What to say about Cloud Naan? Great name, instant plus. My friends and I love getting Indian food, so when choosing a place to host out reunion dinner, what better place than a local Pakistani spot? I arrived about 20 minutes late. Parking wasn't that much of a hassle, there's plenty of parking on the side street. Walking in, I was expecting to see my friends sitting down waiting for the food, but they were split up, with some at the tablet, others at the table. I was confused, even more so after hearing they hadn't even ordered yet. Apparently they were having difficulties with the Family Feast deal. Something with the drinks. Apparently you can only get up to 2 mango lassi's, but the (clearly AI generated) menu image showed four. Just concerning drinks: the mango lassi's we did have were yogurt heavy, and less mango. And it showed in the color being a paler yellow than we were used to. Wasn't sure if there was free chai or not, that was not explained. Also, the jug in the room (with cups next to it) is just for decoration and not actually for water to our disappointment. We went the whole meal without water. The food was fine. The chicken biryani had great flavor; we are used to spitting out the bones, but this biryani, especially, not only had lots of bones, but bone shards as well. They are generous with the naan, but they are really thick and on the softer side, almost like a pita. It was quite one toned at times; I would definitely recommend getting dishes that are not all the same protein to mix it up. The side salad seemed like an afterthought; sad-looking in general. Also the decorations were nice and colorful, but I wish they were playing some kind of music. At times it felt very silent, especially for such a vibrant setting. In the end? Not "Cloud Naan", but maybe "Cloud Four or Five".

Cloud Naan was a 10/10 experience! It was our first time trying Pakistani cuisine and this was the perfect place to get our introduction. The interior is decorated in such a fun and inviting way, with little touches of outdoor Pakistani design. My favorite were the colorful umbrellas on the ceiling and little wicker stools around the restaurant When you arrive, you can order from their digital kiosk for dine in and take away My aunt and I got their signature Pakistani dishes beef haleem and chicken karahi...the latter being our favorite. And we didn't skip out on the carbs...we ordered garlic naan, beef naan, plain naan and paratha. All we're stellar The staff is extremely lovely! The owner came up to every table to welcome us and our server Tanya was so kind and attentive We will definitely be back to try more of their dishes soon!

The Vibe: A colorful, fast-casual hidden gem with unique seating options, including platforms for sitting cross-legged. Easy side street parking and the service was quick since it's a self order kiosk then they bring the food out to you The Standouts: Massive portions for all the dishes.The Chicken Tikka and Naan are fantastic. The Biryani is enough for two meals. Elite Tips: The staff is incredibly kind; they even brought out free appetizers while we waited. Expect a 15-20 minute wait for food because everything is fresh.

I have been seeing Cloud Naan on my Yelp whenever i''m looking for somewhere local to eat and it caught my eye because i've never seen it before. I came for dinner and wow!! Everything was so yummy. I also got a Mango Lassi to top it off :) You order at the self-order kiosk, grab a table, and they bring the food out to you. The staff is so sweet and checks up on you to see how you are liking the food. I highly recommend coming to try Cloud Naan if you're in Carson or nearby!

Cloud Naan was a spot I heard about from a coworker, so a few of us decided to check it out for lunch and it did not disappoint. We ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan and rice, and the portions were huge. Honestly, two orders were enough to feed our group of seven. The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, and pairing it with the garlic naan made it even better. The naan was so good that it disappeared fast -- definitely recommend getting at least one per person if you're a fan. Ordering was simple through a kiosk, and the food was brought out to our table pretty quickly. The service stood out too, the staff was really friendly and even offered us chai while we waited, which was a nice touch and made the experience feel more welcoming. The ambiance was great as well. The space is nicely decorated and has a warm, inviting feel that makes it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. Overall, this is a great lunch spot, especially for groups since the portions are so generous. I'd definitely come back again.

Today I had lunch at this hidden gem in Carson. It's a Pakistani restaurant specializing in BBQ. I had the mutton combo which came with a huge naan bread and salad, and some samosas. The food was delicious and had a little spicy kick. The naan was delicious as were the samosas. It's nothing fancy and there was ample seating in a colorfully decorated restaurant. I think they mainly have a lot of take out and deliveries as I was dining alone at lunchtime. I would love it if they ever had a buffet which would introduce people to their various menu items or a combination with different offerings. The service was friendly and they refilled my chai tea which was complimentary. I'll be back to try the other barbecue items.

We were really excited to come here after seeing the reviews and craving food with South Asian flavors. The food itself is definitely carrying the review. Food: 5/5. Absolutely delicious butter chicken, garlic naan, and chicken tikka. They are not shy with the spices--each dish was PACKED with flavor. The butter chicken has just the right amount kick, the chicken was delicious and tender, and was a huge portion. The naan was the perfect texture, large serving, and wonderfully buttery. The chicken tikka was pretty spicy, but tolerable, and tender as can be. The servicing size of this specifically I thought was a little small for the price, but we accidentally ordered so much food that it didn't matter lol. Mango lassi was a delicious sweet pairing to counter the heat. Excellent consistency, super refreshing. We came on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. There were 2-3 parties aside from us. I didn't really enjoy ordering from the kiosk, I prefer speaking to a server about the food and getting their insight on certain things. You do have to pay before you get the food, and if you're including a tip you add that before ever getting served (if paying my card). Felt a little backwards. Service: 3/5 and that's being generous. I will give grace because it looked like there was only one person serving the whole restaurant. But silverware and plates weren't set (eventually they brought us some in a stack and we had to distribute it to ourselves), we had to grab our own drinks from the fridge (they didn't tell us, so we sat there for 20 min before realizing). And we weren't checked on except for when they brought something out. And the food, although outstanding, took about 40 min to arrive the table. That's a long time for any restaurant. I don't know how many chefs there were, maybe they were swamped with takeout but there was only a couple other people in the restaurant. Maybe it was just an off day. Decor: Outside looks rough, but inside is nicely decorated. A hidden gem as some say. NO air conditioning though, he warned. It was pretty warm but they had fans going so we tolerated it, but barely. All in all, give it a shot if you want some delicious food! Would come back again, for sure. The food itself was worth it. Great meal and plenty left over for later!

The food was delicious! The portions are surprisingly huge! We ordered the butter chicken combo, samosas, jalapeño cheese naan and beef keema naan. The jalepeno naan was BOMB, we didn't know how much naan to expect so we ordered the beef one. Both were great but definitely get the jalepeno cheese one! The butter chicken combo was such a great deal! The portion is plenty for 2. It was savory and had great flavors! The dining area was so cute and pretty, we were glad that we chose to dine in instead of takeout like we originally planned. The service was friendly and our server was really sweet. I would definitely come back and bring friends to try more of the other items!

We were looking for something different to eat and came across a review of Cloud Naan. We decided to try it and we're we blown away. Everything was delicious!!! The food was perfectly seasoned with plenty of heat. The Butter Chicken was so good!! And the BBQ!! Yep!!!To calm the heat a delicious Mango lassi was served. The Garlic naan was huge and delicious and let's not forget the sauces. This place is a must.If you're in Carson, come try some Pakistani food. We're doing fine on Cloud Naan!!!! Oh by the way that picture was after we devoured almost everything!!!

Called to place an order for carry out and they played in my face. Butter chicken should have been $20 each but they charged me almost $28 per !!! AND WHAT IS THAT SERVICE CHARGE, I literally picked up my own food. I used to come all the time but I'm never coming back, robbed me in broad daylight. So sad. Update: The owner reached out to me privately to rectify the situation. He apologized and made it right; I was inappropriately charged. I've updated my review based off his timely response. I will be back because the food is amazing and service is always great. Final update when I return !!

Very flavorful! I'm a sucker for restaurants that offer a warm, cozy vibe while staying open late and Cloud Naan delivers. So the service is a bit DIY; you walk in and there's a huge digital screen where you place your order. After that, it's self-seating. So, it's a mixture of a restaurant and fast-casual. For example, you receive your food on metal bowls/plates but then your utensils and cups are disposable. If they elevate the experience a bit to offer metal forks and ceramic cups, I think it'd make everything just a bit nicer. Anyways, I think first-timers should order from the Combo section. We ordered the butter chicken combo and the mutton karahi combo and I believe it's enough to feed roughly 3 people. For the value you get, that's pretty darn good IMO ($15 + $19 by themselves, but we added on the kashimiri tea and garlic naan). The mutton karahi was AMAZING. I've never had this Pakistani dish, but oh my goodness. Super flavorful and tender meat. My biggest gripe is that there's bones--which isn't unexpected, but there were some instances where some bones were broken off and made tiny little shards. Definitely be a bit more careful when eating this. The butter chicken was also great; just as you'd expect as other spots that serve this. The salad was perfectly seasoned and everything wasn't too spicy. I loved the ambiance; there's a few low tables and a few regular-height benches. The entire place is decorated really well and it makes the place feel more vibey. There's even a Carrom table, which was being played by another party. Next time I'd definitely want to try playing it! Overall, I'd definitely come back. The food tasted so good and I want to try more of the menu.
