when you're working with the public, basic courtesy and professionalism still matter. You don't have to love your job every second, but you should at least treat people with respect. What makes this especially frustrating is that this is a small town that gets a huge amount of tourism from people visiting Mount Rainier. This restaurant has an opportunity to leave visitors with a great impression of the area, and instead the experience I had was rude, disorganized, and unnecessarily hostile. I really hope management sees this review and takes it seriously. The food needs improvement, but the service needs even more attention. Train your staff, communicate with customers, and treat people like human beings. That shouldn't be too much to ask.
