And that's what Colo G&T gets . . . some huge appreciation and the highest rating possible. So what did they do to deserve this kind of recognition? Here's the story: We've got a place that requires a bunch of work on the land--like maintaining ditches, moving slash, hauling stuff here and there on pathways too narrow for a pick-up. And to do that we've got an old gas-powered golf cart that's seen it's better days. Was driving it last weekend and got a flat. Not so unusual a thing but what made it a problem is that the tire couldn't be patched and wouldn't hold any pressure. So I had to get it replaced. And since there weren't any such tires in the small town we're near I knew just who to call (since they'd replaced the solenoid in this cart just a couple of months ago). Colo G&T. They're down in south Denver / Centennial and my honey happened to be in Denver at the time and was coming up to our place the following day. I asked her to stop off and pick up a new tire and while she was at it also to get a spare rim and an extra tire in case that same problem I'd experienced happened again. So she went down to Colo G&T to pick up all this stuff. Her description of how Rudy the parts mgr took care of her and treated her so nicely was just great to hear. Its wonderful when people in business are nice to you. I certainly appreciate it. But when they're caring and helpful to those I love then my joy knows no end. What a great person they've got running their service / parts area (Rudy). And what a wonderful image he's creating for this business. Bottom line: You totally rock Colorado Golf and Turf. Thank you for your help and in getting us back up to work in no time.

Well my cart is a 1997 and the manufacturer provided a statement for me. Abbie could easily have brushed me off but followed through with contacting Club Car. She went out of her way to assist me even though I had not previously been a customer. Well I will become a customer in the future if I should need additional help with my restoration. I accidentally booked the wrong location on one of the busiest days of the year and didn't realize my mistake until we arrived. To make matters even more challenging, the location was running about 2 1/2 hours behind due to the holiday crowds. Despite the circumstances being completely my fault, the staff went above and beyond to help us. A special thank you to Justin, Steve, and Sydney. When another reservation didn't show up, they were able to work some magic and get us into a bay for an hour and fifteen minutes instead of the two-hour reservation we originally hoped for. More importantly, they treated us with kindness, patience, and understanding throughout the entire process. What impressed me most was that they didn't just solve the problem and move on--they checked back with us several times to make sure we were enjoying our visit and had everything we needed. Exceptional customer service is hard to find, especially on a busy holiday, and these three employees absolutely delivered. Unfortunately, you did not have the size we needed in stock, so we went directly to the manufacturer. When it comes to my child's safety, I will pay whatever it costs to ensure he has the best protection available. What I found disappointing about your response is that it came across as defensive from the very beginning. If your company's policy is that you won't help customers unless they purchased the product from you, then perhaps that should be clearly communicated. What you also failed to address was my concern about the unfriendly, nonverbal communication we experienced in your store. Ironically, my son's cheeks were just barely touching the side pads, so the helmet needed a minor adjustment. We stopped at another sporting goods store, and they were happy to help us. They took the time to make sure the fit was correct, and because of the excellent customer service they provided, I ended up purchasing a different helmet from them that fit even better. You assumed that because I didn't buy the helmet from your store, I should not have expected any assistance. I disagree. I was a small business owner myself, and if someone came into my business needing help with a product--even if they purchased it elsewhere--I would help them. More often than not, that level of service led to a sale and earned a loyal customer. Customer service builds relationships, and relationships build businesses. There's a reason I was able to sell my company successfully. Unfortunately, that wasn't the experience we had at your store. Your employee simply shook his head "no," dismissed us, and made no effort to assist. Had he taken a few minutes to help, your business very likely would have earned a sale and a long-term customer. Your response has only reinforced my impression of how your business treats people. I'll gladly drive wherever I need to in order to get the products and service my family deserves. Even if your store is on the way, I won't stop. I'll take my business elsewhere.
