Chicken fingers order with roll, pickles, and dipping sauce.
    John C.

I am a tenders aficionado. I used to swing by Heaven Sent at this location every so often to partake of their fantastic tenders, and was bummed when it closed. But then got quite excited when I saw another chicken spot had opened up in the same space! I've been by twice in the past couple of weeks and had the tenders both times (just the tenders, not the combo). There is a lot to recommend with these tenders. Portion size is good (5 well-sized tenders), plus an airy roll and -- unexpectedly -- 3 - 4 slices of a giant dill pickle (which I love!). The house dipping sauce is delicious, tangy with a tiny bit of subtle heat. The plump tenders come out piping hot and covered with a batter that has a nice crunch to it -- and is well-portioned to the meat. I would not recommend the spicy tenders as it seemed like they just sprinkled some paprika-like spices unevenly over the pieces, the spices did not seem fully integrated into the batter. But the regular tenders are delicious and you get that extra burst of flavor and spice with the dipping sauce (plus the tang of the big pickle slices). The tenders only order came to $15 including tax and tip, not cheap, but par for the course in Seattle. The woman who took my order both times was quite charming, she had nice customer service energy and clearly took pride in the restaurant, which was bright and clean. I wish them success and will personally do my part to support them when I get the tenders urge! ;-)

    $5.15 for 5 pickle slices!?! C'mon!

The spicy chicken sandwich is absolutely incredible. The actual fried chicken leaves a lot to be desired. There's not much flavor in the breading. My biggest gripe was the price of the side of pickles. $5.15 for 5 pickle slices is absolutely outrageous. For that amount of money, I was expecting a small deli container. Very disappointing.

Best fresh fried chicken ever! The people are so nice and helpful when it comes to ordering. The music inside is very fun and welcoming as well. We keep coming back for more to try new things.

Disappointed. Expensive, and forget my sauces. The menu is oddly confusing and sides are extra. Somehow the coleslaw was salty.

Started the meal with Sweet Potato Hoe Cake. This had cornbread like texture but felt softer, smoother, quite moist with a sweet honey butter syrup base. BBQ Shrimp tasted out of this world delicious: very fresh head/tail on shrimp cooking in garlic butter, Metier coconut porter. The good to the last drop sauce had bold flavors although quite salty, just perfect for dipping the focaccia in. Unc's Wing was equally endearing: rubbed in a 13-spice blend, with perfect crispness and plump, juicy flesh beneath the coating. Butter-basted cabbage was a rare treat: basted with butter that accentuates the sweetness of caramelized cabbage. Miso butter sauce a great match. The drink I ordered was less intriguing: Kinfolk (bourbon, Jamaican, rum, Cynar, and pecan liqueur) was bourbon heavy, very balanced nonetheless just not memorable. The chocolate truffle was the only item we did not enjoy: it had hard shell and very dense filling.

While this is their Capitol Hill location, it's a little further out from the main area of CapHill. Washrooms (restroom for search keywords). Friendly service, but nothing over the top as they simply took orders and brought it fresh. They brought pickled radish out with the chicken which is standard, but the radish was very fresh, meaning they were harder, sharper in flavor, and not as flavorful as a result of not being pickled long enough. Starter Set - we opted for mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and fries. Would love to see sweet potato fries here (another spot in CapHill proper does offer them) but love this combo for variety. Crinkle cut fries were tasty, nothing special. Mozzarella sticks were nice but lacked a cheese pull. Onion rings were the star of the trio, crispy, sweet, and totally delicious. Soy Garlic Chicken - half orders are about 10 pieces and full orders come with around 20, sometimes more. Chicken was juicy, tender, and sauce was just right. Great flavor! Similar to the Shoreline location, while the wings are a decent size, I feel that many Korean fried chicken spots have larger wings. Still tasty, but feels less competitive in the heart of Seattle.

I give 3/5 Kimchi fried rice had good kimchi flavor. Portion size was large. 10 piece fried chicken (wings) was good. The skin was way fattier than I would've liked and it could've been fried longer to help melt some of the fat out and make it crunchier. It was super hot, fresh, and juicy though. Radish was free. It came with sauce but only on the side. Personally, I would want to try other korean fried chicken places to compare before coming back here again Waffle fries come with either ranch or ketchup.
