After a concert, we were looking for a late dinner and were thrilled to find out that Chicken Prince was nearby. It's a Korean restaurant that focuses on chicken dishes! I ordered the Honey Butter Garlic Chicken ($21) with radish, Corn Cheese ($8), and Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken with radish ($21). They close at 12 AM, so I called at 11 PM to place our order. I was a bit frustrated because they only started preparing our food after we arrived and paid, which probably happened because it was so late and I was starving. However, the server was friendly, and the restaurant's ambiance was both beautiful and inviting. They have a bar area and dining tables. The food was crispy and delicious! Maybe I was just really hungry, but I would definitely recommend trying it yourself, it's definitely worth it. Plus they have karaoke!

I never write any negative review for restaurant. Not only was the food bad, but also the service was EXTREMELY TERRIBLE. All of the sudden, I heard waitress screaming and venting anger inside the food prep room while I was still waiting for my order. Corn cheese pizza not fresh, chicken inside undercooked, raddish rotten. Be prepared to get yelled at if you ask any questions. Worst restaurant experience, and now I have a trauma.

One of my favorite places to get Korean fried chicken. The pieces are big and delicious. Lots of sauce options that are great. Food can take a while but definitely worth.

The best cream tteokbokki and corn cheese. Both bomb.

A little hole in the wall place but wow my mind was blown the first time I tried their cream tteokbokki!! Never had/seen it anywhere else. It's rich, cheesy, chewy and basically just the best combo of everything on a plate - a must have! Also love their corn cheese and chicken wings!

Tried this place for the first time. We like the original chicken best because it's more crispy. However we liked the honey garlic butter sauce best, so ended up dipping our original chicken in the honey garlic but seasoned chicken container. Sauce flavors favorites in order: honey garlic butter, sweet spicy, Asian garlic. Honey mustard. Radish pickles were good. My kids liked the cheese fries.

After a hard gym session on a Friday night, picked up some Korean fried whole chicken and it did not disappoint! I got the half and half whole chicken, and they give you two flavors! I got Asian garlic and honey butter garlic and yes I was not planning to kiss anyone lol! Parking is tough but they do have a full bar, so it's a perfect spot to pull up and have a drink while waiting on your food but here's the kicker! They actually have karaoke rooms as well so grab Togo or grab friends to enjoy good Korean fired chicken and more while singing all your favorite songs!

Ask the Community - Chicken Prince

    Is it byob?

No. They serve alcohol and it's an important part of their revenue.

Can we bring a cake for a birthday celebration?

Yes you can. On the wall they stated no outside food or drinks but birthday cake is an exception.

They had plenty of seating available, and service was quick since it wasn't too busy. I got the squid dolsot bibimbap, and they gave us 12 banchan to start. Half we hits and half were misses - standouts were the marinated egg, fish cakes, glazed potatoes, pickled daikon, and cucumber kimchi. Since it was late we didn't get to refill throughout our meal since they closed the kitchen :( The dolsot bibimbap was pretty good - the sauce was tasty, and there was plenty of squid inside. However, my main complaint is that there was literally no crispy rice which is the entire point of dolsot bibimbap. I didn't even mix the edges the entire time so I could maximize how long it crisped up, but it never really did. Service was friendly though, and overall it was still really good!

Server was a very nice young fellow that was great to talk to and very efficient. It was not very busy. I suspect that their business is down in volume but after as a family of Koreans with two kids came in and ordered some great looking food so it's still legit I guess!

Now if you want to read more: This place reminds me of those family owned restaurants in K dramas, where the main character girl goes after being yelled at the office or after a long day. You know, that one place with just a few tables and an auntie running everything. She rarely talks to the girl, but when she does, she somehow sheds light and clears that poor girl's mind. Yes, this place gives me that kind of vibe... or I just overthink. Anyways, I ordered the combo with black bean noodles and sweet and sour pork. Although they're supposed to be half and half, the portion was actually big enough to feed an adult who isn't on a diet or afraid of carbs. There was plenty of sauce on the noodles, not just on top, but underneath as well. I loved that. Just mix it well and dig in. The only drawback for me was that the sauce was a bit mild, I prefer a saltier, more savory flavor. The sweet and sour pork was good. The pork was coated in a crispy batter, and the sauce leaned on the sweeter side. It was a nice combo, you can never go wrong with sweet and savory.

I love everything; perhaps the octopus could be cooked a little longer to tenderize more. I love the crunchiness from it, and the crunchiness from the black mushroom too. Maybe the chef can find a way to achieve just enough tenderness while still being crunchy, which would be perfect. Another thing, my bowl looks burned on the edges. Kudos to all staff! I have noticed that they always work together seamlessly as a team. They communicate and clean the tables together in an efficient manner. Please keep up the great work!

Also, my wife is vegan, and they had an entire vegan menu available, all ready to go. We used to live up in Shoreline and loved this place years ago. We were back in the neighborhood and decided to pop in on a whim. It is all spiffy and new and under new management. The owner and head chef was there, and she is a delightful lady. The service is top-notch, as her daughter was working there. The staff was very attentive. It feels less like eating at a restaurant and more like eating at your favorite Korean friend's mom's home after being spontaneously invited for dinner. The restaurant is meticulously clean and elegant, which makes you just want to eat. In fact, the food was so wonderful that I hardly spoke a word between moaning and eating. To cap off our meal, they provided this delicious cinnamon ginger drink to help settle our very full tummies. I wished the owner would come running out with packed banchan for me to take home, just to make sure I was eating well at home -- just like in those K-dramas.
