When we picked them up one was in a kennel the other was just hanging out with the owner! They came home smelling fresh and clean and happy as could be! Prices are crazy reasonable! I tried to get my 2 1/2 year old Toy Poodle into Petco but they were booked for two weeks. This was Nahla's first time at Furry Friends. The lady that answered the phone was super nice. I informed them that she didn't like her face to be touched and her feet and I knew she would be a challenge for them. Other groomers gave up on Nahla and left her face half cut before. When I went back to pick her up, she looked AMAZING. I couldn't believe how successful they were. Her cut was a classic Toy Poodle cut as requested. I also wanted her feet cut down and they did such a great job with her. I know she wasn't the easiest client but hopefully that changes over time. I brought my 2 miniature schnauzers here a month ago. One of my dogs came home with bleeding cuts on both of his ears that turned into giant scabs. His hair also wasn't cleaned very well and was very dirty around his eyes. I decided to give them another chance and brought them back today. I mentioned the cuts on my dog's ears and asked them to be sure not to do that again. I also gave very specific instructions as far as how I wanted the length on their hair. I said that I wanted their back hairs a little shorter but not so short that you can see their skin. Then on one of them I wanted the long hairs a little shorter and his beard, which was very long, to be only 1/4 inch shorter and no more. When I went to pick them up, I was shocked to see that they didn't follow ANY of my directions. The dog that I asked for the beard to be 1/4 inch shorter, they completely shaved his beard and left nothing. I asked why it was like that and she said something like she wanted it to match the rest of him. Match the rest of him??? The groomer who did this clearly has no idea how to do a miniature schnauzer cut, AND didn't listen to my directions. The short hairs were also done way too short and I can see skin. She also said something about his ears having 2 sores on them and that's why they were bleeding last time. I looked and the sores were the leftover scab from when the groomer cut them last month! It will take more than 6 months for his beard to grow back. I've had to apologize to him for this ridiculously bad haircut and ruined beard. This ranks among the top 2 or 3 worst haircuts my dogs have ever had. I will never bring them back here. I am just appalled that they would give such terrible haircuts. read more

I'm shocked by all the great reviews, I took my 4lb yorkie here yesterday and he came out looking like a hairless cat. So disappointed, I expressed my unhappiness with the way he looked and all I was told was that since I said "a summer cut" she took that to mean to make him near hairless!? No groomer has ever done this and I'm so unhappy, and still paid for the terrible service. I mean look at this picture...first one is furry friends, second is the way he should look. 1. Love that the owner brings her own pet and daughter to work with her. It makes it a very friendly atmosphere. 2. She gets you in for an appointment quickly. 3. I have a friend who sends her dog to me from out of state for 6 weeks each year to dog-sit and this is the only place I would take her "baby" to get groomed. I know the dog will be treated well, loved on and the grooming work will be done with a high degree of excellence. 4. I had a very fearful dog I sent to her for nail trimming and she did it while I waited. I was surprised to see the change in the behavior of the dog just by her presence. The dog was not terrified at all, but calm and allowing of her nails to be trimmed with the dremel. (I tried for years only for both of us to end up in a frustrated pretzel on the floor). read more

And willing to give her a huge tip because of my tardiness. But I didn't get a chance to tell her that because they gave my spots away. Without a phone call to me saying are you on your way. This may not be the worst groomer I've ever used in 50 years of having dogs groomed, but they certainly make the short list of all time worst groomers. My previous groomer, who I had used for over 20 years, retired and I found myself in need of a new one. I was looking forward to my first visit, as my conversation with the person who I spoke to while making the appointment (who I later determined was the owner) was very pleasant and she seemed eager to address all of my requests and my concerns. When I arrived at the shop, she acted like I was invisible. I chalked it up to her being busy. After all, it is not about how I am treated, but how my dogs are treated. When all was said and done, and all the dogs were finished, I was extremely disappointed. That they were clean is about the kindest thing I can say about them. The one's who required more than just a bath and nail trim, looked like they had barely been trimmed. They all had big plugs of fur gouged out on their paws. If your dog needs more than a bath and a nail trim, I would strongly suggest going somewhere else. Dogs that require an actual cut will not fare well. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this groomer. read more

The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the lady who greeted me asked multiple questions about how exactly I would like my pup to be groomed and just the way she spoke, you can tell she really enjoys the dogs and what she does. We are new to the area and needed a groomer. Found furry friends, the staff was very friendly and place was so clean. My 14 year Westie has a longer nose and sometimes gets a snauzer cut. I asked them to do the standard Westie cut. When I picked him up, he looked like a show Westie. It was without a doubt the best groom he had ever had! I was so disappointed with this pet parlour in the first two minutes I was there dropping off my dog. My dog is 15 years old and I was told if I got her there early they would take her right away. I got there by 8:00 and the lady at the desk told me she was 9th in line. I let her know as she was taking my dogs leash from me not to pull too hard since she is a senior dog and her back legs are weak. Her reply to me was "then she better walk!" That was my first red flag then when I was asking her how long it will take since I was told on the phone they take senior dogs first in the morning. She told me I cannot tell you a time they will get to her when they finish the first 8 dogs. At that point her attitude was quite escalated and I did not feel comfortable leaving my fur baby with that woman. There were no other workers there at that time. I told her I was taking my dog back home. She told me "yes I think you should," I give this groomer ZERO stars. Worse customer service I have ever encountered! read more

Have taken my dog there twice. First experience was great, they did a great job but I wasn't there to see how they treated her. Second time, I walked in a little early, I saw them put her on the high grooming table, "security loop" around her neck, turned their back and my dog fell off the table, bouncing off the trashcan on the way down. My dog weighs 6 lbs., and it terrified her. She put my dog back on the table, turned the loud vac on, my dog was struggling and whining while being physically restrained and spoken to harshly when she whined. It was horrifying. It was more than I could bear. She showed absolutely NO remorse for how she treated my dog. As if that weren't bad enough when we got home, my dog obviously had not had sufficient water, she drank for a very long time. We are done, so cruel. We will NEVER, EVER trust them with our dog again. read more
