I come here often and love it. I buy the 10 pack of 1-hour foot massages when they have them available and it makes it $40 instead of $50 per massage, which is a great price! Make sure you bring cash with you for a tip. My favorite therapists are Jenny and Mia. Most of the therapists don't speak a lot of English but it's not a problem. If you have something extensive to explain, I'd recommend talking to the receptionist first to make sure they can get it communicated to the therapist beforehand. Also, if you're doing the foot massage, be sure to wear shorts or pants that can easily be rolled up as well as a short-sleeved, loose-fitting top so they can get their hands in there when they do the neck/shoulders. read more

Alert! This is not a "foot spa". Over the phone I made a one hour appt for a "foot massage". They brought me into a dark room with many beds and told me to lay down. The attendant then proceeded to massage my arms, legs and scalp with oil while I had my clothes on. Very weird. She finally got to the feet for maybe ten minutes. When I tried to tell her not to touch my scalp but do my feet, she couldn't speak English. When I checked in there was a sign that said tips needed to be paid in cash AND they suggested $20 tip as that was "market". Well a 20$ tip on a $50 massage is 40%! Obviously won't be going there again and I would suggest checking this place out before you make an appointment. read more

I have been a customer here for years and recently received the worst foot massage of my life here after having spent hundreds to buy a package in advance. Spoke to receptionist about it and she took notes. Manager followed up via phone to attempt to argue with me rather than apologize for the 15 mins shaved off my service and the extraordinarily rude behavior of the therapist. The manager did not focus on a solution or on apologizing for the ruined experience. Eventually she recognized this was not a helpful approach and apologized for arguing with me. She said that she would refund the service to my package. It has been several days and no credit has appeared on my account. I regret purchasing the package and do not recommend patronizing this place except with extreme caution. Definitely do not lock yourself into a package. What this experience tells me is that once they have your money, they do not care. Save yourself the headache of a potentially poor massage and an uncaring therapist. Buy one service at a time if you do not have other options. Very disappointing as I have been a patron for nearly a decade and had reasonable experiences previously. read more

I have never written a review for a massage place, but I am doing so today for cloud 9. My masseuse, Amy, was wonderful. I thought she wasn't going to be great, and the previous reviews about her might have been mistaken about her, because she started massaging me with her forearms which was weird for me. But then, something magical happened and she was able to get all the tension in my upper back, the pain in my lower back released. She even got the muscles in my calves to relax. I absolutely enjoyed the birthday massage that I treated myself to at this location, and the price was right, which to be honest, was the main reason I chose this place (in addition to all the great reviews). The one thing I would say is if you come a from the back route would be to not follow the sign that says cloud 9 on the fence because I ended up in a parking garage next door. The massage place is within a building with a dentist, and you want to go to the parking lot that says dentist on top because that is the correct area. Otherwise, you'll get weird looks from people, and its difficult to get out from inside of the garage with so many cars parked there. read more

Visiting from out of town; I've been to multiple foot spas in various cities and this one ranks in the top 3. I booked a 40 min foot / 40 min deep tissue with William and it was glorious. First off, the spa is clean, well kept, and large. Often times, these are set up in tiny spaces - not the case here. The linens they use are clean and smell good (also not always the case). Even the restrooms are clean which was appreciated. William did an amazing job and worked really hard to get as many of the knots out of my back and shoulders as possible. I left feeling so much better than when I arrived. The one thing I'll say that could be less abrupt is how pointed the receptionist is when you're checking out and she asks "did you tip William?" A little more tact in this might go over well. Thankfully, I'd read the email confirming my appointment where it said to bring cash so I came prepared. If I find myself back in Houston, I'll be sure and visit here again. read more

However, I understand tipping for services but it's optional for a reason. there's no requirement to do so and the front desk staff should feel the need to try and educate people on what the standard is when a tip in general is being left. If you're in need of a therapeutic massage (work out knots/pains), I highly recommend Cloud 9. I alternate between the 60-minute Swedish and the 30/30 body and foot massage (I love the latter when're you're feeling lazy, because you go to the communal room and don't have to take off your clothes). I usually prefer female masseuses, but William has become my go-to masseuse. He always greets you with a genuine smile and gives a really firm massage. He always seems to give 120% effort to his massages. Go to a high-end spa (Houstonian, Fiori) where you pay 3-4x the amount for the ambiance and to be tickled. Go to Cloud 9 for a massage. read more
