I had the Frappe Style Halo Halo (with coconut gel, jackfruit & adzuki beans) and boba because it sounded so fun and creative. Simply delicious. Absolutely fantastic--plus there was so much protein. Friendly, kind service, too. I went back and bought another drink so I could take it to a patient in the hospital. They put the drink in a special bag with ice, which was really appreciated. The patient, who hadn't had much to eat or drink (and needed to) drank it all and loved it, too. Island Time Boba Cafe is a great place--friendly, creative, and such delicious drinks. I'll be back. I gave this place a try off the suggestion of the yelp app itself. I debated all morning during my errands if I really wanted to give it a go and what flavor I'd even go for, but finally when I went to get groceries at Safeway I stopped in. The location is directly next to Safeway so there's ample parking. They still have a temporary hanging sign outside and sometimes offer outdoor seating. Inside you're welcomed by SUPER friendly, smiling staff and plenty of comfortable tables or couches to sit at. I was a bit nervous to try this as I'm not usually a tea or boba person tbh. The other yelp review I saw mentioned the honeydew drink so I figured I'd try it and maybe just replace the tapioca boba since I'm not a fan. When I ordered I totally forgot to ask about that but the guy working mentioned some people prefer lychee in theirs or both so I'm glad he did!! I went for just the lychee in mine The flavor was PERFECT! Exactly as I was hoping for, light, subtle but still slightly sweet, creamy, and I LOVED it with the lychee! I just stopped by yesterday but may have to make another run over today definitely my new favorite spot for drinks like this! read more

I can't drink this purple mermaid smoothie with boba fast enough! It's soooo good. Really friendly service, the and layout is and modern, with lots of options for food, drinks, etc. It's an internet cafe, I learned so they're all set up with outlets etc. Satisfied and will be back! read more

Tried the honeydew drink. While not fresh fruit, it does provide a refreshing taste on the palate. Not overly sweet, comes with regular boba (tho adding touch of honey to the boba would be perfection). Price is typical for the area. Cute lil shop decorated and fun. Owners are nice and helpful. Nice, new and clean. The staff was soooo friendly and nice. They were patient while we looked at what we wanted to order. I'm a milk tea fanatic. I love my milk--TEA drinks. However my drink was oat milk with a powdered ube mix. It was so extremely sweet and tasted nothing like tea. I was extremely disappointed with my drink. My son enjoyed his honey dew drink but did not eat any of his boba as it was chewy and some were hard. My quest to find a good Big Island boba and Tea shop continues. Tried Dubai chocolate boba frappe with kaitifi and 24K gold dust and the ube coffee cake. Very delicious! I shared some with my hubby and 2 of my kids. We finished the entire drink--boba, pistachio pieces, whipped cream and gold dust. Worth every penny! Next time I'll just buy two of those boba frappes instead of getting a food item.
