I go in there for their great selection of new and second discs. Every employee there has been friendly and helpful whether at small talk or pulling down disc bags for us to look at. The walls of discs are very organized and easy to thumb through. There's other accessories they carry for disc golfing so if you go in there, you should be able to find everything you need for the Sport. read more

This location is really good for hockey gear. We originally went to the Castle Rock one and they didn't have a very big selection. They intentionally HID a deep scratch on an expensive golf driver with a pricing sticker!! Then, when we called to ask them about at least a slight discount for this clear dishonesty, both employees (we spoke to one and then were passed along to "Donny") couldn't help.. Donny said he "can't" give even a store credit..? After several minutes, Donny admitted he isn't even the manager and that we should call back on Monday. Business owners, especially franchisees, please avoid being unethical by covering up the major damage on a product. Super sketch. Purchased a few things at this location and I probably should have come here first before trying Dicks or Walmart. They have a very decent selection of merchandise in good shape at about half of what you would pay for something new. One minor complaint is that a weight bar I purchased and needed to exchange for a different size as it didn't fit my bench, well, I had to go back to the location I bought it from and could not swap it out at their other stores, as they are individually owned (from what the clerk told me). It was a very minor inconvenience however and I will definitely shop at their locations again. read more

I am so impressed with the young men that work at this store! I bring my daughter in here to get hockey equipment. The workers here are always so patient and helpful. They take the time to talk about different products and find the right fit. They have a pretty good selection and you can bring in used equipment to trade for cash. A great place if you need used hockey gear or some dumb bells. If you need skis or boots STEER CLEAR!!! They are sending unindemnified (no longer usable as dictated by the manufacturer) out the door with zero concern for a skier's safety. The boots are sketchy as well. These kids are not certified technicians, they will not hesitate to take your money for equipment that may be dangerous & cannot be serviced by certified shop technicians. read more

We talked to Logan, he worked with my son helping him fit all his stuff properly and we left with everything we needed, the service was fantastic and the bill , although more than I thought was reasonable. I've been going to Play It Again Sports since I moved to Arvada about 3 years ago and things have always been pleasant...until yesterday. 8 days ago, I came in and bought my son a pair of used ski gloves (Tuesday 12/13). Earlier this week, we went up to Copper Mountain and when we went to put my son's gloves on, we realized they sold us 2 right gloves. This was annoying but stuff happens, no big deal. Yesterday, I went in to return the gloves and was met by an employee that said they'd only be able to give me store credit. I said that would be fine AS LONG AS they have some gloves that fit my son. Well, they didn't have any kids gloves so I asked what my options are. the employee said we can only give you store credit. At that point, I let him know that I understand the store has a policy but this wasn't a case of my just not wanting something anymore. Again, they sold me TWO RIGHT GLOVES. I asked for special consideration. At that point, the owner came up and I told him the story. he looked at the gloves and my receipt and said "oh, and it took you over a week to realize it?". I said yes, we didn't notice until we went to use the gloves. I also half jokingly said "it took me less time to figure it out than it took you!" Pouting, the owner opened the cash register, took the money out (it was $10) and literally tossed it into my hand and said "see ya". so, like I said, they are polite as long as you are buying stuff. the moment something goes wrong, they turn on a long time customer. I wasn't rude, I was understanding. I didn't even get an apology or even a smirk indicating some ownership in the silly situation. They treated me as if I'm running some scam of buying up a bunch of matching right gloves and returning them to second hand stores (with a legit receipt and everything). I likely won't be coming back. read more
