Absolutely the worst customer service. I called to book and received a text message to book instead. I sent my information with the booking details of the day/time and service that I wanted. After numerous messages, they kept asking me what service I wanted and for what day yet I had already stated. I repeated myself and was told it was impossible due to COVID. U was told I had to book More in advance. I asked what exactly about the regulations due it so I had to book so far in advance and is they were not allowed to book for august, I was met with extreme rudeness and unprofessional responses. Then they laughed and threatened to write a review FOR ME and Ben I said they had terrible service and would write a review for them and cancel.

Shitty company that needs to be shut down. They take your money without permission on cards they saved on their file. I would not recommend dishonest thieving company very rude an unprofessional. The few people giving this company good reviews must be fake.

I was on hold for 20 minutes (10min each time) out of the 22minute call.

I booked a last minute appointment around 11AM for ASAP appointment. I told Karina, the receptionist, I had to be out of there by 12:45. She said she would try to arrange and call me back, which she did. She managed to get me an appointment at 11:45 - which I think was excellent and very accommodating of her. But, she did asked me for my credit card # (I thought probably she just want assurance that I would show up since it's a last minute appointment - understandably); she told me that I would be getting a "Swiss Resurfacing" facial for $127 and assure me I would be out of there by 12:45pm. I arrived at the spa just before 11:45 - the esthetician didn't get there until 12pm. While waiting for the esthetician to arrive, I looked at their menu. When I looked at the menu, I saw the "Swiss Resurfacing" facial is for 90 minutes treatment. And I clearly told her that I only had one hour for the treatment, well, in this case will be 45 minutes because the esthetician didn't show up until 12pm. So I thought, if I pay $127, I should get 90 minutes treatment instead of just 45 minutes. I told her that because of the time crunched, I should only do the "Swiss on the Go" facial - a 45 mins treatment - for $88. She called the esthetician, and she kept trying to re assure me she could do all the 90 mins treatment in 45 mins. When I said, no, I would do the Swiss on the Go, she asked me to add some additional mask treatment for $60 and she would take $10 off to compensate her tardiness. I began to get irritated by then. I told Karina the receptionist, can she tell the esthetician to get here an discuss the treatment after she sees my skin?? Isn't that what they normally do at any other spas?? Instead of trying to convince me to get additional treatment. This is a major turn off for me. It's like she doesn't want to do the treatment unless I spend a lot of money. When the esthetician finally arrived, I found out she's the owner of the spa. She apologized for being late - apparently she was in New Haven running errands when I called. I thought it was very accommodating of her to do my facial at last minute; but I can understand why since she's the owner of the spa. Irena,the owner/ esthetician, did a wonderful job on my time constraint facial. She managed to clean all the blackheads on my nose, which is why I desperately needed facial on the first place, in less than 45 mins treatment. Irena is very nice, professional and very good. She's very proud of her business and works very hard for it. Now the question is, will I come again? I don't think so. Reason being, for the price, which is almost the same as other much more upscale spa; Cloud 9 looks a little bit tiresome. The place doesn't look fresh. And I agree with what I read on the reviews, the robe doesn't look fresh. Will I recommend this place? For facial, absolutely yes. Irena did a wonderful job. I just like a more upscale looking spa if I spend same amount as upscale spa for treatment. Total I paid was $150+ including $15 tip (sorry, not being cheap but wasn't too impress of the tardiness and being overly pushy on agreeing to take more treatments before even analyzing my skin) $88 + $50 mask less $10 discount + tip. read more

I had a bad experience a few years ago but when I received a $50 off email for my birthday I figured I'd see if they had gotten any better, what a waste of my money! First off my appointment was at 11am I arrived at 1045 to find the door locked and the lights off. Confused I tried to call( FYI they never answer their phone) only to be called back five mins later to see "if I forgot about my appointment". I told her NOPE the door was locked and was like omg I'm so sorry come one over now. Expecting to be greeted with an apology I sat in their tacky waiting room for almost 5 mins until the massage therapist came out and laughed about not being able to find her shoes(like wtf?!). As we get into the room she had me sit in the corner while she complained about how the person on the previous night didn't do his job and now she had to change the sheets(like really?!). So I get undressed and the room is DEAD quiet as she says the internet is down and they don't have music. But don't worry about five mins in she turned the fan on because she said she was going through menopause like seriously lady (it was 30 degrees outside). She proceeded to tell me about her kids, her divorce, her haircut all while I CLEARLY did not want to have a conversation during my massage. HORRIBLE I would never ever recommend this place even if they were giving out free massages. read more

I have a similar story to the other reviewers. I had been warned by several people not to go to Cloud 9 but Groupon had an extra 20% off massages so I purchased 1. My appointment was for today at 11:30 am. I arrived at 11:15 and the place was closed. A few minutes later the massage therapist arrived. She didn't have a key so she messaged her boss several times. Finally at 11:35 the owner arrived. When I entered the owner asked if she could help me. I told her I had an appointment at 11:30 and it is now 11:40. That set her off and she started yelling that my appointment was at 11:30 and she wasn't late and I could reschedule. I said no, I was here and so was the therapist was ready to start. I followed the therapist into the treatment room as the owner is following us and yelling to the therapist to come out she had to speak with her. I could hear the owner yelling and when the therapist came back in the room she was crying. I felt so badly for her. Needless to say it was not a relaxing experience. I did complain to Groupon and they refunded my purchase price. I will never go back to Cloud 9 nor can I recommend it. read more

The whole experience at Cloud 9 Spa was horrible. This was my first time. I had received a Groupon voucher for a spa package as a gift. When I first walked in I was waiting for several minutes at an empty front desk with no one to help me. My actual massage was fine from the therapists, but once I finished my package, I was given fees to pay that were constantly being changed. When I was being explained what these charges were for, service charges percentages were changed from 3% to 4.5%. My sister had come with the same groupon package weeks earlier and was charged a different price and they couldn't give an explanation as to why there was such a difference in price. They also keep telling me to charge the tip on my card with the other tax and service charges. I wasn't given an option of how much gratuity should be left. I was constantly being told that I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about. Terrible customer service. Other family members have gone and had terrible experiences each time. Safe to say we will never be going back there and neither should anyone else. read more

Worst spa ever! I bought the Swiss resurfacing facial on a living social. In k,.the day spa menu and in the living social deal, it clearly states that it includes a 30, 50, or 70% medical grade peel. The owner refused to do one b/c apparently a client has to be on their skin line treatment for two weeks before getting any peel! What!?! That makes no sense! The only reason I bought this was for the peel! The living social was also only for new clients! Why would you choose this facial for new clients? Then as I sat through the facial, annoyed and angry, she gets me even more fired up by telling me that she can see why I wanted a peel and that I could upgrade and purchase one! Is this lady for real? Unbelievable! Beware! Do not go here and do NOT buy the Living Social from her. I dealt with the owner herself, Irena. She is a scam artist! I reported her to living social and filed a complaint too! read more

I bought a groupon for a Swedish massage. It was the worst massage I ever had. Sarah was painfully rough, and when I asked her to use lighter pressure, she told me "some people are more tender than others." That did not help the fact that instead of relaxing, I was anticipating the next blow. My arms were bruised the next day. I told the receptionist that I was not happy with my experience. The next day, the spa called me and offered me a complimentary 30 minute back massage. I figured that was very fair, and I would give them a second chance. I made my appointment for today. I went there a few minutes early. The owner was at the front desk. She informed me that I had no appointment, was a trouble maker, and I should leave, or she would call the police! I barely had time to say a word as she was yelling at me to get out! I promptly left, as she was exhibiting extremely bizarre behavior. Stay away from this place! read more

Horrible experience! I contacted cloud 9 in Milford after seeing them on groupon for an hour massage. I figured with a price that I couldn't beat that it was worth trying out. When I called the spa to try to make an appointment they told me they could squeeze me in today, last minute, but that I had to pay them over the phone. She did say she would let me pay the same amount as groupon though which was ok with me. When I told her the price it was on groupon she would not honor the exact price groupon had today (they had some sort of additional discount going on) that she would honor their usual price. As I went to reply saying although I do not understand why the full groupon price can be honored that I would still pay the few extra dollars since they can get me in today. Before I could finish my sentence I was hung up on. I tried calling back and kept getting the voicemail and then finally when some other woman picked up, I said how I had just been hung up on and was speaking with someone about making an appointment and she asked if she could put me on hold. After 10+ minutes on hold I tried calling on my house phone while leaving my cell on hold. The number was busy, which was when I realized they must only have one line. I hung up my cell and tried with my house and again got no answer. I waited about 10 minutes before trying again and finally reaching someone. When they answered I asked if the manager or owner was there and if so if I could please speak with them. They kept asking me why, even after I said I didn't want to give an explanation, and then they asked if they could put me on hold. Before I could even answer they put me on hold for over 6 minutes. Once they finally picked up again they asked how they could help me. I said how I was on hold to speak with the manager and their response was asking me if I would like to book a massage. I said no thank you I would like to talk with a manager so finally they said she was busy and asked for my name and number. I asked for hers as well, she gave me the name Stephanie, and then I asked if I would be guaranteed a call back. She told me I would but she doesn't know how long until I will get a call, and then tried asking again why I wanted to speak with her. When I finally said it was due to my experience earlier today she told me the manager will try to get back to me. I said try? You just told me I was guaranteed a call back. She then asked to put me on hold and I said I would rather you not because I have been on hold twice today and one time no one even came back. She then said well I have to go because patients are here and I said that's fine you asked to put me on hold, I'm not sure what for. She asked if there was anything else she could help me with and before I could even respond she hung up the phone again. I am guessing experiences like this, as well as others on here, is why their groupon price is such a steal. It's not worth the hassle or disrespect. Everything was handled very unprofessionally, and that was all only over the phone. I can't imagine how they act in person. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! The owner is beyond rude and highly unprofessional. Long story short, booked two appointments together for facials and massages. When we got there we had to wait 20 minutes past our scheduled appointment time to even be taken into the "waiting area." Once in there we realized that only one person would be getting treatments at a time, so the other would have to wait almost 3 hours to get their treatment. When I explained to the owner that this was not what she said over the phone she got highly offended and proceeded to tell me that all spas work like this, only one person is seen at a time and it's not my fault I don't understand how things work then she walked away from us. I then told her we would not be having anything done and want a refund (because she makes you pay with a credit card over the phone when booking the appointments) she got extremely mad and was not refunding me due to my lack of understanding. She then told me she could write down my credit card info and call me in a few days because she can't do refunds at this time. I finally had to call the police on this woman to get my money back. Her employee even sat there while the cops were there agreeing that the owner was out of control and wrong. She also told us that she was the only one there and there was no massage therapist there that's why we both couldn't be seen at the same time. read more

This was the most unpleasant experience I have ever had at a spa. This place is as unprofessional as I have ever seen. I had purchased 2 days of beauty from a barter company we use for a day of spa treatments for my daughter and I well in advance. When we arrived the owner was frazzled and totally unprepared for us. When my daughter started her first treatment the person doing her mani\pedi told her she had never actually done one before. She complained to the owner as this person was doing a horrible job on her and the owner actually had to take over but complained to my daughter that she was to busy. The owner and the person then had words in front of my daughter and apparently she left. I was then told that none of my treatments could be done because the person who left was the one who she scheduled to do all of our services for the day!!!! We were shocked and so angry..we then had to leave after planning this mother/daughter day for months!!!! The owner was supposed to call me to straighten out but of course never did!!! Even if she did..I would NEVER step foot in this place again. I wasted over $1000 of my barter $$ on this. I have seen many other horrible reviews on this place and totally agree with every one of them!!!!! read more

I must say I agree with the terrible reviews. I too was left in a cold room for 18 minutes during a facial without any explanation as to why-the owner doing the facial simply said "just one moment" and was gone for 18. The treatment was bad and when I declined an upsell, the owner became offput. The facility as a whole appeared dirty, and the glass I was given water in had someone else's lipstick stain on it. I also noticed the strong odor of cigarettes upon her return after leaving the room (having a sensitivity to strong odors or scents of any kind due to migraines, I am extra sensitive to such). As I read terrible reviews, I notice the aggressive, rude and confrontational manner of the owner respondent, rather than being recalcitrant or apologetic. This is an abhorrent establishment and I will continue to discourage others from ever going there. It is my hope the person responsible can improve her business so these type of reviews stop and she can remain afloat during these difficult economic times. read more

They still accepted my gift card and thankfully so as I decided to go for some relaxation and skin preparation for my wedding. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful and relaxing. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind and answered any questions I had about anything. She was super sweet! She literally walked me backed explaining their process because it was my first time being there. Everything was clean and clozy and they have a waiting room outside the immaculate bathroom with multiple, private showers and very homey-feeling restrooms (it's a whole room with a door that fully closes - no stalls or anything of that nature) and even little benches in the bathroom so you can rest your belongings there. After changing into my luxurious soft robe and slippers (think croc material, good for cleaning) I waited in the relaxation room before being individually called by my esthetician/therapist. She walked me to my individual room, complete with a sink, massage table, another bench, plenty of hooks and closets for their supplies so they do not leave throughout the treatment, except to get you a glass of water at the end . She explained everything to me and inquired about my routine and skin type and kept politely checking to make sure I was comfortable throughout the experience. My therapist was Jada Lynne and although I selected "any therapist", I was very happy with her approach, kindness and informative knowledge that I will definitely select her on purpose next time. From the facial to the lower legs and feet treatment PLUSH arm and hand massage I felt EXTREMELY relaxed as I lead a busy lifestyle and that is sometimes hard for me, I was very thankful for the good vibes and peace she radiated. As she led me back to the relaxation room after the Tranquilty Signature Facial I felt so relaxed and honestly a little disoriented in a good way. I rarely treat myself to anything and this was just that, a real treat. I sat for a few minutes, drinking water and tea while soaking up the relaxation and did not feel rushed at all, by anyone at any time. Everyone was so nice and they have a beautiful selection of merchandise/skin care/natural little odds and ends in their lobby as well. Thank you Tranquility Wellness Spa, I will definitely be back very soon! Although I live Easton, the experience and service I received will keep me coming back for more!

She started throwing out dates in June ... and July .. for me to come in to use the coupon. I then said " I genuinely am just looking to schedule a massage. I don't want any trouble" because I could sense this was spinning and spiraling. She again stated the "coupon is for the weekdays only". I hung up and tried to cancel my Groupon order. I was able to cancel the order, but now I'm stuck with 'Groupon bucks' instead of getting a refund to my card. What an AWFUL 30 minutes. This was so unnecessary and I'm not going to use Groupon again. You know why? These business owners are resentful and angry at customers who buy them. If you don't want to provide the same level of service to a customer buying Groupon, then DONT CONTRACT with them. It's not fair to punish hard working and sincere people looking to save a few bucks.

First and foremost, my therapist Joan is absolutely amazing. She is kind, professional, and truly talented at what she does. I will genuinely miss my sessions with her, and it's unfortunate that situations like this hurt therapists who are doing everything right. Due to a financial hardship following a car accident (which is also the reason I've been receiving massage therapy), I needed to reduce my membership. I was told I could place my account on a 3-month freeze and still use my accrued sessions by paying $20 instead of the regular $80. I agreed. Because it's so close to the holidays and money is tight, my card didn't go through when they attempted to charge me a second time in the same month. When I called to understand why, I was told the $20 charge on 12/14 applied to November, and now another $20 was being charged on 12/22 for December. While I can understand the explanation, it does not change the reality that I simply don't have extra funds available right now. I asked if I could cancel my membership and be reimbursed for the services I've already paid for. I was then told my account is on suspension and that nothing can be done until I pay the additional $20. So essentially, I'm being told that to access or recover services and funds I've already purchased, I must first pay more money toward an account I'm trying to cancel. To make matters worse, the manager was not in today. The front desk associate told me she would send an email explaining the situation and that the manager would call me tomorrow. How is it that there is not a manager readily available, the way there is at virtually any retail or service-based business -- especially when dealing with billing disputes and hardship situations like this? This entire experience has been absolutely ridiculous, inflexible, and incredibly frustrating. The lack of compassion and proper management completely overshadows the quality of the actual massage services. Experiences like this drive loyal clients away and unfairly impact the therapists who work so hard and genuinely care about their clients.

I am an extremely busy working woman and look for the best in everything. If you want an amazing facial and want to improve your skin, Irena is the only one who can do so! I have not seen anyone better in CT, MA, or RI. I took a few moments to write a review because while perusing the website, I was shocked at the poor reviews. I have no idea where they are coming from, but I would suggest they revisit both Cloud Nine and their review. She was very friendly and gave me a fantastic manicure! My manicure is still perfect a week later, which is the longest a manicure has ever survived the constant hand washing and cleaning involved in my job! I love the relaxing atmosphere at Cloud Nine Day Spa and my Blue Oyster Pearl manicure! by echo_hill I live in Stamford CT and will drive all the way to Milford for my facials with Irena. I have had facials done all over the world and in very expensive spas and she is by far the best. I have been coming here since she opened and used to visit her little spa. Cloud 9 Day Spa is a quaint little spa where you feel at home and relaxed! When you walk in you are greeted and brought to awaiting area where you are offered an array of beverages! You have to fill out alittle paperwork but in a relaxing area, you are then greeted by your clinictian and once your in your room you are explained each treatment that they are using on your face and away you go, I had a great expierence, once I was dressed and walk to the front to pay I was offered some products that can keep my skin going strong till my next facial, and as in EVERY spa I have been to they made me aware of the offers and specials they have for that month, some may feel uncomfortable by this but it happens at the best of Spas! I would prefer that they all be wearing some what of a uniform ie.(white t-shirts/lab style coats/Polo Shirts with the Spa name and black pants) so I can tell they work there!! I was a bit confused when I was approached by a staff member that looked like a client! the music was soothing they had a nail and pedicare area that looked less than alive! I didn't see one person doing nails or pedi's on a Saturday which leaves me to believe they don't have a regular mani-pedi staff member which I would have loved to have done rather than go elsewhere to get my mani-pedi! but I wasn't aware they did Mani-Pedi's till I seen there list of services! I don't normally do reviews, but feel compelled to spread the word about this place. Cloud 9 Day Spa is an absolute GEM! Exactly what I've been looking for in a spa. Irena (the owner) is absolutely incredible! She aims to make the entire experience as relaxing and pleasant as possible, from the moment you step in the door, until the moment you float out. Great location, clean, comfortable and peaceful treatment room, skilled therapist and an overall relaxing experience. Five stars all around! it was the best massage/facial that I have ever experienced. The facial was done by Irena (the owner) she first greeted me with tea and pleasant conversation. She listened to my list of body aches and skin concerns. Then she did my facial. Days of sleeping with my makeup on were erased from my skin. Irena unclogged my pores, leaving my face soft and glowing. Days later, I still look good without makeup. I will make this a monthly ritual! I then got my massage from David, a male masseuse, and he was great. Ladies, don't feel uncomfortable about getting a massage from a guy. David was professional and courteous! I have chronic back pain and was praying for even a little bit of relief. Lo and behold I left feeling new and refreshed. Customer Service Review: I had a 60 minute massage booked for April 13th, my original appointment was for 2:30 but I received a call April 12th saying they are really busy and asked I come in at 3pm instead and they would upgrade my massage to a hot stones aromatherapy massage for 90 minutes instead so I agreed. I got there at 3pm and still waited an hour before my massage. My massage lasted for 60 minutes and the not 90 minutes I was promised. I mentioned that it was supposed to be a 90 minute massage but they said they had forgotten and I had to play back the message for her, so she booked me for the following Saturday at 2pm for the additional 30 minute massage. Come Saturday as I'm on my way to my appointment I received a text at 1:49pm saying the massage therapist is running late and to come for 2:30 instead. It was frustrating. Although I must say the employees are indeed very friendly. Location Review: The new location has a lot of natural light and the light curtains don't shade that light from coming into the room so it was very bright and didn't have that dark room relaxing feel. I feel compelled to shared a "Perfect Date Plan" that I created last week and most likely will become part of a regular ritual for me & my girlfriend. It was my girlfriends Bday & we decided that more than just going out for dinner, she could use a little extra break away from stress at work which has been driving her absolutely crazy. She'd already been to Cloud 9 and loved their facials, so we decided I would get her a massage for her spc Bday gift. In a quick 1 min walk we found an easy parking space in the lot in the back of the building, behind Archie Moore's restaurant. She went off for her massaggie, and I loving microbrews found comfort just a few doors down at SBC. She met me right after, and then we had Bday dinner anyway, right above the romantic river stream in the back. All I heard over dinner & all night long, was how great she felt.....over & over! After getting home.....the favor was returned.....we both felt great! Not to be dirty, but it was a win-win for both. She's still on her high, and I'm sure that this treat will be repeated again & again. read more

If I could give this a zero I would. I have been to many day spas around the globe and have to say this was by far my worst ever spa experience. It was so bad that I cannot possibly think about anything that would ever make me go in their. My wife and I got a couples massage as a gift from someone and went there. The sad part was our friends had nearly the same experience when they went. They gave me the male therapist (if you would even call him that) and my wife got what looked like a recent flunk-out from your local massage school. My "therapist" was coughing the entire time, his hands were trembling and it was by far the most awkward experience I've ever had. My wife left feeling more tense than before she walked in there and the service and decor there was laughable. This place is a dump if you are the owner or manager and see this you should take action because this isn't the first person saying or feeling this way and bad reviews spread fast. read more

I bought a Groupon $79 for a 45 min facial and 1 hour full body massage (amazing deal!), after I made the appointment I decided to look it up on Yelp for reviews and immediately regretted buying this Groupon with all the negative comments but I went anyway because it was too late - well I am glad that I didn't cancel! I don't know what these people are talking about OR maybe the people at Cloud 9 read their reviews and decided to fix the things that people were complaining about because I had an amazing experience, Amy did my facial she is AMAZING, my face was glowing so much that my friend bought the Groupon after she saw me and my massage I forgot the guy's name but he was great - they even use hot stones on you without any additional charge for both services. I am not sure what experience these other people have had but either they are super picky or the people at Cloud 9 cleaned up their act, either way - I'm definitely going back. read more

The name of this Day spa is CLOUD 9 not A 1 Beautique, unless she recently changed it out of embarrassment of people leaving reviews about their horrible experiences and how she doesn't like to pay people, or out of embarrassment that she had an ex-employee standing outside of her business the other day with signs because she refused to pay her (which apparently she isn't the first person she has done that to). If she can't handle peoples opinions about her business, and how they had a horrible experience then maybe she shouldn't deal with the public! People have the right to their opinion it's called freedom of speech/ freedom of press. Just because its not a good review you can't accuse them of slander and threaten to sue, be a big girl and own up to it. I have been to many spas throughout the years and when it comes to that you stay with a place you like. I live in middletown and drive 45 minutes to receive my spa treatments at cloud nine. It is absolutely worth the drive to get the best of the best. The environment is incredibly relaxing and the staff is responsive to your wishes and needs! I suffer from acne and have tried everything possible to man and have spent major $$ in doing so. A little over a year ago, I discovered cloud nine and started with facials including detox, medical peels, and microderm. It has been a slow process but effective one. I just perused other reviews and the negative write ups clearly have an ulterior motive...It is so sad when competing spas try to do this... "The decor is laughable... " what 'married heterosexual male' going for a couples massage is looking at decor, using a groupon, complaining about the tip and belittling a woman. Thank God he is off the market. The decor is adorable-- charming and lovely. Irena, the owner is "the Bomb". No one knows skincare better than Irena-- she is the best with a tremendous following of loyal clients. I have been going to Cloud 9 Day Spa for 6 years since Irena was still on New Haven Ave. in Milford, CT I love the microdermal facil my skin has never looked better. I have used thier product line and love it!!!! They have worked out the kinks with a growing business I love the serene feeling while there some other reviews say that the staff doesn't interact during a facial I say who wants to talk during a facial abd i have noticed the change in staff and for the better I must say! I have been going to Cloud 9 for over 12 years and I have had the best experience each time. It is a very clean and well kept facility and the employees make everyone feel welcomed. I have tried many different facials but my go-to is the microderm abrasion which leaves my skin feeling refreshed and youthful. I receive many compliments about how nice my skin is and how I look very good for my age due to the treatments I receive from Cloud 9. I get the microdermabrasion with an add on 30% chemical peel. I have had such amazing success. I love how radiant my skin looks and feels afterwards. Ireana gives one of the best facials I have ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable about her profession. I have had several wonderful massages there also. However,that being said I am always very clear as to what type of massage I like. I prefer a lot of stretching and deeper pressure .The owner always makes sure that I get a massage therapist that suits me. My issues/concerns are ... They use lotion from a jar which is very unsanitary for them to dip their fingers into this jar w/each client. They don't use paper coverings for the face placement on the table & I can't help but feel they don't wash all of their linens after each client. The masseuse instantly starts the deep tissue massage prior to 'warming' up your muscles. The worst part about my experience today is ... I tipped 20% & the woman @ the desk tapped the counter & asked me to put an additional $5 down. The fact that I tipped 20% is irrelevant in this situation. This is such inappropriate & unprofessional behavior. Once she saw the shock look on my face, she smiled as if that softens her inexcusable request. Unfortunately, I will never go to this business again & will recommend others refrain as well.

To make the most of my appointment I usually spend a minute or two discussing with her the key areas to focus on as well as noting anything I'm noticing healthwise such as migraines or sensitivities. She takes them into consideration and will spend extra time addressing certain pressure points to release tension. The sessions are very calming because she takes her time and doesn't rush. I like adding the aromatherapy and also the music and privacy of the space. She uses appropriate pressure and is comprehensive in addressing all the aches, knots, and stress of the week with a well-paced flow that allows me to enter a really deep state of relaxation. I've already referred friends to her and they are all quite happy as well.

I saw more than three different price sets for the same service between: their website, the board at the front door, and the fliers in the dispenser on the front window. According to their own website being a first-time customer I should have gotten an hour for $50.00. She charged me $65.00 plus tax equaling $70.00. Then I was pressured into giving a higher tip after giving a tip. If they have changed their hours and prices, they need to get it all uniform between all their different platforms. No one likes to show up and have a business not be open when they say they'll be open but to be charged higher price than is listed on multiple places is an insult. If anything she should have given me a discount based on the fact she knew I had called and was waiting there for awhile for them to open. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience. I'll update if anything changes.
