Did a job out here in Copake, and was hungry, so we stopped off here at the Clocktower Pub & Grill. Immediately the surf and turf hamburger caught our eyes. Hamburger topped with shrimp and all the fixings. Never thought about making a burger like this. What a great idea!!! Had to try it. The waitress asked how do we want it. Medium. It came out with some sort of seasoned fries that was fresh and hot, crispy and tasty. I take a bite and the flavor and juices run down my beard. Very tasty burger, and perfectly cooked the way I wanted. It was a pleasure eating here. It was empty cause it was 3:00 in the afternoon. Not lunchtime not quite dinner. But still very nice atmosphere and good food. Gonna come back again when I'm in the area. Gotta try out what other creations they have. Highly recommended!!! read more

Had friends visiting from out of town, and after reading the reviews was eager to try it out. We were not disappointed, everything from the warm greeting from the sweetest English bar tender/server to,the burgers were top notch. We all four had burgers of different variations and they were superb. The server (can't recall her name) distinct English accent.. was excellent on so many levels. We settled the tab, and sat there chatting since it was a quiet rainy Saturday afternoon. She came over (we thought she was gonna oust us for over staying since the bill was paid and we weren't, she says no problem and offered us dessert. We had four different ones and each was also superb. We will definitely make Clock Tower our go to place. read more

Food here was really, really good! They recently opened up following COVID-19 closing. There were 5 of us visiting the area and in need of something to eat. We all placed our orders and were expecting a "decent" wait time (given our size). Surprisingly our meals came out quickly and was not lacking in flavor. The main thing we all commented on was how hot the food was. It was steaming hot and that's not a bad thing. It's great! Oftentimes we expect food to be cold, sitting out on counters as all items are being put together, but that was not the case. We appreciate that about the Clock Tower Pub and Grill. Good food, great service, great options, comfortable dining. Still relatively new to the area, Clock Tower Grill is finding its comfort zone and getting in a nice rhythm. My family and I stopped in for the first time last week. We were greeted with zero enthusiasm by an older woman who looked less than pleased to have to offer us a table. Our waitress was very nice. But extremely over extended with too many tables. The menu was limited and had very strict instructions for no substitutions. A big warning sign that stinks of inflexibility. Wings were solid but only came with 1 piece of celery and 1 piece of carrot and no blue cheese Samosa was good but smothered in sauce so it became soggy instead of crispy and delicious. Dinner. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken. Salad was too big with institutional dressing on the side and they did not have any anchovies. Chicken was way too small a looked like it had been boiled. It was very rubbery, Most likely institutional as well. Not good My wife ordered fish and chips. Fish looked like it came out of a box from the grocery store. Veggies were terrible. A Mushie mess and kind of grey, That soaked the fries. Totally gross. My son ordered pasta with Alfredo sauce. He doesn't care but it looked like a gelatinous mess and tasted like it was from a can. Was too big. All together. I was pissed that I'd spent $100 for a dinner that was terrible. I want all new businesses to do well and I'm usually consider myself pretty flexible. It's rare that my family and I agree that the meal was no good but this was. I complain about too big because restaurants that struggle with flexible menus and mediocre food often try to make up with adding more to the plate to compensate. Bad plan. If I didn't eat it there cause it was bad - I'm not going to eat it later thinking it's going to get better. Suggestion- work on presentation overall from greeting to leaving. Look at the plates and say "how does this look? Would I eat this?" read more

Came with a large party and the waitress was pretty challenged. The bread served with dinner was excellent. As to the appetizers, the wings were some of the worst I ever had. They tasted gamey and they were served with a Korean chili sauce that was really tasteless. The banana poppers were horrible. They were fried bread with some tasteless cheese . Entrees : the hamburgers looked a mess but they tasted ok. The fries were good. The steaks got mixed reviews. Thumbs up on ribeye, thumbs down on strip. The fettuccine alfredo was passable and the fish was good. And from the looks of the chicken parm, they should take it off the menu. We were on the pub side as the grille was not yet open. We popped in around 3pm on a Sunday and they had only a pub menu at that time. Their lunch menu is available for until 2 I think, and the grille is only open after 4, but the limited pub menu is available all day. The burger was really good. It was served on a brioche bun, my favorite and the only respectable bun to serve with a burger. The steak fries were battered, I think, very tasty. The corona-battered fish and chips was also excellent. Rico and son Jordan were friendly and talkative. They have maybe 10 beers on tap and what looks to be a complete bar. I was in town visiting my parents and didn't expect this! Clean, fresh, new. I had tikka masala and the meal was authentic. Basmati, tikka, curry, perfect level of spice. I'm convinced there's an Indian chef back there. The naan was Bartender with scruffy beard/ deep voice very attentive and friendly. The menu is reasonably priced. My wife had the strip steak ordered medium rare and from first bite to last was as ordered and delicious. I had the Shrimp Fra Diablo and oh how spicy it was. My mouth was burning and I needed three glasses of water to finish this very tasty dish. Tell the waitress to tone it down a little unless you want it that way. Next time we go it's the Shrimp Marinara instead. The portions are large and most customers took home doggy bags. I finished off my wife's steak leaving over some mashed potatoes. We went Friday evening and wasn't too crowded which was fine for us. The owner comes around afterwards and can talk your ear off. Nice place. Always friendly. Too bad the owner, who also owns the Sunoco gas station next door, is not making his employees behind the counter or stocking shelves wear masks. This is the best bar/grill in New York. I come here all the time! They have the best beer and wine selections, and the food is amazing too! The burgers, especially. The dining room is very well decorated, and the pub area is pretty cool too. It has 3 Televisions, and all the latest sports. There are 3 pool tables as well. It's a lot of fun. Dining area was uncomfortable and cold the food was very mediocre. I ordered skirt steak which was not cut correctly which made it tough and it was drowned in black pepper. I was very unhappy with the fact that you have to walk through the bar area to use the bathroom which was dirty and the door would not lock. There was an obnoxious highly intoxicated person trying to force the door open after repeatedly being told someone was in the bathroom while I was trying to help my small son in the bathroom. I had to hold the door shut and yell at this person while trying to help my child. I will not recommend to anyone for dining and I wont return. read more

Stopped in today after a long drive. We had the pretzel nuggets, they were great. The bar is pretty big and open which was nice. Great atmosphere and great prices. Only downfall is that shots were served in plastic cups. I understand plastic cups when it's super busy, but not when there's only a few people in there. Great selection on alcohol ! read more

Went to the Pub side of the restaurant. The place is a hidden jem for the area. Clean and fresh.Service was excellent from Bar Manager. Try a drink from the specialty cocktail menu.
