One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I have been to in a really long time! I highly recommend Laith Mediterranean to anyone looking for fresh, flavorful, and authentic Mediterranean food. We tried the Gyro Wrap and the Beef Shawarma with Basmati Rice, Cucumber Salad with Feta Cheese, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions are incredibly generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and you can really taste the care and passion that goes into the food. The service was also wonderful. The owner was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It was great to experience such a warm and personal touch while enjoying a fantastic meal. If you're in Carson you need to eat at Laith's. If you're in The SOUTH BAY you need to eat at Laith's. Drive there, walk there, take a bus there-- it's that good. If I'm here it feels like a real treat; the shawarma wrap is nice and doughy, the meat is always so juicy and generous, the pickled veggies have justttt the right bite... it really doesn't even need anything extra but I stand by their sauce recipes it's SO tasty. I really try not to eat out too often but holy cow I've never had a better shawarma AND had such warm hospitality-- the couple are so kind and friendly. Every time I go there's a smile and you never feel rushed. Pictures don't do this place justice -- you just need to try it. I've frequented Laith's a few times now and can confidently say their food is consistently amazing each time. With it being located in a strip mall along Carson St, people will overlook it but do yourself a favor and swing by. This spot is such a hidden gem and there are seldom Mediterranean spots in Carson, and I am grateful this place exists. I love getting the Beef Shawarma Wrap with hot sauce and garlic sauce, the meat is cooked to perfection and the flavors are on point (plus the servings are very generous!) Got the Cucumber Salad and the Chicken Shawarma Wrap (hold the pickles). Everything was delicious. Fresh ingredients in the salad. The mild acidic dressing helped balance the richness from the feta cheese. The pita was nice and soft. The meat was seasoned well. Putting it all together (with the lettuce, tomatoes and garlic sauce) makes for a tasty bite. Also, it was a good-sized wrap. The hot sauce does have some lingering heat. Service was super friendly. Absolutely amazing and consistent Mediterranean food. Owner Laith pays attention to detail and consistency of food for each customer. I've been here twice and loved it each time. Laith's is located in the Carson Bonita Plaza and is very easy to park in. The storefront has inside seating but is also a good grab and go spot. What sets them apart from others is their food is number one really flavorful, they don't use a meat rotisserie cooker, it's freshly made to order the meats. They also have Date shakes which are very healthy and shake that most businesses don't serve. I'm a big beef guy so I got their beef shawarma plate the first time I went and a beef shawarma wrap the second time. The flavors in the wrap were mindblowing. The pita is very very good along with their hummus. Their hummus hands down is one of the best and I'm not just saying that! Laith also recommended the Falafel which I've never really enjoyed before. Here at Laith's it was great, very crispy on the outside and soft in the inside and it wasn't greasy at all. We finished the meal with their sweet Baklava, so good. It's a small establishment with just a few tables and, at the moment, no wait staff. The owners, a husband and wife team, were very friendly. They are the chefs and also take care of the customers, which gave the place a very welcoming, personal feel. The vibe is more fast-casual. You can order on a tablet or place your order directly with the owner. The menu isn't very extensive, but everything we tried was really good. Came about this little hole in the wall while I was at the smoke shop next door. A customer in line asked if it was any good and the smoke shop employee spoke highly of this place so I had to try it out. Only to find that same customer from the smoke shop there as well! I believe they just barely opened and the interior was sleek with a good amount of sitting area. Laith was kind and apologized for not being able to take our order as he was busy in the back but not to fret there is a touch screen to place an order yourself. Ordered x2 Beef Shawarma Wrap, Cucumber Salad, x2 Garlic Sauce and the Chocolate Maca Shake. I've had my fair share of Mediterranean cuisines and I can say everything was delicious! We were in Carson and decided to look for a Mediterranean food spot. We lucked up and found Laith's just a mile away. When we walked in we were greeted by one of the really nice owners, he walked us through the menu and made recommendations. We decided on the shawarma chicken and beef combo plate with rice, cucumber salad and hummus. There's a seating area with tables and chairs. We wanted to enjoy the food while it was hot so we sat there; the food was fresh, delicious and the portion was huge! I typically can only tolerate a spoonful of hummus but Laith's house made hummus was creamy and flavorful, I couldn't help but to dip my pita in it. The chicken was my favorite but I'm bias because I'm not much of a beef person. The falafels were good as well. I was bummed that we only ate one each and I accidentally threw away the rest of them. Hungry for a late lunch with my team after a good sales meeting we needed a place to eat and found this spot on yelp. What we encountered after was nothing short of great. The owner gave us an overview of the menu and his personal selections for us. He was spot on! I got the mixed plate of chicken and beef and it was a perfect blend of flavors! We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and the chicken shawarma plate with hummus and tzatziki + garlic sauce. I also ordered an iced fig latte and the owner upgraded my small to a large because we were first timers! The sweetest! I also love that all their coffees are made with oat milk and sweetened with date syrup. The coffee was also great and unique I've never had a fig flavored coffee before! SERVICE: 11/10 service. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. And like I mentioned earlier so sweet for upgrading our drink for being first timers! Love it! I was staying at the Doubletree and this place is across the street and I thought I would check it out. The first night I tried to go they were already closed. And it wasn't that late. The next time I try to go the guys in the kitchen were super nice about helping me understand their menu and what they offer. The restaurant is set back inside what is maybe a convenience store but it's a little confusing. It's not a full convenience store so I'm not really clear with the front part of the store actually is. I got The beef with rice, hummus, and a cucumber salad. You get a good amount of food. It is somewhat expensive at around $22. The cucumber salad is fine, but I would prefer a mix of cucumbers, onions, peppers, and a lot more feta cheese. It was just a little lacking for my taste. The hummus was really good. Could use a Tad more olive oil. The rice was fine, however, the beef I thought was where this dish really lacked. The Mediterranean restaurants I've been to traditionally have their meat on a vertical grill. It seemed like this restaurant was cooking the beef to order and it was severely overcooked. The garlic sauce has a really good flavor however it's a bit too thick. You can't drizzle it over the rice or really dip your meat in it. If they would add a bit more lemon juice to thin it out to a drizzling consistency it would be a lot better. The pita bread was good, but it actually reminded me more of naan bread than pita bread. It's also cut in small triangles so you can't really make your own wrap or Mediterranean taco as I call it due to the cut. This place is good enough if you're traveling and you want something good to eat, but it's definitely not the best Mediterranean I've ever had. read more

Went to meet my boyfriend at his job and thought to bring him something different. Not knowing the area, but knowing what he likes, I found this place tucked away in a small plaza. At first, when I walked in I thought what is this place. Kind of very simply decorated and almost unlike your standard restaurant or take away spot. I didn't catch the woman's name, but very friendly woman took my order and the owner, Laith was on the phone. However once he got off he was very friendly. So I waited to see what this place was talking about and I can say I am ever so grateful for my accidental find. I appreciate the simplify of the place as that is all it needs. The customer service and food speak for themselves. Outstanding service, excellent food and filled with so much flavor. I would without any doubt highly recommend Laiths to anyone looking for some real good food to try. Just light, refreshing and filling just the same.
