I had to spend the night at Bradley International Airport with early flight so decided to stay at the Sheraton. Stopped in at Cloud Nine Lounge around 4pm on. Saturday. Got a very delicious Cosmopolitan from a super friendly bartender. I would say that the highlight of Cloud Nine was the staff - very attentive and friendly. As for the foods- my French Onion Soup was excellent. The Lobster roll was ok but that's when compared to the lobster rolls I had in Hayanis which is probably an unfair comparison. Overall I would stop in here again if I ever spend the night at this Sheraton or have a long layover. read more

I was staying at the Sheraton Bradley airport as I had a very early flight out the next morning. I stopped in at the cloud 9 restaurant for dinner and opted for the Rueben sandwich and fries. I asked for the 1000 island dressing on the side, and my server asked if I wanted the mustard on the side too. I was a little shocked and asked what mustard.... She told me that the ruebens came with mustard. I said yes please, put the mustard on the side. The sandwich came out on toasted bread, with 1000 islands on the side and on the sandwich. Super nice staff but the food was a huge letdown. I came down around 3:40pm on a Friday and it was very quiet inside with just one other table having some drinks. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries to go ($18). It took about 15 minutes to prepare and I waited in the lobby area by the cafe. When it was ready I took the food back up to my room and the fries (although a large portion) were lukewarm and soggy. The chicken sandwich was very tough meaning that every bite I took I was chewing and chewing to the point where I just deemed it inedible and tossed it. I tried using the room phone to call down to the restaurant but no one ever picked up. Like I said the ladies working downstairs were super nice but the kitchen needs to get it together. read more

Really the food was terribly tasteless, but they were so nice and I was so hungry that it's a 3 star. The sweet potato waffle fries do help that rating. The chicken pita thing is a loser. I have no idea why I thought flying into Hartford to get to Amherst was a wise idea. Especially after my ride into Amherst decided that leaving me at the airport for three hours was an ok thing to do. At dinner time. Luckily for you there is a Sheraton Hotel attached to the airport where you will find Cloud Nine. Here you can eat, drink and relax for an hour or more while you wait for your ride! I am staying in the hotel alone. There for have no interest in sitting in their make shift room while the real restaurant undergoes renovation. They charge $2 for a to go order. Absolutely ridiculous. There is no reason for a charge to be added just because you are not eating in the restaurant as they do no charge people who dont finish their food and ask for a box this price. The food is already over priced and not something that is delicious by any standards. read more

Extraordinary dining experience. I was really impressed by the level of service. The food was absolutely fantastic, savory and delicious. I was in Hartford on business and I was so hungry, so I checked this place out for dinner and I'm so glad I did. I was eyeing seafood chowder and entree since I was starving, but it was a good thing I didn't, because the entree was of very generous portion. There are so many delicious food items on the menu and I decided on Fish & Chips(comes with fries and salad with capers). The fish(the menu indicated Cod)was good and the fries were even better. They weren't bathed in salt, hot and crispy! I love mayonnaise with my fries too!! FYI: They serve Pepsi product at this establishment. My server Dee was very friendly and welcoming. First time in Hartford Connecticut. I chose not to rent a car so I'm using rideshare or Mike and Ike to get where I need to be. After checking in hotel, I decided to walk over to the airport lounge. Btw, the hotel is attached to the airport. Lounge is very dark for 1pm in the afternoon giving me cheezy happy hour feel. I see that a few tables are worn. They should really take them out of rotation. I ordered roast beef melt with sweet potatoes and a water. Food presentation was meh. There's only one waiter. I feel like she is the cook too. Fries are hot but a little overdone. I guess you can call them crispy. Had to sprinkle a lil salt and pepper. Don't judge me. People looked limp sitting adjacent to my sandwich. Idk whether I will even bite into it. Whew. Roast beef is overdone. I should have gotten the fish and chips. read more

It's funny to get excited over a bar in the airport hotel, but we just loved little "Cloud Nine"! On a recent trip which left us with almost 3 hours to spare at Bradley we had a nice lunch (Cobb salad and Nachos over chili - standard bar dishes, but very well prepared), tried O'Doul's non-alcoholic beer (by mistake), and watched a full game of the UEFA Champions' Legue (Arsenal - Liverpool, 1-1). All the while, the bar tender offered excellent unobtrusive service and a prominently displayed wall clock kept track of time, so that we did not get too carried away and miss our boarding time. :) PS I wish we had spared some stomach room for coffee from the adjacent Starbucks - their high chairs looked so fancy and cute! read more

This bar/lounge (located inside Sheraton airport hotel) is a rip off. Do not order or even come here. I ordered a fish sandwich from my room and told them I was coming down to pick it up bc I don't like waiting for my order. It took them 40 minutes to make sandwich and I was given a chicken instead of fish bc they said they ran out of fish????!!!! She said they tried to call me in my room when I never got a phone call. The whole time I was in my room. On top of it all they charge $2 pick up. Since have you heard a hotel bar charges you to pick up your own food??? Unbelievable. read more

I would suggest against dining here for airport and hotel patrons. My meal was overpriced (though not more so than would be expected, to be fair), the portion wasn't very large, and the food was very greasy and not very tasty.
