Only got two things and I'm glad I didn't waste any more money here. For such hefty prices, I was expecting quality and good taste. Found neither of those. Tried the Cashew Chicken Pakora had no flavor, was over fried and I really had to force myself to eat past one bite of it. At $16 it was outrageous for what the dish offered. Then for an entree tried the Goat Curry. While the flavor was okay, it was seeping with oil, more pieces of bone than meat and lots of fat--which is unpleasant to bite into and then have to spit out. Near perfect meal and experience! We were a party of 8 and started with the chicken sheikh kabab. They are served sizzling with an actual flame. The flavor was also dramatic with rich burst of flavor of cumin, coriander, ginger and chilies. Next were the mains, chicken tikka masala, egg burji, chicken korma, dal tadka, basket of naan. I really don't know where to begin since it was all so good. Even the tikka masala which is usually a generic dish that restaurants don't pay much attention to, was soo good. It was a beautiful color, still mild but had a nice balanced flavor. The egg burji is like Indian scrambled eggs but hate to say that because it's so much more. It's eggs with onions peppers spices cooked like a sauté. Loved it! Even with all these great dishes, the chicken korma was a highlight. I highly recommend it! It was a slow cooked soft boneless chicken in a creamy cashew based sauce. This did have a great blend of spices with some heat but not overly spicy. Dal tadka is not on the menu but it's a staple of Indian cooking so when we asked for this lentil dish, they brought it. It's tasty, mild but hearty and good. The onion, garlic and butter naan were the best we've had, served hot and perfect! I had the guava margarita that was so good and like everything else, nicely presented. It even had a piece of fresh guava and I loved that touch. I don't know how we still had room for the gulab jamun but we were so glad we did. They could've been warmer but were soft and taste was excellent Service was attentive and accommodating. On the Friday night we went, there was a live singer, singing new and oldies hindi songs. We then asked for additional food to go and she asked if he gave us our food, and asked him if we had paid yet. I really wanted to like this restaurant but unfortunately they had a lot of misses. The papad they give us was definitely stale must've been sitting out for hours. My jalapeño margarita was not spicy at all. The Mexican Samosa as well as the vegetable shish kebab were both very bland. The only things that were tasty on the menu were the egg curry and tadka daal. The schezuan noodles were dry and lacked any flavor. The chicken tikka masala had a strangely sweet taste to it. Update: Don't bother calling to make reservations, because they don't even make the effort to write it down. Unfortunately for two years in a row, they did not have us marked down for a reservation for their valentines day special. Last time it was okay because mistakes happen, but it happened again and the workers didn't believe us/ not apologetic even after showing the phone log. We were not able to try the meals that were being advertised on their instagram. Very disappointing and I think management could be much better. read more

Sub standard quality of food and service. No value for money. I would not recommend this place at all.

The food was a delight and the drinks were refreshingly well made. Both the young chef and the mixologist have managed to maintain quality and taste. Some service hiccups can be easily overcome. Chef menu which is in addition to regular menu is an option to that was never pitched by our server. The seating was a bit of a dialogue but all ended well eventually. The dishes we ordered were made to specifications and full with flavor. The balance of spice , chili and curry was optimal and everything was served hot and fast. We never felt rushed for anything and were able to enjoy the love music (wed and Friday ). We will definitely return to try the chef's menu. One suggestion : the young chef ought mingle with the diners a bit especially if he is already out at another table. After all we went there for him and his talent. read more

Exquisite, delicious, yummy, mouth watering.. running short of adjectives to describe the food at Clove12. We were there because of the talented young chef Arnav, just 16 year old and already curating the menu for Clove12. Arnav, along with the team of chefs at Clove12, create magic. Kudos to the management at Clove12 for having the vision to let a 16 year old assist in their restaurant. I had also attended Arnav's pop-ups last year and since then have been following his growth as a budding chef and future owner of a few Michelin star restaurants. Arnav has already published his own recipes. So for starters we had Shishito Peppers and paired it with Watermelon Falsa fusion drink. Both were outstanding.. and lovingly prepared. Although Jamun shots were interesting, I preferred the watermelon drink, perfect for summer! This was followed by Fire Edamame, Batata Hara, Clove12 Wings, and Tikka Burrata, all of them unique and the flavors just exploded. Every ingredient had its distinct place and perfectly harmonized! Wings were just perfect - juicy and spiced up. Tikka Burrata was lip smacking, I have never had anything quite like it!! Then we had the delicious dish Szechuan Lifafa, tasted as exotic as it sounded and finally wrapped our dinner with Rasgulla Tiramisu and Orange Kulfi for desserts... no words to describe them because by now we were in food heaven! They basically reused the decor and setup of old establishment Urban Spice and renamed it Clove12 so no points on ambience..went last night to celebrate with entire family to give it a try. Service: they don't have dedicated servers per table so everyone is just running around attempting to serve without actual process. This is frustrating from experience POV. If you have no where to go and have time to just chill and sit for 3 hours..this is great for you. Drinks: I guess this was the only thing done right. If you're gonna waste time waiting around might as well drink. The pours weren't so bad. Food: I don't even know where to start. I couldn't believe they used dark meat chicken and burnt half their dishes to char- masala papad; stale & burnt papad with onions. Veggie dishes were all over cooked and salty. Meat dishes- poor quality meat and missed on many points on taste. At the end after waiting half hour for a check-I asked to speak with owner and basically was told they were not present on a busy weekend. read more

While I was sad to see Urban Spice go I am happy this has taken its place. Basic menu, while limited has all you would expect from a typical Indian restaurant, but done very well. All the food was fresh made to order. They have a monthly rotating menu of Indian fusion. This month was mixed with Mexican, and while I didn't try it this time, I will on my next visit. Wrapped up dinner with the most amazing orange kulfi. Normally when ordered it comes out frozen solid, this was cold and creamy almost gelato like texture.
