I have the orzo pasta which was absolutely fantastic and there was sausage inside of it. I appreciated all the fresh grated Parmesan on top. I've heard a lot of amazing reviews of Clio, despite its very recent opening. I was so glad to get to go with some girlfriends for a Valentine's Day lunch during the week. The vibe inside is so much fun, very unique and Mediterranean feeling. They did an amazing job transforming this old wheatfield's location, it was hard to picture of what it used to look like despite being in there several times! The service was great, everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. The food was also amazing, very vibrant colors so every plate looked exceptional before even taking the first bite! I will say, I will not get the beef kebab again. The texture of the beef seemed to be across between beef and sausage, very high fat , different than pieces of straight beef that I expected. This could be a personal preference, or that I am not used to this style of cuisine in general, so it is likely not the fault of the restaurant! The sides all tasted amazing, the rice in particular had an excellent flavor, as did all the vegetables on the side. I wish I had three times the serving of these side dishes! I was also able to try the four spreads, and these all tasted great. The goat cheese was our favorite! The texture of the pita bread was soft and warm, perfect for dipping in the spreads. We came on a Sunday about 9 minutes after they opened and were told it would be about a 1.5 hour wait for our party of 3, or we could sit at the bar immediately. So we sat at the bar and enjoyed it. The salad was great, I loved the large cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and feta cubes. The chicken kabobs were ok, and the rice that came with it was also not my favorite. I would return but likely try something different. The inside is cool very Mediterranean inspired and all of the employees were nice, even offering to keep an eye on my luggage while I ate dinner at the bar since I was in from out of town and came to dinner straight from the airport, which was nearby. This is my new favorite restaurant in all of Omaha! This hidden gem is located in the old market on the corner of Howard and S 12th street-there is lots of parking nearby on the bricks. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time because this place gets packed around dinner time and there is limited seating. The receptionist warmly greeted and seated us and our waiter was so friendly and welcoming. We came during happy hour and ordered the crispy potatoes and hummus from that menu before ordering the chicken kabob entree. Portions were generous and the flavors of their spreads and veggies were mouth watering and the marinade on the chicken was to die for. I also ordered a Fig Sour to sip on and it was absolutely delicious! The cherry on top of this incredible experience was the ambiance-such a cool modern take on contemporary, Mediterranean decor. All four dips were delicious, but I think the Labneh was the best for cool and refreshing taste while the Muhammara was best for spice and crisp flavoring. We have been eyeing this place for a while now and finally got an early dinner reservation for my birthday. The appetizer with the 4 different kinds of dips was a knockout. The pitta bread was my favorite part of the meal. The turkish dumplings were good but i wouldnt order again. The cilantro with the bite of the meatballs was what made it good for me but there wasnt enough. A sleeper dish was the dessert. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the sticky toffee pudding was. Every bite needs those extra little bits of toffee they sprinkle on there. The lamb was tender and fell off the bone, the dips were all delicious but don't underestimate how much they can fill you up, and the eggplant was a great addition too. I ventured here again with my mom and sister, and it was just as fantastic as the first time. This trip we also had the rice fritter, which I think is my new favorite savory dish here. Wow. I'm disappointed in myself for holding off so long. Admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of going to new restaurants that are this hyped up but I'm happy to admit I was wrong. Clio was fantastic. We got there around 630 on a Saturday, hoping for a small table or walk in spot for the 2 of us. Luckily there were 2 spots left at the bar that we snagged without wait. I started with the fig sour and my husband got the Negroni. Incredible. I could get an entire jug of the fit sour and it still wouldn't be enough. We both couldn't make our minds up so went the route of getting a bunch of items to split. The first round were stuffed dates, falafel and crispy potatos. The dates were perfectly cooked - just enough where they weren't very chewy but they still retained their form and sweetness. The sweet was offset perfectly by the sausage inside. As for the crispy potatos, wow again. The nuttiness of the pecorino went perfectly with the za'atar seasoning. The falafel was super crispy on the outside and the perfect consistency on the inside. The herbs mixed in with the chickpeas was fantastic. I only wish they gave more tzatziki because it was so creamy and fresh! We ended with splitting the salmon kabob, which I regrettably didn't take a picture of because it was sooo good. The plate was stuffed with rice, seasoned fresh veggies and hummus and I opted for a side of pita to round it out. Everything tasted so fresh. The salmon included, which was herbascous, lemony and perfectly cooked. Overall, this place was worth the hype and the money. We'll definitely return. read more

Each was so unique and full of flavor. Everytime I eat falafel unfortunately for most places I compare it to Amsterdam my gold star example. The falafel wrap here honestly was better holistically. Great ratio of ingredients. Plenty of falafel. The best part was the bread they used and how it all stuck together. I saved some for dinner and it held up!
