Cloverleaf is located in Saint Clair shores on Harper in a strip mall. This was my first time trying Cloverleaf pizza, and I wasn't disappointed. I took the pie to go and enjoyed it at home since it is take out only. The pizza was hot, the crust was crunchy and the toppings were delicious. This was a great pizza! Detroit square style similar to Buddy's. While cloverleaf may be small and take out only, you're missing out if you're not giving them a try. My go to is always the pepperoni pizza. Cloverleaf offers Detroit style pizza (thick crust square pizza with lots of cheese!) and they sure know how to do it right. Each bite is always full of flavor: the cheese is rich, the pepperoni is the perfect amount of crispy and the crust ... I love their crust! Did I mention their portion of breadsticks is huge? Cloverleaf has most recently been my pizza of choice when I am looking to get takeout from a place close to home! My typical order is the veggie pizza + pepperoni, without cheese. I love how it is flavorful, but not greasy. I really enjoy the bread/crust as well. Antipasto salad is great too. Haven't tried their wings yet, but would like to in the future! The slices were massive and filling. The crust was baked to perfection...not to crispy and not too doughy. The overall taste was pretty good,it reminded me of Buddy's pizza. I also ordered wings,they were pretty good as. I appreciated that they were small wing dings,my only complaint is that the wings weren't crispy enough. Wish the salad was a little larger; but considering how large the strawberry cheesecake was; now I am glad the salad wasnt bigger. The cheesecake was big enough for two & and homemade. After all the years I have yelp; (prob 20 yrs), this is the first review I have written. That's how blown away I was by this place. I lived in cali 14 yrs and had great pizzas there. We gave Cloverleaf Pizza a shot twice. The first time we ordered a round pizza. It had hardly any sauce on it and I think they messed up our order as there was light cheese as well. It was very bland tasting. Everyone said you need to get the square pizza it's so much better. So the second time we ordered a square pizza and it wasn't fully cooked. We had to put it in our oven for 15 minutes at 400 degrees to finish cooking. The dough wasn't even cooked half way. I sent an email to their corporate headquarters regarding these two issues suggesting they look into their quality control at this location. We never received a response. read more
