Cluck U or Cluck University as it's officially called should be sending it's staff back to school for their inept inability to be able to count out Chicken Wings. When I ordered a 10 Piece Buffalo meal they counted out inedible broken cartilage chunks as whole wings and added 3 of them to my order instead. What The Cluck?? Besides that the meal itself was pretty good and the sauces here are always on point BUT the fact remains that I really couldn't get my mind off them serving 3 inedible chunks of garbage.    Cluck this place!! I had family visiting and they loved the place from the food, staff, games and the entertainment you can have meanwhile you're waiting to be served. Tonight after picking up my unemployment check, my son Jequandavious Miller and I stopped by this lovey Cluck U chicken and decided to to make our ancestors proud And God damn as you can tell from this picture I was enjoying every single second of biting into that juicy, crispy chicken. I actually felt my balls start to sweat as that crispy breading hit my big white teeth. Safe to say, there's gonna be no complains from me, and better not be any from Jequandavious or I'll give him a whoppin with the belt We will be back. Yikes, some customers have sure had some bad experiences. I'd be leery about returning in the future. The 5-star is based on my one and only experience. We had a fish sandwich, boneless BBQ wings, chicken tenders, chicken wrap & a ton of fries. It was ALL good, from the taste / quality to the quantity. They were not shy with the amount of food we ordered. Fries were flavorful and crispy. The chicken was also very tasty and juicy. The wrap needed more chicken but overall had a good ratio of things inside. My orders were made online so I don't know how their customer service is. Sounds terrible in light of the reviews I read. For the sake of your business (if your reading this) please straighten that out, bad costumer service does not pay and can kill your business. The only two negatives I can think of is my chicken wrap could've used more chicken inside, skimped out a bit but easily forgiven with so much of the other stuff we got. The other negative is just the fact that it's all greasy, fatty food lol. Can't knock them because at least they're open 'til late. I tried this place because other closer ones to me got poor reviews. My go to cluck u is the Morristown location but they are temporarily closed due to having to relocate. The wings are not dry like previously said. You don't have to ask for them wet. I ordered 5 boneless wings and got 6 or 7. With 5 or less wings you do have to pay extra for dipping sauce. I opted for the hickory bbq wing sauce. I also got the honey bees and a bottle of water. Hannah took my order and was the one who brought out my food. They take their time and wings are fresh not frozen. I will go back until Morristown opens. I definitely recommend this place. Parking is easy as there is a lot next door. read more

Ok update. Ordered online for delivery but then realized my husband was near there so he stopped by to see if he can do a pick up. They said ok. He mentioned to me that they were blasting music and the lady at the register was on her phone. Everytime I call, it always sounds hectic and I'm sure it's because they don't know how to run a business and have music blasting, anyways he brought the food home. The whole order was SO WRONG! They charge an extra dollar per slice of pickle for their sandwiches and also charged another $1.50 for bacon that says comes with the meal on their menu. This place is hit or miss. Sometimes it's the best chicken I've ever had, sometimes is cold and kinda gross. Most of the time it's on the better side. The chicken comes in a million flavors. You can get boneless or normal wings. Generally the chicken is moist and well cooked. I usually order the smallest amount of chicken, but they tend to throw a little extra in there, which makes the hour long waits they usually have worth it. I've tried a few side there as well. The bees, corn bread covered in honey, are simple and delicious. Fried oreos are, well, fried oreos. Fried mushrooms are not good when gotten deliver, the packaging makes them soggy, but when fresh they are good. Similar with fries and poppers. This is an issue of using Styrofoam packaging for fried goods so I'm not sure I can knock them for it. Overall, it's a'aight. Probably best enjoyed after a night of drinking. We usually only get cluck you because they happen to deliver to my area and aren't in the mood for pizza. read more

Wanted a break from cooking so placed an order online for The Man and me. Went to pick it up at the store. Gave my name. Was told it would be a couple minutes. No problem! Asked if I could add a side sauce to the order. I pay. Seems a little pricier than what the online price was but I didn't argue it. Order comes out and I confirm it. Get home... it's completely not my order. Rather than go through the hassle of driving all the way back we kept it. So here's a review of our mystery order: The Clucksters bowl was inedible--wound up tossing it. The mashed was powdered. The gravy was just plain nasty (powdered too, I think). And the few pieces of corn thrown on top were a joke. The chicken bites smothered with cheez wiz was just obscene. Overall, thought it was sad something like this would be served to people. Some sort of chicken wrap was included. I thought the mustard was a little weird but The Man thought it was okay. Overall this was fine. The wings? Small with little meat. On par with the poor quality wings at KFC or the frozen Tyson wings that come in a bag. The sauce had a strange aftertaste; I don't know what flavor they were but I know they weren't what we originally ordered. I never even got the extra sauce I asked to add on! I'd be far more understanding if it was busy but it wasn't. Only one person was ahead of me and no one came in during or after my wait. So what happened to our real order? Eventually they called and said it was ready. I told them to keep it and not even bother. At that point we didn't want to be further disappointed with bad food. Will we go back? No. Don't think so. Has it's own game station for fighting games and ETC.... and it's got a projector to see anything. It's gots soccer/hockey mini game. Just wish they never remove it from trenton. My wife and I were trying to support a small local business so we ordered an 8 pcs. chicken dinner with 3 sides. The website said it would ready a 5:00pm. Drove to Netcong to pick up the order the person behind the said they tried to call us several times. Not as good as the morristown store, but still very good. The wings are pretty dry unless you tell them to make them wet, which they will charge you extra for. The sandwiches are amazing. The fries are not the "spuds" like at other cluck u's, just basic french fries, not very good. The mozzarella sticks are also not the same ones used at other cluck u's. Overall I would recommend going here, the minor drawbacks are just based off of comparisons to other cluck u's I have been to. read more

It's too bad I have to give this hell hole 1 star. My husband and I order from here frequently and this time was the absolute worst!!!! I placed an order, repeated the order 3 TIMES!!! STILL THEY GOT IT WRONG!!! The OWNER is trying to tell me that wings and chicken tenders are the same thing! WTF?!?!?! So when we pick up the wrong food, call the establishment to let them know, ask them to get the correct order ready so I can pick it up. I get there and the owner gives me an extremely hard time as his wife sits at the table giving me the most nasty looks ever. My daughter who was with me, asked her why she was giving me the nasty looks and the lady proceeded to speak to another gentleman there in another language!!!! Complete disrespect! Where do I start. I never write reviews but need to warn others. Ordered a take up. They wrapped in plastic bag so when open is was all soggy from the seam. 2 of the sides were missing and I had call 4 times to get refund and have still have not received it. They will not even return my calls. I want to support local stores but if they dont care about there customer we should all stay away and let them go away.
