Went to Cluckers recently for a family outing with my siblings and my daughter, and wow... this place was a solid hit. The servers were great and super attentive! We ordered a little bit of everything to try. First off, the fried pickles were AMAZING -- super thin, perfectly crispy, and honestly one of the best things we ate. I would go back just for those. We also tried the chicken & waffles, whole wings, chicken strips, the Cowboy Clucker, and the Clucker Supreme. Every sandwich comes with a full breaded chicken thigh (seriously HUGE) with pickles, and each meal comes with a full order of fresh cut fries. The fries were SO good... fresh, crispy, and addicting. Like I would come here just for fries alone. The Cowboy Clucker had BBQ sauce, red onions, and cheddar cheese and it was really good. The Clucker Supreme was more of a classic style with mayo, lettuce, and tomato. I will say the breading on my sandwich could've used a little more seasoning, BUT it was still delicious once dipped in the sauces. And speaking of sauces -- they have a TON of options. You can pick two per meal and they have so many, so there's something for everyone. The whole wings were super crispy and cooked perfectly. I also ordered the Spicy Clucker to-go for my husband since he couldn't come, and he said it was perfectly spicy and totally worth it. Overall, everything was super yummy and the portions are huge. I'm already planning to go back... mostly for those fries and fried pickles because WOW.
This restaurant is so adorable! Plenty of seating both at the bar and dining area. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it's midtown-just be patient when you're looking for parking spot. It's so colorful inside with some of the best murals. Staff is very friendly. Had the chicken taquitos and chicken tenders. Everything was delicious and love all the sauce choices. Great place!
Staff is friendly and will help you decide if you've never been here before. Food hot and fresh and unique for chicken (just a little something different but not crazy) it s restaurant bar on a quiet corner in midtown. Very good vibes.
We had been wanting to try this spot for a while, but felt like we kept missing their hours. However now at this new location it seems like they've expanded them a bit which I'm happy about! I felt it was decent value for the price- they included a good sized side and the chicken in the sandwiches was definitely higher quality than your typical fast casual chicken sandwich joint. The fries and sauces were great. Potato salad maybe a bit sweet for my liking but still really tasty. The staff were all very kind, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I was pleasantly surprised!! It really was a solid chicken sandwich joint perfect for my post-workout hanger. Would probably do well as a light night spot on the weekends.
I've been looking for whole wings! These are a really nice size but they lacked flavor. Not 1 piece had salt on it. I would suggest a sauce to have these taste like something. The fries have to be eaten hot! Otherwise it'd a major no. Customer service was really good! They do have a few tables and chairs should you decide to dine in! Give it a try at least, and bring salt
Everything was great I had 3 strips with fries. Wife had strips with deep fried pickles. Love that they use chicken thighs. Will definitely be back
hello! new spot moved in about 4-5 weeks ago downtown virigina street, super poppin' and busy street with lots of restaurants, traffic, and more. used to be near brothers bbq. signage incoming outside of the building. didnt have a sign outside of the restaurant due to the recent move. first time, parking can be pack, so go early to find a spot, limited spots. walking or uber is ideal. the food was excellent the chicken was moist, juicy, and retained its texture. the chicken was not dry at all, so props to that! chicken tenders were great also, juicy and tender. excellent hospitality and thank you joe for the welcome! will be back to try more cluckers!
Cluckers is a welcomed fast casual restaurant in Midtown with reasonable prices and quality food. I've been here a few times now and have always been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chicken and fries for the price. The service has always been very good each time I've come here. They are attentive and quick and will bring out your order and check on you when dining on the patio. Each meal is more than enough food for the price, and I appreciate that you can choose difference sauces for your chicken and fries and no extra cost. The fry sauce is a must try and there are lots to choose from depending on what you're into. I prefer the Chicken Tender meal bu the chicken sandwich is also a good option. The chicken is much better than typical fast food chicken, being more fresh and "real" which I appreciate. The fries are also really good and fresh cut. I've been here for lunch several times now and have never been disappointed, glad to have an affordable and tasty option in midtown, especially next to an arcade!
Such a cute environment. Can't wait to taste the wings. Previously a take out spot, they have moved and have a sports bar environment. Very cute inside. Food smells incredible........if it tastes as good as it smells. . Some outdoor seating and plenty inside. You select a dry rub, and then a few sauces. The wings are the large whole wing and leg combo. The owner was so friendly, the service was perfection. Take out is speedy! And #backthepack pride here! #nevada Come visit cluckers!
Another slam dunk for the best fried chicken joint in Reno They new guy at the counter did pretty good. Friendly and made sure we were all set after we were eating. Fried pickles and the spicy hot clucker and the chicken strip combo. Always better in store hot out the frier.
After eating 32 fried chicken sandwiches from 32 restaurants over the course of 3 months I have a very well defined idea of what I like in a chicken sando. The good: Cornflakes in the breading Perfect cook on a juicy piece of dark meat Pickles The bad: No seasoning in the breading!!! The French fries made In N Out fries look crispy The meh: Too much slaw The garlic buffalo sauce just didn't taste good to me Way better than Canes or Chik Fil A but I prefer Popeyes or even Wendy's. I'll probably be back because my lovely fiancée was a vegan during the fried chicken showdown and now that he eats meat he's certain there are no bad chicken Sammie's.
Cute bar as you walk in. Friendly employees. Order food towards the back of building. Simple and small menu. Employees check up on you. A few tv screens and music. Not bad

We got the original chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got the spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken on the inside was perfectly cooked! Just the right amount of moist so the sandwich does not taste dry. The buns were soft and fluffy. I am not usually a fan of chicken sandwiches because of how dry it makes the whole sandwich when it is overcooked, but these were definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had! We also ordered the fried pickles because we heard people complimenting them so we had to try. They were definitely crispy on the outside and crunchy on the inside. It is surprising to have a crispy exterior when the juice of the pickles can seep out. We tried some of the regular fries as well, but they were not as crispy on the outside. They do give a lot of fries for the price! Cluckers is attached to Press Start (adult arcade) next door and you can order through a window. Finding parking is the most difficult because it is in midtown, so you might need to come early to find somewhere to park. Service is quick and the staff are nice. The inside of Cluckers is small if you want to dine-in, but they do have a few tables outdoors. Definitely will rave about their original Clucker to fellow foodies! read more
Solid and standard chicken sandwich. I really like the addition of the hot honey, it seriously made this sandwich stand out for me. The fries were standard, not overly crispy but tasted fresh like potato. Convenient location next to press start arcade bar and I would have it again the next time I visit. read more

Finally got a chance to try out Cluckers! Located right next to Brothers Barbecue (and owned too by them). The location is small and cozy, definitely geared towards takeout. However, there is a number of seating areas for dine-in. Straightforward menu, with a variety of different chicken sandwiches and even chicken strips. Note, no fountain drinks, but there are bottled beverages that are ready for purchase. The service was nice, and the person at the front was attentive and ensured that everything was good to go. My only complaint from the food is that the fries and the chicken were kind of greasy. Good flavor but I typically prefer crunchier fries and a less greasy chicken. Otherwise it was delicious! We can't wait to try out the other sandwiches that they have! read more
food here is decent, the chicken sandwich wasn't that special but it was cooked well and juicy. the breading itself is decently crispy but honestly not my favorite, it didn't have too much flavor either. the original was carried by the hot honey in my opinion, without that it would be super bland. the fries are also just okay, well salted but not very crispy and didn't have much special quality to them. overall the sandwich was good but nothing special, just an average sandwich. service was great! the food came out super fast and the worked was extremely nice, she asked if it was our first time and let us take our time ordering. she explained anything to us as well, 10/10 service. ambiance here is good, there's a video game bar nearby and some good outdoor seating available. it's a walk away from tons of fun things to do and is in the perfect location. read more

The chicken sandwich tasted like the meat was old or rotten, it was absolutely disgusting. The tenders didn't taste right either. Besides the old meat taste, the chicken sandwich itself was flavorless and only tasted better after putting the sauces on it. The fries were under cooked and pretty seasonless. I'm sorry but I just cannot recommend this place to anyone. I wish I could've liked it. read more

I like Cluckers! This nice and surprisingly great little chicken joint caught me by surprise! The simple menu selection leaves a few items to be desired like tenders for example, but the sandwiches were great. During our visit, my wife had a Clucker Supreme, a jumbo sandwich on a toasted bun with tomato, mayo and lettuce, while I had a Clucker original, a delicious chicken sandwich drizzled in a bit of hot honey with mayo and pickle. The flavors were great. The chicken, so crispy. Their house fries were awesome and while we ordered some of their fried pickles they didn't hit the way I thought they would as the seasoning was a bit on the salty side. Bottle drinks like tea and sodas were available for a reasonable price. The atmosphere was chill, the service was great. Our cashier/waiter checked in every so often and taking care of the extras for us. This is a great alternative to any big franchise chicken fast food restaurant in my opinion. While they are moderately priced, the flavor of the chicken, the selection of sauces offered gives Cluckers in my opinion a great overall rating for quality that anyone would enjoy. read more
We came here to pick up lunch. The $12 order of 4 whole wings and French fries can easily feed two people. I had them Texas rub seasoned. Very very good. There was a bunch of skinny fries which I asked for crispy but being confined in the take out box made for soggy fries Other than that, great wings. They also offered the wings in lemon pepper seasoning. I wonder if they do half lemon pepper and half Texas rub? read more

I'm a chicken sandwich/ tender lover and Cluckers doesn't disappoint. They're juicy, flavorful and delicious. They have a variety of dipping sauces. I liked the Cluckers sauce and the ranch. My favorite thing was the fried pickles. They were hot and salty and amazing dipped in ranch. They have a small amount of tables if you want to eat inside and a few on the patio. It's a cute place and the service is great. read more

This place was pretty tasty. I only had delivery once and I got the wing combo. I imagined normal wings but they're the wing that has the wing and drumstick attached with like 5 of them in the box, so LOTS of chicken! They layer the bottom of the box with fries and it comes with carrots and celery(only reason for not giving full 5 stars is because the veggies where very dried out and unappetizing) The wings and fries were so good! I got the bbq and ranch sauce for dipping and both were amazing too! This is definitely a meal you could share with two people, I couldn't eat the whole thing to myself! read more

I am now sad that today was my first visit to Cluckers! I have been missing out on some seriously delicious food. I will be going back and working my way through the menu, but the original Clucker is a suuuuper delicious fried chicken sandwich on a brioche bun with hot honey!, pickles, mayo, maybe something else...I was in it for the honey and it did not disappoint! The sandwich is a good size with big hunks of chicken- with the fries, especially it's a lot of food! For $11, you can't go wrong (fries are included). I am a little sad I didn't get a side of fried pickles but that's kinda over my fried food threshold and I am way too full anyway. Service was excellent and the sandwich was ready quick! But not too quick, don't worry. They're open til 7 pm which is kinda great too.yum. read more

Fantastic value for the money! Especially in today's high inflation world... four whole yummy and crispy chicken wings on a bed of fries for $12? Yes, please! The Texas dry rub reminds me of a sweeter Lawry's... but better! The spicy one was perfect. And now we know we need to go back and try the lemon pepper wings. These wings were big and juicy! My only complaint is that the ranch dipping sauce could taste more homemade and less like a store bought version. In terms of service, the young lady helping us patiently explained all the flavors and sauces. Finally, the bright colors inside are super cheerful and create a fun atmosphere. We hung aout at Press Start fror a bday party recently, and all that gaming can make you work up a hunger! CONVENIENTLY, there's a take-out window right into Cluckers! We'd sampled a Cluckers slider at a holiday event, but hadn't checked out more of the menu. Pretty standard chicken fare here, and why not just keep the menu simple and do what you do best...chicken. Crispy, juicy, seasoned chicken! The kids & I shared wings & fries, and hubby got a Korean sandwich. The wings were 4 whole wings, and a mound of fries, and man that Korean Clucker is a big chonky sammich! It had a massive chicken filet, and it also came with a pile of fries! Overall, plenty for 2 adults & 2 kiddos, so a fairly reasonable priced meal for 4. The only thing is...we both liked the sliders better than the whole portion of sandwich! The buns are perfection but with all the sauce and such a hefty slab of chicken, it was not only hard to eat but messy as heck. Tasty, but overwhelmingly messy. My wife and I have been on a mission to find all of the chicken sandwiches in town and saw Cluckers on Instagram. And then promptly forgot until one cold Saturday when we needed a quick meal in midtown. We got incredible service, the server was right there with extra sauces and our food came out super fast. The building is tiny and we were worried that maybe they wouldn't have a table for us but they actually have a fair amount of seating tucked in there which was super nice so don't let cold weather scare you off. Out of the three sandwiches I tried with my family, I would absolutely reorder the Korean. The sauce on that mixed with the slaw was just perfect, although all three of them were crispy and juicy, just what you would want from a chicken sandwich. We also didn't realize that all of their sandwiches come with fries so that was a happy surprise. Pro tip: their fry sauce is amazing, don't skip it! read more

Firt time checking this place out after randomly finding it! Mac n cheese was cheesy and delicious, while spicy sandwich was spicy without overpowering the flavors (there are three levels of spice, and I got the level 3). It had a GIANT piece of juicy chicken strip with the perfect amount of toppings and sauce! They have friendly staff and a cute hand washing station! They also have an arcade machine, which were my children's favorite part! We will be coming back here again for sure! read more

Great fried chicken sandwiches and very friendly service. Kind of the same chicken on all sandwiches but with different toppings. The hot honey was tasty and the medium spicy wasn't very spicy for me. Fresh fries had a nice crisp to them. Coleslaw wasn't too Creamy, more on the vinegar side which was very nice. Overall very happy for a fried chicken joint. read more

New experience tonight but definitely equal to the last one. I had a slider as part of our time at the Button Bash next door and I just had to have a taste of something else. So, I got the wings - four of them... wait... FOUR HUGE WINGS! I love chicken wings and those were huge, juicy, flavorful portions of goodness! The Korean slider was just like I remembered from my previous larger experience - just plain perfect!!! The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of their menu! The interior nice and clean as always and pleasant to hang out and enjoy the meal and not feel rushed. I can't wait to come again and believe me I will!!! read more
Ok, had a slider here from a gig at Press Start last week and was disappointed the wings ran out before I could order any ( loved the sandwiches) so today made the drive across town for 2 orders of fried wings and WOW! they are top notch, they are King of the fried chicken world! The wings are the WHOLE wing ( wing and leg) which include fries and celery, carrot sticks and fry sauce and choice of blue cheese or ranch. We had the dry rub which is tasty as can be and not overly spiced nor is the frying batter too heavy. I'm in love with this chicken and now they would make me a happy little chicken eater if they started selling buckets of fried chicken! The staff was great as was service. A few tables inside but understand you can eat inside their other establishment of Brothers BBQ or even Press Start. See you guys soon! PS love that the menu is simple! read more

Yummy!! Love that this place is connected to the funnest bar in Reno! Press Start, if ya don't already know! If you think you can handle spice, this place will make you think you cannot. That Mac n cheese was so spicy I had to drink ranch and I love spicy food! So beware! Haha I'll definitely pop in here whenever I go button smashing next door. The chicken is not only perfectly crispy but also so juicy and not dry at all! 10/10 recommended this place if you're a fried chicken fan. The Korean sauce is really good. Next time I might just try half spicy and half Korean to balance out the heat. Love it here! read more
My first visit here was at a Yelp event for the arcade next door. I sampled half a sandwich and liked it but it was overwhelmingly busy that night so I made a return trip for lunch on a Saturday Their sandwiches are made to order and they use fried thighs as opposed to breasts. The end result is a tender and juicy sandwich on a brioche bun. The fries are hand cut and addictive All in all it's a great fried chicken shop with good varieties of spice read more

Good fried chicken sandwiches! I enjoyed the classic. The chicken was juicy, tender and crispy. It was not greasy at all. The spicy honey is good surprising touch. The buns were warm and fluffy. The servers were very nice making sure that we were satisfied with our meal and experience. read more

I love this place. I've been in a couple times and seen some familiar faces who have been nothing but delightful. I tried the "Texas Rub" on the 3 Piece Tenders (as recommended today) and it's so delicious!! That space is welcoming thanks to the staff and the food is amazing as well!! This was our first time dining here, and we wouldn't have known about this place if we didn't eat at Brothers bbq next door. The staff is friendly and helpful and the service is fast. We ordered the "korean clucker and the cowboy clucker" sandwiches. Both sandwiches were so delicious, and the chicken breast was huge, and only the downside was the shoestring fries. I would definitely return and will the next I'm in town. read more
Legit spicy friend chicken. They are not kidding when they say spicy. I love it! Crispy and fresh chicken with an awesome tangy hot sauce on a chicken sandwich with a fresh house made pickle. Yes please! And sign me up for another. The people working here were very kind clearly cared about their work. The ambiance is a small pick up food spot. But there are a few places to eat inside and outside. Prices were reasonable. We will be back!! read more

Hi there. I called and asked, and they said they do not use peanut oil, they use soybean oil. Hope that helps!
