I first came to this shop weeks before their doors had even opened. I was looking for the other Vape shop down the street. I thought, "This has gotta be it, but its looks like there's nothing in here but a few people and paint buckets". I reluctantly waltzed in anyways. "No we're not open. But all juice for you is free today", said the owner. I told him what i was into and he hooked me up with a few juices that I really liked. Well they know what they are doing i thought. This is still true today. EVERY vape shop I go to has a couple juices I like alot. No more no little. I'm very picky. I also go to all my favorite vape shops when I restock and spend around the same amount of money at them all. While the staff is knowledgeable, all vape shops have knowledgeable staff (thats why they get hired) what sets this place apart, is that they are the most non-pretentious staff and the first shop in chicago to inform me of vape saftey without being prompted for any reason. other vape shops wait till they see something dangerous then make you feel foolish for not knowing what you were doing wrong: "OH DUDE WTF are you doing with those battieries??? You just pulled them out of your pocket?" or "WHOA WHOA WHOA! why are you taking the drip tank off with the battery still in the mod?" Becuase they sold it to me and just let me walk out the door. I hardly ever write reviews because I rarely have an experience that inspires me to write one. There is a first time for everything and this place has inspired me! First of all I am not a smoker and I have never tried e-cigs or vaping. I have been curious about this "vape" thing for a while though. I even went out several times with the intent to hit one of the shops in the area to learn about it. Each time I would walk by the shop and I felt too intimidated to go in. Plus many of the shops didn't look or feel very inviting. The one time I did have the courage to go in I was completely ignored by the workers. I was the only customer in the store and no one even tried to help. Uggh! Cloud Vapor Lounge was fantastic! First of all the place looked and felt incredibly inviting. The lounge in the name is well deserved! I was immediately greeted by Matt (he's awesome) and he made me feel completely comfortable. These guys can be pretty pushing about "selling" you stuff so I told him right away that I wasn't going to buy anything but i was just curious. He still spent about 30 minutes answering my questions and even brought me a beverage. I didn't buy anything that day but have since returned to get some equipment and a few juices (Ray is terrific as well). If you are curious about vaping and not sure where to go, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! You will not be disappointed! :) read more

This was one of the most informative shops that I have visited. Sasha rocks he really understands how coils work and the difference between the the build material that is inside of the coil. He took his time to explain everything to me. I will definitely be back. Thank you again Sasha. Just tested out my new rig evic vt this thing rocks!!! Thank you again for recommending this. Went back to Cloud Vapor Lounge and hung out with Sasha!! Explained that I want bigger vape clouds so we started looking at tanks with big coils. He suggested that I try a Delta 2 tank, I was skeptical until I saw the huge sub ohm coil. Upgraded to the nickel coils so it would work with my vt box. Boom huge vapor clouds tons of flavor, he even asked if he could video it because of the results. Yes please video it because I want to see it from another perspective, once I saw the whiteout I was like damn that came out of me.... The staff are fabulous here. I am new to Vaping and no previous knowledge of devices,juices, or the nuances of flavor, dosage or delivery options. I am a 30 year tobacco addict and I was looking for an alternative to help me ease the pain of withdrawal on a gradual fashion without making me an enemy to all my friends and family while doing so. Sasha was incredible. He took an enormous amount of time and patience educating me, although it was obvious that the reason for my interest was to become an ex-customer as quickly as possible. Truly professional . No effort to push the sale of any of his products. Others have posted about the great selection of flavored and seasoned juices that they carry and I must admit it is enormous and impressive, it is the quality and caring attitude of the people who represent this establishment that differentiates it from others and that will keep me as a loyal customer after I am cigarette free. read more

It looks like this place has new owners or management and there have been a lot of changes recently.  Almost all of them have been for the worse.  The vibe is totally different and they frequently don't have what I want.  They closed for 4 days to move the furniture around (??) and then I heard the new hours are permanent! I will give it one star though because there is one good change.  They offer huge discounts all the time now :-)  No need to pay full price for anything at this shop.  One guy basically starts giving stuff away as soon as you walk in the door!  It's not great stuff but its free so I have no complaints about that.  I'm waiting for the next sale so I can really stock up on stuff.  I'm going to buy all I can because it looks like this place isn't going to be open much longer. read more

The best place I ever been to since I started vaping. Which is about two months now. The staff here are really friendly and chill. They don't judge you for not knowing how to handle your products or even if you're a first time, when I went to buy my first kit. They are acknowledgeable in their products and always are willing to answer any questions you may have. They show you how to care for your vapes and let you try out juices if you are curious about a flavor. I definitely recommend anyone to come here and try out the shop before going back to your usual place. So many flavors to choose from and at pretty decent prices. Also they have a rewards program with Five Star and give out discounts and deals once in a while. So even a better reason to shop their often. read more

This place is irrefutably the best vapor shops you will ever step foot in. Sasha has always been a huge help. As a novice "vaper" stepping into the shop, I was greeted by amazing service, and the friendliest of faces. The whole staff was incredibly helpful in helping me to start vaping right off the bat. Maddy, and Sasha were super awesome and just made me feel like part of the family. Not only is the service amazing, but they also have one of the biggest, most diverse sets of juices, liquids, tanks and mods I've ever seen. Cloud Vapor Lounge, hands down has one of the best selections in the Chicago metropolitan area. They must have upwards of 60 flavors, all processed in sterol factories. They classify themselves as a "lounge", and to be honest, this is one of the few places where they actually mean it; I feel welcome. I find that a majority of vape shop employees are full of themselves and treat the customer with a certain disrespect. At CVL I am treated with the utmost in customer care and the employees are very knowledgeable on both the juices and the hardware.
