After my last marathon I needed a deep tissue massage to relieve my aching muscles. I felt amazing afterwards. My hip flexors were screaming as were my calves, ham strings, quads, It band, and any other muscle in my lower body. The slow deep pressure worked out all the lactic acid from the race and the adhesions which accumulated over months of long training runs. CloudMover did contact me after I had posted my review, and sent me two gift cards - one for each of the two credits in question. They stated I could use them or give them to anyone, so I gave them to a friend who was in town to visit. She said she was treated very well, and received an excellent facial and massage. To clear up what I posted in my original review, and how CloudMover replied as to how I was charged each month for my Locals Membership - the monthly charges were taken out of my checking account...however they were charging my debit card associated with it. Their explanation made it seem like I was making things up, and that was not the case. In the end it was still coming out of my checking account. I think they could have handled this whole situation much better, but at least someone got some use out of my two unused credits. read more

This review is loonngg overdue...my boyfriend and I got massages over a holiday weekend and they so graciously accommodated us. We were greeted right as we came in, went into a quiet room, the music was very relaxing. Our massage therapists were FANTASTIC! We had Julian and unfortunately I do not remember the other therapists name (so sorry!) We rarrreeellyyy get massages so when we do splurge we always hope it's a good experience and this visit was amazing!! Our therapists did exactly what we asked for. We are from out of town but love huntington beach so we will definitely be back to the spa when we visit again and I recommend the Spa to anyone and everyone!! read more

It's a small kinda office space that was converted to a spa place for an okay price. The first time i went there I was over charged by $55.00 without noticing. They did call me the next day and let me know that they over charged me and that the girl that did it was fired. I thought them revealing the info about the girl overcharging me and being fired over it was unnecessary and I actually felt bad for her... they kept talking down about her and saying sorry for the mistake. I wasn't mad nor did I express I was mad but they offered to refund my money or give me a free massage so I took the free massage. The next time I went I got a lady that while doing my massage asked me if I was the one that wrote a bad yelp review about them. I said no and she said that she didn't believe me and that I should have handled it a different way ( i didn't write the bad review but thanks for the idea). I thought that was over the top and if I was the one to write a bad review about my situation they should not deal with it like that. So I've never been back and will never go back. They disappointed me twice and that's enough. read more

I received leg, under arm, and bikini wax here in October and was very disappointed. The women working were friendly, but the services I received were terrible. The lighting inside of the 'spa' is low and definitely not sufficient for accurate waxing. As soon as i walked outside into the sunlight, it looked as if I hadn't been waxed at all- I had entire strips of hair and a lot of lone hairs that should have been plucked. They need windows or better lighting!!! They also could use shorter fabric strips for the waxing to be more accurate. I definitely wont return. read more

This was by far the worst massage experience I have ever had. I had a gift certificate to this spa based on the many great reviews. I arrived at an apparent busy time with 5 other people floating around in a small area, I wasn't greeted for a whole fifteen minutes as there was only one receptionist working. After filling out a form I was lead into a room. There were so many things wrong with my massage from the music to the masseuse asking if I want a pillow under my feet or not to how the cover was folded unprofessional making me feel very uncomfortable. I constantly had to ask the masseuse to lighten the pressure because I was in so much pain. For someone who gets a massage every other month, I know a Swedish massage shouldnt be this painful. The masseuse hands and forearm didn't glide across my body but rather forced across my body. I have pain in those areas I asked to worked on as though I had a karate match with someone and that I've been beaten. For all the great reviews I've read, sadly didn't get the same experience, I generally give a place a second chance but based on the experience I had I will not be coming back. read more

She is professional and her knowledge immediately makes me feel at ease, like I'm in good hands which is especially important to me after having some bad experiences! I get deep tissue massages often (near work in Riverside) so I thought I knew a lot about deep tissue message...The massage at Cloud Mover from Hector Resendey was next level. The spa is super relaxing. You definitely don't feel like you're in a strip mall. When you go inside, you're transformed to a peaceful relaxing place. Go early to sit in the quiet room before your treatment to get relaxed. The staff is very professional and good at what they do. I fell asleep during my facial with Heather. She did such a great job.
