Club 616 is such a vibeeeee!! The ambiance is spectacular, it's such a cute and nice spot, perfect for date night. All of their drinks are so cute and tasty! They have live jazz music Sunday nights, which is really nice. The bartenders are always really nice and attentive. They also have a taco cart out back in their patio area, their nachos and fries are to die for!!! 100% recommend this place!

This is a case of "don't judge a book by its cover". From the outside, the place is in the sketchiest part of DTSA. But I'm so glad I gave this place a try. Once inside, the vibe is lively and the crowd is full of good energy. The "club" feels like an intimate lounge and opens up to a huge backyard with sitting areas and an independent taco stand, serving street tacos, mulitas and burritos. Our server Cersei was so welcoming and gave us great recommendations. I got a lychee martini and even though there was no lychee fruit, the taste was top notch. I'm usually a one-drink gal but the first drink was so good I got the "shaken not shy" with tequila for the second round- strong, fragrant and not too sweet. 10/10 would recommend.

After a lovely dinner, my group and I want to have a nice drink, within a nice lounge type of vibe. Club 616 was nearby, and we love the place. Decor reminds me of a vintage 1920-1950s type of vibe, and the wait staff and bartenders were on point! We had a myriad of drinks, but what stole the show was the "Newport" shots. They taste exactly like a minty, dark liquor, similar to Newport cigarettes- it sounds weird, but don't knock it until you try it!

I was invited to come hang out by my friend who lives in the Santa Ana area for some good drinks, food and live music. I found a parking spot a few feet from the entrance and my friend found a spot right across the street. We got there right when it opened at 6pm, and was informed live music wasn't until 8pm so we had a bit of a wait but didn't mind. We had another friend meeting us so we started with a drink. I ordered a whiskey sour and it was delicious! Our waitress was very attentive and patient. There's a taco truck out back and I ordered a chicken taco and a quesadilla. They were really good and ended up ordering two more tacos lol. As the night went on it got packed and thankfully we had a booth to sit at, so i definitely would get there early to get a good seat. We didn't stay long enough for the live music but will be back!

I visited Club 616 in December which was a lovely fit to the Christmas theme indoors with beautiful lights everywhere. The drinks were very yummy. I really liked their Moscow Mule a lot. The holiday drinks were a miss for me- we ordered 3 and I still preferred the Mule over all of them. The tacos outside unfortunately were not a hit. Which was upsetting since it was made fresh, but could do with a lot more seasonings in the meats. I had a Carne Asada burrito and nachos and was not crazy about either of them. The bar picked up around 8PM, as we were leaving and it was cool to see more people filter in and enjoy their drinks and tacos. The parking was difficult. The area did not feel the safest to walk around alone so try to find parking as close to the bar as possible. Overall I would visit again, for the pretty atmosphere and the Moscow Mule!

My husband and I went on a kid free date and happened to stumble on this gem. The ambience was relaxed but fun. Jazz music was playing and there was a live band. It was packed but not overwhelming. The drinks were delicious but strong. I was a very big fan and will be returning. We parked in the parking garage on 4th street.

This place exceeded my expectations! We came on a Tuesday night for a Tiki themed event and had the best time! When we were waiting outside, I expected the inside to be small. It is not at all! Super spacious with plenty of seating. The outdoor area is large as well, with a very affordable food vendor. Will definitely be back!

My experience at Club 616 was extremely delightful. Dan the bartender was very kind and informative. I love my Pisco Sour's and he let me look at the bottles & country of origin. A very kind gesture I highly appreciated because I don't drink Chilean Pisco, only Peruvian. The drink was excellently made and perfectly presented. My only critique is I wish it would come with a Luxardo cherry. The ambiance was wonderful & quaint. They have a nice Mexican food spot outside and the people working it were lovely. I wish they would rotate their menu & bring in seasonal specials. The doorman was very kind as well which was a kind touch. The parking is horrendous, ye have been warned.

This is such a gem of a spot! We came during the holidays so it was themed for Christmas and speciality cocktails. I tried The bartenders were very attentive for the Thursday evening being crowded with holiday pop up and trivia night. They offer food through a 3rd party in their back patio which was Mexican food, served quick and was delicious. So many drinks to pick from, will be back to try more!

super cute, great vibes, great drinks, younger crowd great to check out in your 20s!!!

We came on by for the first time. Danny, security checked our IDs at the door. Pretty good sized Indoor and Outdoor seating areas. There is a taco table in the back outside area. Carne asada street tacos were $3 each. Pretty good and somewhat spicy hot. There is a pool table, bathrooms, seating all about and a DJ. Service was appropriately performed and prices were reasonable. It was a bit cold inside and parking is along the street. You may be wandering around a bit looking for parking. We parked the street in the lot by the market. Good times with the younger hip crowd. We will return. If you are in the area give them a try.

This is my favorite bar that I have tried in Tustin and maybe even OC. The drinks here are top notch and the bartenders really know what they are doing. They handle the drinks well and use quality ingredients, ice, etc. The drinks we ordered were great. Personally, I liked the 616 Firing Squad better. It was spirit forward, but was easy at the same time. Usually, it can be super harsh (for my taste), but this one tasted delicious. The Left Hand Luau was good too. The cinnamon was so good with all of the tropical flavors. A little too sweet for my taste, so I asked the bartender if they could add more citrus juice and they added some more lemon juice to it and it was perfect (I don't like my drinks too sweet, so I should have mentioned it to the bartender. However, I forgot this time). I've been before on taco night at happy hour, and the vibes were super chill and classy. This time I went on a Saturday night and the place was poppin. Tons of people chatting it up, the live dj was playing some fun music. People were dancing in the outside patio area, the billiards table was always filled and people were chilling at the bar and tables enjoying their drinks and company. Super fun bar, and I can't recommend it enough. PARKING IS DIFFICULT. You have to find street parking in the nearby area and it's pretty full every time. Just beware and plan for an extra 5-10 mins to find a spot.

Club 616 has been on our list for a while and we finally went. They don't have a parking lot, but we got lucky and found a spot on the street only about ten cars down from the front door. I drove through the La Central Dulceria store parking lot across the street which they recommend, but the parking slots were too thin and closely spaced for my taste. They have a lot of regular weekly events, and we decided to visit on Trivia Night Thursday since we have fun doing another trivia event at a local brewery on Tuesday nights. Trivia starts at 7pm and we got there about 6:30pm and basically had our choice of seats this early. The doorman was very friendly and gave us a quick description of the bar since it was our first time here. There is a row of booths along one long wall next to the entrance, and we sat there. It was comfy with a lot of room for two people, and a good view of the whole inside of the bar. There are also tables, more booths on the other walls, and plenty of seats at the bar. There is also a pool table towards the back. The ceilings are black with string lights above, red and black wallpaper, and cool light fixtures. The vibe is great. Stop number one was the outdoor patio and food tent where there are various Mexican food items available. We got the chips and gauacamole. I'm pretty sure they are just store bought chips, but for bar food that's fine and the price was right for only $5. I ordered the asada fries which come with an immense serving size of fries, plenty of carne asada, cheese, with sour cream, pico de gallo, and guacamole on top. It was so big, I didn't even come close to finishing it all. My girlfriend had two pastor tacos which she enjoyed. For cocktails, I started out with The Lady In Red. What an amazing cocktail, I've never tasted anything like this. I'm guessing the flavor I tasted was from the Italicus liquor which I have never had, and is primarily flavored with bergamont. It had a citrusy, light spice, light herbal flavor which was excellent. I'm a wino, so the red wine in this drink added an interesting element. I hope they never take this cocktail off the menu, or can make it off-menu. She started out with the Izta The Princess. It was a well balanced, light drink with prickly pear and orange blossom gin. For my second, I ordered the Left Hand Luau. This was a good non-boozy rum based tiki-style cocktail and had nice peach and lighter passionfruit flavors. For her second, she ordered the Popo the Warrior. This was too smoky Mezcal forward for my taste, but she enjoyed it. We didn't feel like another round of drinks, but we ended by sharing the Banana Stand shot. Such a delicious shot, like an adult chocolate banana milkshake. I could easily drink a full size glass of it. The trivia style here is different than at our usual place, but it was very fun. It included a lot of different types of rounds including picture puzzles, sound clips, questions where all the answers have a common theme, and there was even a round of shark questions for Jaws week. The host was a lot of fun and we had a blast. Our server was friendly and checked on us frequently. A manager also stopped by our table to make sure we were having a good time. They rotate their house cocktail drink menu periodically, and also have special "short term" special drink menus for holidays and special occasions. We enjoyed the drinks, and the trivia was a blast. We will definitely be back soon.

For years, Hangar 24 has been a place where families can gather, enjoy great food and drinks, listen to live music, and allow their children to safely play and have fun. It has created a welcoming environment that appeals to a broad audience, and that family-friendly atmosphere is one of the reasons so many people continue to return. Last night, however, I noticed a significant change that concerned me. Instead of having the live band perform earlier in the evening, a DJ played first and the band performed much later. Many people, including myself, came specifically to enjoy the live band, and the new format seemed confusing to much of the crowd. As I observed throughout the evening, very few people were dancing during the DJ set. Most guests remained seated, looking uncertain about the change. In addition, some of the music selections and volume level felt inappropriate for a venue that attracts so many families with young children. I noticed several children covering their ears, and many parents appeared uncomfortable. From my perspective, Hangar 24's customer base is largely made up of families. Those families purchase food, drinks, and often stay for several hours while their children enjoy the outdoor space. By scheduling the live band later in the evening, many parents are forced to leave before the performance begins because their children are tired or it is simply too late for a family outing. If the goal is to attract a younger nightlife crowd, a better approach might be to have the live band perform earlier in the evening when families are present and then transition to a DJ later at night for guests who prefer that atmosphere. This would allow both audiences to enjoy the venue without alienating the families who have supported Hangar 24 for years. I am sharing this feedback because I genuinely enjoy coming to Hangar 24 and want to see it continue to succeed. I believe many guests share these concerns, and I hope management will carefully consider how these changes may impact the loyal family customer base that has helped make Hangar 24 such a popular destination. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, A Concerned Customer

After our party of six chatted over cocktails and preyed on pupus, we moved to a "secret" room tucked in the back of Stowaway and walked into a Belly Of The Beast. The founders and co-owners of Stowaway, Leonard Chan and Dominic Iapello, created this extension to the tiki bar with a wildly interesting Pinocchio theme and the famed encounter with Monstro the whale all the while serving the same offerings in Stowaway but with also an exclusive limited menu just for this adventure. With its proximity to Disneyland and its Enchanted Tiki Room, with the very niche underground-like society of tiki culture they found a consistent customer base and the thrill of island escapism through colorful cocktails, pleasurable pupus, tropical trimmings, and nostalgic know-how. How would my belly handle the beastly drinks concocted here!? PURCHASE(S) Gepetto's Last Words ($16.00): Intrigued by the cocktail's name, this elixir was crafted with Fid Street Gin, tangerine, creme de violette, lemon, and cucumber, it was a citrusy refreshing sweet drink that was decorated with bright yellow petals. It was nice, but for whatever reason it just didn't quite hit the spot. [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 4.0 of 5.0 STARS] Onion Rings ($9.00): A decent portion with rings of medium to large sizes, these were hot, dark golden browned, crunchy, and had a slight tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (sweet Maui!) rarely pulled out at times. They were lightly oily while the catsup wasn't needed but used. SERVICE While in Stowaway, we informed our male server to let us know when we were allowed to enter the belly. Once inside and situated, we had the place and bartender to ourselves. After we all perused the menu, we placed our orders, and everything arrived within ten minutes. The rest of the time was spent chatting, picture taking, and our bartender checked in on us also giving a Dole Whip taster. All was casual, chill, and somewhat on island time - aloha and mahalo! PARKING (FREE): They shared a medium-sized private lot with several other businesses who were closed at this time with plenty of spots - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE "Hidden" inside Stowaway which was located within a strip mall, the entire theme was based on the Pinocchio story, the interlude in time spent inside Monstro, and as we entered it felt like the beginning of the Disneyland "Storybook" ride as you road a canal boat into the mouth and sharp teet of a whale. There were several marionettes (appropriate and non-appropriate) that hung from the ceiling and belly walls, along with other Disneyesque memorabilia, a few sitting booths, and a tiny bar at the end of the roo. No natural lighting whatsoever while an assortment of extremely low-lit electric lights and table candles glowed. There were no TVs while I couldn't recall any background music. ATTIRE Although I was actually dressed appropriately for the occasion in an aloha shirt, linen pants, and flip-flops, this place was totally casual, so a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops would suffice. OVERALL Belly Of The Beast was an adventurous fun evening with friends, it left me feeling childlike with the need to watch "Pinocchio", and I couldn't wait to return to try more of their awesome-soundling elixirs. I generally loved all-things Disneyana, and this new wrinkle, albeit probably not approved by the mouse ears brass, caught my fancy. My one drink was tasty but just didn't hit the right spot, the onion rings were very good, the prices were a tad elevated, the atmosphere was awesome, and the service was friendly and professional. They had an extremely limited menu, and there was some doubt whether or not ordering from the Stowaway menu was an option. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $27.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
