Contractor installed windows from Climate Solutions in June 2024. The grids in the picture window that was installed have shifted. Reached out to the contractor who reached out to Climate Solutions stating we would receive a call within 72 hours. Received a call from Claudia who left a voicemail stating to call back and ask for Agnes. We have called this Agnes person 8 times since receiving the voicemail from Claudia. Agnes is on the phone, out to lunch or gone for the day no matter the time we call. Despite having an overall good experience with the contractor, Climate Solutions has proved to be less than helpful in resolving an issue that is entirely their fault. This is not how customer service is supposed to be done. read more

It's a great window, with paintable/stainable options that are immediately comparable to Andersen Windows or similar premium brands. Great team, too, with quick customer service and turnaround times. Folks reviewing here and blasting their general contractors who installed the windows wrong aren't exactly helping -- any window can be installed wrong. I am an expert, and I say these windows are top notch. Would recommend! Be sure to use a reputable installer for the actual installation. read more

I wish I could post 0 stars! Absolute worst company I've ever worked with. As a preferred vendor you'd think they would bend over backwards to help me since I have given them so much business over the past 10 years but as time progressed their service got worse with every order. So many delays, mistakes, poor finishes, terrible communication, and incompetency. They even threatened to call the police on me when I shared my frustration with their products and services! Do yourself a favor and find a better managed company. This company won't last so neither will your warranty. read more

Worst windows I ever bought! Been telling Climate Solution's that the windows have falled,But they always told me it was the installers didn't Install them right. They wanted to charge me $150 to come out and tell me that. I had another window company come out for free and check the frames for foam and there was none inside.The problem with the windows being drafty is that they never bio- foamed them. Terrible company! I wish there was a zero or negative star option. approximately 3 years ago I purchased 26 tilt in windows from Climate solutions and they were installed by Supreme windows. Supreme no longer does business with this company due to poor customer service and treatment. towards the end of this last summer I was cleaning the windows and when I tilted one in the bar that attaches it to the sliding mechanism inside the track broke. I reached out to the installer and provided pictures of the break, he stated he would reach out to Climate solutions for a replacement. after several weeks I was informed that Climate solutions would not be honoring their warranty stating that it was user error? I can mange to properly open and close 25 but I get it wrong on on #26? this was a sight unseen assessment. Eric the warranty manger was argumentative, rude and unprofessional and would not allow me to buy a replacement window at my own expense so that I could have a functioning window. the check cleared, their product failed and now they wont stand behind their warranty. that warranty should've come in a roll on a cardboard tube because that's all its worth. run far and run fast terrible company people to deal with read more

So far not good. I purchased an entire house of windows via our general contractor. Two large windows have failed. The corners actually separated and the resulting cracks are allowing the outside weather into the house. The failure happened the middle of this past winter. We noticed because the rooms were unusually cold. Climate Solutions sent someone in April to do a temporary repair. The repair has now failed and the windows are not yet replaced. Since the repair failed, water is entering the house again and causing further damage. Climate Solutions blames the builder for faulty installation and the builder blames Climate Solutions. Neither one wants to pay for the repair. The have put the homeowner (me) in the middle of their problem. Very frustrating. After much conversation, Climate Solutions has agreed to remake the windows, but they tell me that I must support the cost of the window removal, replacement and all of the associated repair work (siding, drywall, etc.). This conversation is in progress. I will update this review once the situation is resolved. In the meantime, read the Climate Solutions warranty details closely or you will find yourself in the same place I am today. So far, very disappointed. read more

First off I have to say that the windows are great! I spoke to Michael about their windows and installation. He informed me one of their highly qualified dealers would take care of the job. Once the order was placed for 2 patio doors and 2 bedroom windows it took about a week for the dealer to do the install which was quick and very professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! read more

I was looking for windows for quite a time We need to replace all 15 in our last year bought house I`ve been in Pella Showroom in Oakbrook - left all measurements and contact info NO response, Home Depot - no costumer appreciation - waste of my time And had one guys come to my house. I`ve decided to try some local business and go with Climate Solutions. I walked into showroom - nice display All employers were so nice, nobody attacked me as soon as I walked thru doors Their knowledge was outstanding and they provide me with all the tips and helped me with understanding how it will looks like They custom made all orders. Best of all price was good and waiting time for 15 casement windows was 10 business days!!! read more

back in 2012 i had a garden/bay window installed in my 3rd floor condo. the window was manufactured by Climate Solutions, installed by Americraft Exteriors. The double paned window appeared cloudy after a year or so...I thought it was just dirt. In December of 2014 the dirt didn't go away and MOISTURE began collecting between the panes, I knew something was wrong. My neighbors across the hall had the exact same window installed not long before I had mine done...and there was absolutely no problem. I called Americraft and they referred me to Climate Solutions as the window came from them. This was January of 2015. they sent out a guy who said it was a broken seal, the window was under a lifetime warranty and they would order a new window. the window was ready back in May of 2015. I have been waiting ever since for the window to be installed. Climate Solutions said they only manufactured the window and they didn't do installations. Americraft said their warranty was for a year and had long since expired. I have been in contact with CS since May. They keep saying it's a tough job because they need to subcontract an installer with the appropriate equipment. I am still getting the runaround. I sent a letter to them stating that if the issue was not resolved by the end of September...today is October 2nd....I would contact the BBB. Well, now they had found the equipment but that's as far as it went. Americraft recommended a glass installation service (which I believe was the guy who did the original work) and I sent the info to CS. Nothing. They are still "working on it". I told them that I felt it was NOT my responsibility to find installers/equipment as I do not want to void the warranty using someone CS did not approve. So here, October 2nd, TEN MONTHS AFTER I CONTACTED CLIMATE SOLUTIONS I sit, again, waiting for my call to be returned. To be fair, I should have pushed harder for this repair sooner, but I was naive in thinking that they, as a window installation company, would have had the answers and the "solution". I was so very wrong. While everyone I've spoken to has been very nice, Climate Solutions Windows and Doors as a company is ineffective at best. Windows are their job. You'd think they'd have a better handle on this. I am more than frustrated. My next communication will be to the BBB. I would NOT recommend Climate Solution Windows and Doors for any kind of service. In February 2015 my husband and I purchased 22 Climate Solutions Windows from Nu Concepts: 10 casement windows and 12 slider windows. Our primary goal in replacing our existing windows was to decrease road noise. These windows DO NOT quiet road noise, chirping birds, barking dogs, etc. After being promised by Nu Concepts that these windows would significantly reduce outside noise from infiltrating our home, and going ahead with our purchase, we learned that these windows have not been tested for sound control. They do not have a STC or OITC rating (STC and OITC ratings are standard with large window manufacturers such as Anderson, Marvin, Jeldwen, etc.) I would strongly recommend avoiding these windows if you are looking to reduce noise from outside. Our salesman from Nu Concepts also strongly emphasized the energy efficiency of these windows. As for energy efficiency, we have been disappointed. We can feel cold air leaking through all 12 of our slider windows. We contacted Climate Solutions about the air leaks. They sent out a technician who put some stickers over the weap holes on the interior of our slider windows and claimed this would solve the problem. It has not stopped the air leaks. Nu Concepts admitted to feeling air leaking through the windows and claims that this is normal. Finally, after installation, when our windows were still brand new from the factory, we found over half of the screens on the windows were loose and bowed, and many of the windows needed touch-up to scratches in the vinyl. Again, a technician was sent by Climate Solutions to fix the screens and scratches, but in my opinion new windows should not be sent out with so many flaws. We question the quality control at Climate Solutions, and we will never purchase or recommend these windows. Our best advice, do not let a salesman fool you, do your research, compare brands from multiple companies and get the best quality window you can afford, as this is not a purchase you want to make twice. read more

I just replaced 12 windows with Climate Solutions Double Hung windows in my house and so far they are fantastic. The quality is outstanding and the pricing was affordable. The windows slide with ease when using one hand and pop out easily for cleaning. I did a lot of research and I wanted to buy locally. I am glad that I chose Climate Solutions. I would recommend these to anyone. read more
