This grocery store is located on the SE corner of Chandler and Dobson, however, it is not located directly along the road so you cannot see it from either road. It is set back behind the Brakemasters. You also enter from the East side of the building which is farther away from the cross streets. It has a fair selection of Indian Groceries and also some prepared Chaat and other hot food for take out. See photos of menus. There may have been tables previously but it appears with COVID that it is all take out. We got the Baingan (eggplant) which was well done and mid level spicy. Bought Indian mangoes from Cloves grocery store. They sell the box closed ,so you don't know if they are edible or have gone bad . They were $40.00 for 9 mangoes - I don't mind the price if they were edible. Opened the box - they were all raw . Grocery stores are the hidden gem for many ethnic foods. Cloves is another great example. Rotating list of curries, many doasas, chatt and more can all be had to go or eat in at the hand full of tables. The mango lassi was unique with additional flavors and even a hint of salt. There is also a little lunch spot inside the market with fresh made Indian food and 3-4 tables where you can sit and eat. I did not eat lunch because I was pressed for time but I plan on going back. Stale food and most horrible service. Dont get sick eating from here. Bought an indian sweet "badushah" from there on June 30th 2021 at 6:30 pm. It had mold on it and was spoilt. It was purchased for a friend and we were really embarrassed to learn about it from them. When we called to report it, they argued saying they never sold it yesterday! TL;DR: If you are just looking to grab some Indian spices or packaged snacks this place is great and not expensive. I was surprised to find some bad reviews on here, but I did not order any food from the kitchen. Cloves was the closest Indian market to my house so I popped in to grab some spices for a dish I am making. The store was clean, tidy, and well organized. I had no issues finding what I was looking for and the cashier that rang me up was polite. I was able to use a credit card with no hassle, so I'm not sure why other people said they were pressured to use cash only. Maybe it's different if you order/pay for food from the kitchen? read more

My review is only about their restaurant/kitchen - not the store. Both the times i have gone to eat there, the experience has been a little disappointing. The tables are never clean and they're always running around - understaffed. Food was okayish. And the person managing the frontend was so stingy with a little thing like ketchup. And in the second visit - we ordered food for dine in- and kept waiting for 30 minutes. Only when we followed up, it turned out they had packed the food for to go but never let us even know while we were just sitting there. I am rating 2.5 stars but rounding off to 3. We came across new Indian grocery store in Chandler and we had to give it a try considering the number of options available in the valley. The place is pretty organized and arranged well, it is clean and tidy. They also have a small restaurant as a part of the store. We found some fresh pulses which is not easily available. One can find authentic gongura leaves (Roselle/ Hibiscus cannabinus) , thotakura leaves (Malabar Spinach) and other Indian veggies too. We also ordered samosa chat and punugulu. The service was very slow and we had to wait for half an hour get our order. The taste was average and wouldn't suggest for the wait time. Overall I am removing two and half stars for the restaurant wait time and the taste of the food. Mainly the cost of the groceries, the scarcity is understandable but hiking the price doesn't help either. Also, comparing other Indian grocery market in the valley the price is a little more on the higher side. read more

Horrible customer service went with my family and while ordering the guy said it would take more than 30 min on whatever you order very rudely because kitchen is working on catering order. Then also we waited for 30 min in the meanwhile getting some grocery stuff and then we find out they are giving samosa and pakoras without any kind of chutney. What is this , if you are taking ur time out to make samosas how can you serve them without chutney. Once we ordered Punugulu and three of the people in my family who ate it felt sick (tummy trouble) right away. Not a good experience :(. We have ordered food/snacks prior to this and after as well and the food was good - so it's not always the case that the food is bad! Recently, purchased Grand Sweets Rava Laddu. It turned out to be some other laddu. Another customer who purchased the same item, complained that it was spoilt! The store refused to refund my money even though I took the box and showed the so-called rava laddus to them - not good customer service :( read more

Hello guys, Lately I have been hearing really bad reviews on food they have in the kitchen, people from work, outside and myself. Firstly there Non-veg food ,( Meat is expired) and bubbles come out of the gravy. Secondly Veg food (Idli, Paneer, vada, Daal, Saambar) is just Awful with an A, is not fresh. I placed a food order through phone for pick up. They said it would be ready in about 20 mins and I reached the store in time to pick up the food. They said it would take another 10 mins, it wasn't even busy but I agreed to wait. After waiting for almost 15 minutes more I went and followed up. They were confused as if my order was never received. The guy at the counter told someone else took my order so it would take additional 10 mins. At this point I was really annoyed because I don't understand how someone else can take my order. After almost 35 mins of wait I got my food and it wasn't even hot.
