I came here for the first time today. Everything is clean and new. I'm very glad to have a comfortable place to stay while waiting for flights at Bradley now. This was a much needed upgrade! They have one of those fancy machines that makes different kinds of coffee drinks and also dispenses hot water and milk. They also have a regular coffee machine with several types of milk- including almond milk. Food options for breakfast included scrambled eggs, pork sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese and vegetarian sausage, country potatoes, fruit and pastries. The staff here seem pretty friendly and used dishes were picked up quickly. It was very quiet when I arrived at 7:30am but it got quite crowded in here around 9am. They have two single gender neutral bathrooms which were very clean. I'm thrilled to have this new lounge at Bradley!! read more

After waiting for more than half a year for them to refurbish the new lounge, that was happy to finally go in to give it a try. Looked like it's larger, with nice amenities like a larger bar area. But unfortunately, there was no place to sit and there was a line to use the bathroom. So I was in there for all of 60 seconds and turned around and left. Probably one of the most friendliest staff that I have seen. Food and service is great. The menu here is extensive when compared to other Lounges around USA. The menu choices usually include multiple salads (corn, potato and broccoli salads), with a dessert is always there. Seating was ample and the lounge is well maintained. read more

The Escape Lounge is the only airport lounge at Hartford Connecticut's airport (Bradley International) and was closed temporarily for renovation. Thus, a pop-up Escape lounge has been set-up near Gate 21. My wife and I had the opportunity to stop-in before our flight to Atlanta, and found it to be worthwhile if you have time to spend. An unused gate area was cordoned off using temporary barriers to create a private space before a flight. Thus, the chairs and seating configuration was the same as what you would find in the other gate areas. Access was granted through our Priority Pass membership (via digital membership card and boarding pass). The staff was pleasant but a bit disengaged. Wifi is available and additional transformers were provided in front to charge your phones. It is open daily between 05:00 and 20:00. There are nearby public bathrooms. They do have separate choices for breakfast and lunch (all served cold), with fruit and yogurt and wraps and sandwiches. Uncrustable PB&J sandwiches are available during both times. Snacks were bagged chips and granola bar. They do have self-serve coffee, bottled water, white/red/sparking wine available along with Modelo on draft even for breakfast. read more

I've used this lounge a lot, but this is my first time to the renovation. I agree that the space is much nicer but access was a problem we were told at the front door that there was a waiting list to get in and we kept getting bumped down on the waiting list despite the fact that I had a platinum card. We spent some time on here before taking off. This is the only lounge at this airport and you can use it if you usually have access to other lounges. They even let us bring our travel companions in with us. Their food bar was minimal, but they did have snacks. Their bar items were complimentary unless you wanted top shelf. I didn't get to experience the full lounge since it's currently under construction but the pop-up version was cute and still helpful to have. The check in process was easy. The attendants were super nice. They only had cold sandwiches, chips, etc. (all packaged food) but was easy to pack for the plane. Also served wine (pinot noir) and beer. read more

I visited again after moving my daughter hr er out from college . I wish I could say it was better . The whole place was dirty , dishes on tables , food and crumbs on the floor . Sweet Natalia was working behind the bar and baiting her butt trying to do "all the things " as it seems like the rest of the staff doesn't care . Food on the hot bar .. was old and dry . I thought a safe bet would be potato chips but there were none in the baskets . I did ask and someone came and filled the baskets . Staff needs training on hospitality , uniform maintenance and what language is appropriate at work . I gave it another try . Next time I'll just sit by my gate as it's actually much cleaner and less stressful . read more

Small lounge at BDL. Waited with a few folks Los until the door opened at 5am. Since we were among the first to enter, the food was hot and fresh. There was plenty of food for breakfast: Eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, as well as cereal, muffins. Tried to make a latte at the machine but it was lukewarm. The regular coffee was better. This is a sorry lounge. Very tiny, hard uncomfortable plastic seats. They advertise fresh fruit there was none, nothing healthy. Food was pretty bland. The same staff member was reception, serviced the bar and bussed tables. Rest rooms were disgusting. Not a lounge I'd recommend but there are no alternatives. read more

Review: Escape Airport Lounge - BDL Airport - March 2025 Complimentary for Priority Pass holders and one guest. Otherwise price is $50 per person. I have visited this lounge several times. Lounge is small and gets crowded fast. In the early morning, the lounge is not as crowded. And you are free to sit anywhere. But the rest of the time, you are subject to a wait list and assigned seats/table, and ending up with not so good tables or seats. Food is somewhat limited in variety at times. They do have soup, salad, Mac and cheese, rice, granola bars, chips, cookies and fruits. Also coffee, tea, juices, water and alcoholic drinks. They do have restrooms exclusively for lounge users. Plenty of outlets to charge your devices Some comfy chairs but those get picked quickly. Summary - although congested almost all the time, as it is a small lounge and the only lounge at Bradley Airport, it is pretty decent to visit. I never think about a lounge at Bradley Airport because I'm usually not there for that long. Unfortunately, my plane had mechanical problems, and I decided to camp out for much of the day rather than the 1 1/2 hour travel time to get my car, drive home, drive back and park at the valet service again. The place is a nice change from hanging at a gate for an extended period. It is pleasant, bright and generally clean (including the bathrooms). If your going for the culinary experience, you most likely will be disappointed (and there are better choices at BDL). Despite JUST coming out of the kitchen, the food was either luke warm or room temperature. (It sits on what appears to be a hot plate, so I don't thing that is the intent.) the soup was commercial - not that I expected anything different - but very salty. The salmon was fine - nothing special, but not fishy. The chicken I tried was fine, but had a bit of a weird texture. The riced cauliflower, however, was the standout of all the food. The Caesar was pretty drenched in dressing. I would have appreciated some fresh fruit (even apples or oranges) and regular salad. Drinks are free. That's clearly the appeal for many. I was really there for the surroundings and lunch. The staff was friendly. That said, I cringed a little when a staff person cleaned a table with crumbs by wiping them onto the carpet. I have flown often from BDL. The place just keeps missing the mark. Never a warm welcome . Food is terrible and the place is never cleaned . What is so hard about a warm welcome and a friendly goodbye . I firmly believe that people will build a establishment and they think people will just show up . I spoke to the front desk agent and told her about there are many tables that need to be cleaned in order for people to use the table . I told her I would help her as I worked in hotels . She said no , she would grab the stuff in a min. Meanwhile she was on her phone looking at social media . She did get up with in mins but she had no intention to if I didn't say anything . Now the kicker . She starts to clean the tables . She sprays chemicals on the table vs the rag . The spray goes next to the couple next the table while they are eating . Take pride in your job, no matter if you work in the lounge at the airport, driving a truck or a manager of an office. There are 3 important factors . The restroom trash was overflowing, the food wasn't tasty, I stood at the bar for over 10 minutes before someone served me, they were out of two ingredients for their advertised complimentary cocktail, kids were running around like it was a gym, and people were having loud conversations on their phones. If you have some time before your flight at Bradley and you have an Amex Platinum card or Delta Sky Mike's reserve which gets you in for free, then think no more just walk into the Escape Lounge. If you don't have any of those, you pay $45 to walk in and $40 if you book early. They have a small setup of snacks and coffee, and a full bar where you can get cocktails., individual tables and large couches for you to relax. Everything is self serve, and there is a bar tender to make you drinks. They are constantly replenishing the food, and is kept clean. This is the only lounge at Bradley International, and if you can recommend to try it out. read more

This was a very tough place to review, because we saw such a huge disconnect between the quality of the food and the overall service. What did they do well? The food we had was excellent. They had individual dishes of spinach frittata, and I really liked mine. They also had individual dishes of a real good corned beef hash with plenty of meat, potatoes and flavor. No complaints at all. They had one of those spiffy coffee machines that whipped up a great cappuccino. Their bar mixed up a very good Bloody Mary to set the tone for our mini vacation. SO what I had was pretty good. What could have been better? We saw some real service issues starting with the reception desk. The young man was there when we checked in and he was really quite informative because we had never been here before. But after a few minutes, he was gone, and we watched potential customers stand around looking perplexed waiting to be seated. We saw some serious issues with replenishing the food stations too. We probably stayed in the Escape Lounge for 30-40 minutes and when we walked in there was just one bagel out. When we walked out, that same lonely bagel was still out there by itself. When we walked in we saw the bowl of cut fruit was just about empty, and when we left, the situation was unchanged. Signs advertised some sort of French Toast choice, but we never saw it at all. Generally, the food stations were very sparsely populated, and we saw some customers wandering around hoping for a replenishment that never came. It was my impression that the Escape Lounge is very understaffed -both up front and in the kitchen, and considering their $45 fee that didn't sit too well for me. I'm sure the poor souls that were circling the food table waiting for something to eat felt the same way. read more

Not very big, it's actually very small. The front desk was not friendly. I was sitting near front desk and she was picking her hose and they talked super loud. Louder then guests in the lunge. Food was pathetic. Workers made food and scooped some for themselves before put on counter. It's very unprofessional. Soup looked like 2 days old because the butter fat was separated form soup itself. I think I would be better served at near by McDonald's. read more

Listen... this was my first time here and Patrice exceeded all expectations. She is welcoming, friendly, attentive, and overall a great host! My Sister and I missed our 6am flight and was put onto the next available one... at 1pm. Not knowing what to do with the next 6hours, we stood in line at the Dunkin' Donuts and I noticed the lounge right across from us. I walked in and met Patrice who was so welcoming to me. If you aren't an Amex platinum holder and are a frequent traveler, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! It's so worth it! We got the breakfast tacos and seed bread. Both were great and were complimentary for us card holders. This whole experience went from sad (cause we missed our flight) to relaxed and feeling blessed to have somewhere to wind down and relax without the hustle and bustle of folks walking around. Hands down the best customer service I've experienced - ever - and specifically at an Amex Platinum member lounge. Was at the Bradley Airport in Windsor CT for travel and found myself with a three hour wait. From the hostess who checked me in to Jonathan (I hope I remembered his name correctly) who greeted me instantly and attended to everything not only I needed but everyone else in the lounge, I felt like a VIP from the moment I arrived. I actually forgot my brand new jacket when I left the lounge and Jonathan took the time to find my gate and was there before I arrived to make sure I got it before I left on my flight. Wow! I was at the Bradley Airport Centurion Lounge mid-December 2022. I was extremely disappointed in both my ability to enter the lounge and the amenities while I was there First, I've been to this lounge and other Centurion lounges on several occasions. I am an American Express card holder and was always able to gain admission. I don't travel with my An Ex cards because I have most of my bills linked to the cards and I've had card numbers scammed before. Instead I have photos of the cards on my phone and that has always sufficed. This time the person at the front would not accept a photograph of the card and insisted I open the Am Ex phone App. When I did she said the cards weren't accepted at this lounge and that I would need to pay $30! Bradley is my standard airport and I'd never had the problem before. I paid but was then disappointed in what thenl lounge offered. There were two hot for options and one was very good (chicken with some type of squash). There were some sandwiches that were mainly bun and some small salads in glasses. The chicken dish ran out very quickly after I entered the lounge. It was nearly 45 minutes before more was brought out. When it was placed in the buffet the serving spoon sat in the middle of the food so you had to reach in with your hand to pull it out and serve yourself. The coffee also ran out. When I looked for glasses to get some water there were none and the bartender was MIA to offer any, or to serve others. All in all- I really regret paying anything and felt what was delivered was sub par. read more

Spoiled by United Clubs I'd say Escape Lounge is super 'vanilla'; you know.. nothing special. Disappointed that Bradley Airport didn't have a United Club I could stay at, this lounge was all I could find where I could unwind quietly. The lounge is complimentary to all American Express Platinum Card holders, the card has to be AMEX Platinum, other co-branded AMEX platinum cards like airline credit cards are not included in the complimentary entrance. You can pay for a one-time visit, I believe it is $45-55/a person. As you as you walk in, you present your card to the front desk receptionist. During my visit the receptionist at the time did not seem very happy to be here, you know.. one of those 'resting bitch-face' type of people. It was whatev's I just came for the food and drinks. Took a look at the food options and honestly nothing looked good to me. All I saw were a few banana cupcakes and a meat and cheese platter that looked to be sitting out for quite a while. The bar had no bartender so I'm assuming it was closed. The club itself was pretty small. Complimentary WiFi is the only good thing I could really comment on. I'm thankful to have complimentary access but my recommendations for those that don't.. it's not worth a $50 entry fee. read more
