What a great experience! My family went here the other night for dinner with some friends. Such a great spot on the middle of a beautiful downtown. Rustic Italian vibe but modern as well, the ambiance inside was great. The staff were all very friendly and personable, and our waitress did an amazing job throughout! free parking lot is behind restaurant. ambience is nice, busy, lively. we stop in for dinner. ordered a couple of drinks. appetizers included the wedding soup, burrata, and meatballs. all fantastic and came out very quickly. entree included wild mushroom pasta and the special of the day, monkfish. as i ate my monkfish, i noticed some parts were chewy and grew suspicious. cut through the fish and sure enough, some parts of it were raw. front manager was very nice, told me perhaps its ok to have it not be thoroughly cooked. i said no, this fish should be thoroughly cooked. he took it to the chef who responded back that the dish is indeed cooked. i took pics, look at the meat, it glistens very raw unlike the cooked parts that do not glisten. will be reporting this to the health department read more

Delicious. Stopped here for lunch after visiting Walden Pond. Cute restaurant with excellent fare. The fried cauliflower was so light and airy, the eggplant delicious and they also could make the flatbread gluten free (yay!!!) which tasted amazing. Fiorella's is the warmth you are looking for with some of the best classic Italian cuisine served in historic surroundings. We tried an array of options like beautifully fresh burrata, fig and bacon flatbread, crisp and warm arancini, and goat cheese and pine nut salad. All this served up with a smile that ended up on our faces as we finished. The best part was the atmosphere of friends and family enjoying each others in what was a familiar and comfortable place for both regular and celebratory gatherings. Homemade chocolate cannoli w real ricotta filling. It is thier signature dessert. However, the husband, I intend to come back and have dinner again due to the fact that you walked in the door. All your smells are beautiful. The room is an olive oil and basil and other, type of oil, spices and herbs very small it only has. Which is wonderful. The VERY pleasant hostess asked Rick, the manager (I assume) who graciously suggested we could eat at the bar with full menu as two seats had just opened. We took advantage of that and had one of the most enjoyable evening's in a long time. My wife had the baked gnocchi and I had the haddock piccata. Both meals came out quick and were outstanding. Well this was our first time to Concord and with all the great reviews and the fact is was only a couple blocks from where we had been we thought we would give it a try. At first we thought it was hard to find until it wasn't. You know it's going to be epic when my wife opens the menu and immediately sees what she wants for dinner in two seconds. Our server was Erin and very personable and friendly. She had a thorough knowledge of the menu and several great suggestions as well. We enjoyed a Shot in the Dark and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, Arancini, Fig & Bacon Flatbread and the Braised Beef Ragu. Fiorella's is an upscale Italian restaurant in Concord. Having lost both local Italian restaurants in West Concord, Vincenzo's (albeit many years ago), and Papa Razzi, it was a great find. It's not the biggest space and some tables are close together, but we were lucky to have a corner booth to ourselves which was perfect. Our server Jackie was great and very informative. We started with a flavorful Italian wedding soup with meatballs in it, and the bread was great, some pieces cheesy and a little tub of marinara sauce too. My entrée was fantastic, with many baby clams over linguini in a delicious garlic wine sauce. The amount of clams was impressive, and the portions are great. I had a taste of the Garganelli Bolognese which was nice and rich. There's a great birthday club you can join that allows a free entrée for your birthday, so that's something to keep in mind! We love going to Fiorella's in Concord. It's such a homey Italian restaurant. We enjoy their breadstick, but you have to remember to order them for takeout otherwise they will not be included. I went to Fiorella's with a loved one for my birthday. It was a lovely time. I give Fiorella's 5 stars because there was every effort to make sure that we had a great experience. I ordered the Garganelli Bolognese which had really rich, umami flavours and was delicious. I did order more bolognese for my dish because I love a meaty sauce. My only criticism is because the garganelli is handmade it does have the potential to taste doughy if it's cooked too long which happened for me but I didn't mind it because I really enjoyed the flavours so much. I would probably swap the pasta for another kind next time. I did try the Italian wedding soup which was great and was balanced in its flavours. The service was efficient and wonderful. Our order was out quite fast and the server was really kind and helpful. This location of Fiorella's is narrow and tables are pretty close to one another, but you can still feel like you're having a classy and comforting dining experience depending where you are seated in the restaurant. Fiorella's currently has a birthday club where you can get a free entree on your birthday which is a wonderful thing as a lot of food establishments are offering less for people's birthdays, or even those who have membership programs. I really appreciate this personal touch from Fiorella's to make sure a special moment is acknowledged through the birthday club. I would definitely go back and am also really interested in trying the other locations as well! read more

It was late, Fiorella's was open, and it was a wonderful dining experience! A smaller space, it had a lively bar areaand enough seating for all their patrons on a Tuesday night in downtown concord. Servers and management staff were well informed and accommodating with regard the menu. To begin the meal, a delightful, dense flatbread is served with a fantastic marina sauce. We had a large party of 15. We made the reservation weeks in advance. They were expecting us. The hostess/manager was rude. The waitstaff ordered us to stay in our seats and "not move around". The food was ok. The ambiance was nice. But I would never recommend this restaurant. At least not the Concord location. We had to wait more than 15 minutes beyond our reservation time to be seated. The entrance way was jammed when we arrived, with tables on either side having people waiting close to the diners near the door. The restaurant was clearly full and felt crowded. Stopped here for lunch with my mom while we were visiting Concord for the first time. Our waitress was training and did a good job overall, though we were slightly concerned at first as she said she would try to get our orders right. Our food came to the table surprisingly quick. I had the braised beef ragu, and was shocked at how little sauce was over the pasta... the short rib itself was good but some of the pasta was mushy, and I ended up not finishing my plate or bringing it home. My mom had the goat cheese and walnut salad, and she said the chicken was okay but seemed pre-made, which tracks with how quickly it arrived to the table. The quality of the food, in our opinion, was reminiscent of an Olive Garden or Bertucci's, which is a shame because the restaurant itself appeared to be more upscale. If you're looking for some good Italian food in the quaint downtown of Concord, come here! We came on a Saturday evening with no reservation, and there was surprisingly no wait! The restaurant is way bigger than it looks from the outside. I like this location more than the Newton one, as it's more spacious. After sitting down for 5 minutes, the room we were in started filling up fast, and after 20 minutes all the tables were full. It can get a little loud but not unbearable. For starters, we chose the crispy Brussels sprouts. I could've eaten 3 orders of them!!! Cooked perfectly with just enough crisp, without being burnt. They come with a hot sauce, and a ranch aioli. I preferred the latter as it paired wonderfully. For my entree, I got the chicken broccoli Alfredo with gluten free penne. It was the perfect portion, so I was able to save room for dessert. The Alfredo is rich, but not so heavy that you aren't able to finish it. The broccoli and pasta cooked perfectly. My parents both got the haddock dish and loved it!! Throughout our meal, the waitress was friendly and attentive; she checked on us at least twice. For dessert, I tried the flourless chocolate cake and I couldn't even tell it was flourless! My parents had to help me finish it because it was pretty rich. This is the perfect spot for a romantic date night, 10/10! read more

What a disappointing downfall for a once proud name. Fiorella's in Newton used to be one of my favorite restaurants of all time - but now with the various expansions, things appear to have slipped precipitously. I've been to the Concord location 3x and only 1 time was it an enjoyable experience. Last time I went (a few months ago), I got the mushroom, buratta, and tagliatelle and was extremely sick to my stomach and lethargic all that night. On that same visit my wife and I got the calamari appetizer and there were more fried peppers than calamari. (person sitting next to me last time complained to the manager about the mushroom and burratta dish) Last night I got the chicken marsala and the pasta was *extremely underdone* and the sauce had almost zero flavor (another review said the same). Beyond that, you had to dig and search for the microscopic pieces of mushroom, which... are typically a big part of that dish. Again, I was very lethargic all night despite no app and not finishing my meal. Also, apparently now you have to ask for the breadsticks that they were previously famous for? TLDR - The expansions seem to have led to obsessive ingredient/portion control, and all attention from front of house and chefs is placed on turning over tables . This has in turn sucked not only all the soul, but also seemingly the flavor from this once amazing restaurant name. Service - pleasant, ambiance - nice. I tried the following dishes that some of our group ordered: Lasagna- yummy and made with their meat sauce. Shrimp scampi-good flavor and lots of shrimp. Liked that they added some fresh tomatoes Bolognese with pasta-very good and flavorful Complimentary bread with tomato sauce-delicious Peanut butter pie-delicious!!! Came here for the first time for dinner on a Monday night with a group of friends. Made a reservation for a group of 5. Hubby and I ordered the stuffed peppers appetizer, the Italian wedding soup appetizer, the chicken gnocchi fry diavolo, and the haddock piccata with broccoli and roasted potatoes. Total came out to around $70 (without tip). What's Hot - Menu variety. Pretty good. It's a simple straightforward menu- 1 page, back to back. There's something for everyone: vegetarians, vegan, seafood, meats, appetizer, desserts, and drinks. - Quality. The stuffed peppers parmigiana was pretty good. The peppers were well-stuffed with meat (don't remember what type of meat), which was also well-seasoned. It was tasty and swimming in tomato sauce with cheese. My haddock had a nice lemon butter sauce with capers. - Portions. Good decent size portions. May not be enough to get you full, so be prepared to order more than 1 dish. - Health and safety. During this time of the pandemic, all the staff that we saw were wearing masks, including those in the kitchen. No chin diapers. (ie: when your face mask is just sitting on your chin and doesn't cover your nose and mouth) - Parking. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant, where it's free. Definitely a plus! What's Not - Quality. Hubby's Italian wedding soup was kind of cold, when it arrived, which was surprising. He remarked how it tasted like it was just sitting in a pot and they ladled it out without checking the temperature. Additionally, the meatballs in the Italian wedding soup were pretty small, around the size of a penny. I'm used to meatballs in Italian wedding soups to be somewhat hearty. Kind of disappointing. The lemon butter sauce with my dish was kind of dull and not very sharp. The haddock didn't taste seasoned with salt and pepper, either. The haddock tasted fresh and didn't have a bad smell, but it wasn't well-seasoned. Our food was good, but didn't stand out. In other words, I've had better. - Service. We made a reservation for 5. We were seated at a table for 4 and they added a fifth seat at the end of the table. We were squished for space, especially when there are multiple dishes on the table. When they showed us the table, we requested they change it. We saw a couple of other round tables that would accommodate us, but the hosts refused. To be fair, they apologized for the inconvenience, but still. It's poor planning, especially because we made a reservation with a specific number. Service was ok, but lacking. Our waitress wasn't great about refilling our drinks. Lastly, after we paid, we were left alone. For me the mark of good service is when the wait staff continue to fill water glasses even after the tab has been paid. There's a nice small degree of attention that is reassuring. In other words, it's not the glaring sign of "get out". - Layout. Be careful, because they don't look like they're very accommodating for parties of more than 4. Anything more than 4 people and they're pushing tables together. - Price. It's pretty pricey. My haddock is $27. A seafood pasta is around $30. For 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, no drinks, and no dessert, a dinner for 2 was $70, which is pricey. To be fair, the food is good, but be prepared for your tab to add up quickly. The price alone makes me hesitant to return. Final Answer Pretty good, but I've had better. Wouldn't mind coming back, but probably not on my first list of choices. read more

My husband, young son and I had a lovely impromptu lunch at Fiorella's today while out Christmas shopping in Concord center. The ambience was festive, with holiday decor and the crowd was abuzz. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait but were sat in about half an hour. Our friendly server greeted us with a basket of bread and marinara dipping sauce. I enjoyed the prosciutto and honey flatbread (delicious - and huge! I ended up taking more than half if it home), my husband had the chicken Marsala with gluten free pasta (divine, he said) and my son had spaghetti & meatballs ("so yummy!"). My husband and I each had 2 glasses of Pinot Grigio and the bill came in around $80 - can't beat it! Service was excellent as well. We'll be back again for sure! read more
