Ordered online and picked up in-store. Fast and friendly service. The food tasted so fresh and filling. My girlfriend ordered 1/4 dark meat chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli and I ordered white meat with a side of mashed potatoes and string beans (gravy & sauce came on the side which was much appreciated.) We also ordered a Ceasar salad (dressing on the side) and popcorn chicken. We were so full over our meal that we saved our side orders. Overall, everything was made fresh, and we would definitely try it again.

I was REALLY hoping to love this place because I love a quick service chicken place that has a bunch of sides. I love love places like this where you have the option to be healthy (grilled/rotisserie chicken and vegetable sides) BUT you can also get something a little more fun (fried/crispy chicken). I wanted something that was somewhat in the middle on the health scale. I got a grilled chicken cesar wrap and a side of mac and cheese. Mac and cheese at a chicken place is vital - it needs to be good and you will be judged by your mac and cheese. This is nottttttttt it. So bland, so boring. Tasteless. The noodle consistency was great, but WHERE IS THE FLAVOR. The wrap was also disappointing. Didn't really taste like caesar. Chicken was cooked well and the wrap itself was good, but once again- where is the flavor. People were nice and moved efficiently. Place seemed clean. I'm not sure if I would return.

    Staple in my bbq chicken

Found a staple in my chicken after biting into it... been going here for a bit. Food is okay, but this was the last straw for me

Place is delicious. Reminds me of a spot I used to go to in college in Madison. Quick service and the chicken is so good. Will definitely be stopping here a lot! I noticed they crank with the take out orders so maybe will do that soon! Mac and cheese is also great.

Juicy birds, fantastic sides and solid cornbread. For 25$ out the door you get a freaking feast. The Macn'Cheez is low brow in all the right ways, the black beans are creamy but begging for some bacon and the creamed spinach binds it all together. The only critique will be the seasoning on the chix skin. It is very basic. Like au natural, maybe just salt and some paprika for color. For you rotisserie puritans this may not foul your fowel.. but I prefer bold flavors. They go so light on the seasoning I need to rely on sauce to give their bird any flavor. Solid showing on the sides saved the meal from mediocracy.

Rotisserie chicken, creamed spinach, sweet potatoes and a corn muffin. It tasted exactly how it looks- TERRIBLE!

Not really sure what all the fuss is about this place. If you're used to bland food that has zero to no taste to it, then you'll love this place! The food is undercooked, tasteless, under seasoned and just plain terrible. I wanted to try a new place for lunch, so I searched Yelp for a recommendation. After reading all of the wonderful reviews, I decided to give this place a try. Although the customer service is great, and the prices are amazing, the food is 100% not good!! Unfortunately I do not recommend this restaurant.

BBQ Chicken Wrap with 2 Sides

Visited this restaurant on a late Sunday afternoon and was curious to taste some BBQ. I ordered the barbecue chicken wrap with two sides (veggies and corn) that tasted fresh and was very pleased with the meal. There were two wrap options, regular and wheat and a good assortment of sides from which to pick. The meal was made within 10 minutes and The wrap was loaded with barbecue sauce. It had a slight tang to it but was good. Bonus points for including plenty of napkins and a fork in the bag. I would definitely visit this place again.

Scene: I didn't have time to prepare a lunch. One other coworker was willing to go. We need ideas. We need something close and fast. We find this. I think he had eaten here before. Let's roll with it. This is sort of a hometown Boston Market. It advertises itself as Latin or Latin-inspired, but it's a mishmash of southern, Latinx, and Northeastern. I got a variety of food and present the good, the bad, the wtf: * Chicken: It's in the name, so it has to be the star of the show. And while it was very flavorful and cooked just right, the skin was all moist and icky like at Boston Market. Pollos Pucalor knows how to make a thin, crispy skin on a well-cooked bird. * Cornbread: Sure. Not the best I've ever had, but solid. And yes, I've had bad cornbread. You can mess it up. * Stuffing (side): I was mostly a fan, but it was a bit salty for my liking. It is very thick and bready, and moist. That's how I like my stuffing, but you may or may not. * Creamed spinach (side): Not a fan. It was simultaneously salty and lacked flavor outside of that. It was also very thick, which is good in a stuffing but not good in a creamed vegetable. And yes, I know creamed vegetables are thick by nature. This is really gooey and almost gelatinous. I'd veer to a different side next time. * Green salsa: Avoid it. Do not ask for any. It's totally artificially colored with tiny specks of bright green something, and it doesn't taste good. Verdict: 3.4 stars. It's a solid step up from Boston Market, but like Boston Market, it's clearly geared toward Caucasian tastes. Go down the road to Pollos Pucalor for more flavor and overall better food. But you don't need to throw a fit if you're being dragged here.

I enjoyed the chicken but not the sides sweet potatoes (soupy) and yellow rice. Cute place I would compare to a low end Boston Market.

The space on the first floor is divided into a lively bar area with plenty of TVs and a slightly quieter main dining room with comfortable booths and tables. There is also seating on an outdoor terrace on the second floor and a few tables in front of the restaurant on South Street if you're up for dining al fresco. It's a terrific option in Morristown that's sophisticated enough for a date on the outdoor terrace when the weather cooperates or a pre-theater meal in the dining room, yet casual enough for beers and appetizers while watching a game in the bar area. The menu captures the essence of modern American comfort food. Whether you're grabbing the Stirling Burger ($18) -- made from a tasty short rib and brisket blend -- or splurging on the Grilled New York Strip ($48) topped with crabmeat fries, the quality is evident. They are also great with dietary restrictions. Between the various poultry, fish, and vegetarian options on the menu and the kitchen's willingness to make moderate accommodations in any other dish, there's something for everyone. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. We recently celebrated my niece's 21st birthday here, and our server made it memorable by honoring her milestone birthday by playfully asking for her ID EVERY SINGLE TIME she ordered a drink. It became a running joke for the night and made the occasion feel extra special. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars for me is that both sides of the main floor can get pretty loud when it's packed and the prices are a bit on the higher side for casual dining. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Stirling Tavern offers a Happy Hour Monday through Friday between 3pm and 6pm, which features specials on certain cocktails, wines, beers, and light snacks. You must be seated at the bar to take advantage of the promotional pricing. If you enjoy a good Old Fashioned, try the JB ($10), made with Four Roses bourbon, blood orange amaro, orange & angostura bitters. PRO TIP #2: Stirling Tavern does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of paid on-street parking on South Street or Maple Avenue. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you can't find a spot on the street, paid parking is also available in the Morristown Parking Authority Lot #8 (@ 10 Franklin Street) and Vail Parking Area (@ 110 South Street). FREE on-street parking is located on MacCulloch Avenue, just two blocks from Stirling Tavern.

Despite this, the manager refused to provide our party with the brunch menu and insisted we order from the regular menu, even after we politely requested otherwise. It later became clear that this decision was based on the size of our party rather than an actual menu policy. The manager repeatedly claimed that brunch ended earlier than what was printed on the menu, which was confusing and inconsistent. After unnecessary back and forth, the chef ultimately approved our ability to order from the brunch menu, confirming that this was not a kitchen issue. This was especially disappointing as we were celebrating my son's birthday, and what should have been a pleasant occasion was unnecessarily stressful. The manager's approach was unprofessional, dismissive, and confrontational. In contrast, our waiter was excellent. He was attentive, courteous, and did everything possible to make the experience positive despite the circumstances. Honoring published menu times and treating guests with respect are basic service expectations. Unfortunately, poor management overshadowed what could have otherwise been an enjoyable celebration.

First, the wait was completely worth it. If you get there early, you can probably avoid the line, but even if you can't, don't let that discourage you. Good food is worth a few extra minutes of patience. As someone who pays attention to the details, I always take a quick look inside food trucks and kitchens when I can. I was genuinely impressed by how clean, organized, and professional everything looked. It's clear they take pride in what they do. Now, let's talk about the food. The fries were fresh and clearly made in-house--not the typical pre-packaged fries you find everywhere else. The steak portions were generous (they definitely don't believe in counting pieces), and the combination of flavors and sauces came together perfectly. Every bite was better than the last. By the time I finished, I was already planning my next visit. There are still several items on the menu I want to try, and if they're anything like what I had, my diet may be in serious trouble. Highly recommended!

One of my kids wanted some salt for her mac & cheese. Bartender never came back to ask how everything came out. Multiple people loafing around and waking past but I couldn't get anyone's attention for the salt. I asked someone who said we aren't his table and kept walking. I saw this guy up by the bar - collared shirt - looked like a manager. I waved at him and he looked at me and just shook his head and went back to talking to some other bar back.    I was beyond pissed and finally the older manager lady happened to walk by. I said who is that guy in the collared shirt - oh he works here but hasn't started his shift yet. Yea well I just wanted the salt shaker if he bothered to take 2 seconds and see. Or he could have gotten someone else's attention but he didn't, he just blew me off. But the Manager made no attempt to really apologize or ask what she could do. Then our drinks are empty for awhile- none came by to see if we wanted another round. Eventually I'm waving at the bartender who finally comes over and I ask for a 2nd round. Then he forgets about making them and spends 15 mins talking with other employees and doing whatever before I wave at him again. He gives me the nod and The drinks finally come but no limes like the previous round. Honestly I was done - might have stayed longer but with our kids it was time to go. Finally I've included a photo of our view of these diligent employees that are obviously too busy to worry about service or the perception of how things look from a customers point of view. The food wasn't bad but honestly the experience wasn't great. We won't be back.
