We were charged the first (we purchased the transmission and had them put it in so the seal leak wasn't their fault but still took a little off the labor) but on the second visit, though well within their right to charge to repair a leak unrelated to the transmission, didn't charge us. These people are GREAT! Front desk, owner, mechanics...everyone is so friendly, the repairs are prompt and pricing is fair. We have another car we will be bringing back soon. Ask for Eddie!

It took them 5 weeks to finally get the $80 part in and repair it. When we got the car back, it was filthy on the inside and out. The carburetor definitely shows signs of a fire. They had the gall to say he needed a new carburetor because it wouldn't start. He told them the carb was almost brand new and nothing was wrong with it and they never mentioned it again. It was also a half tank of gas less than when it was dropped off. I won't even bring it back to have any of this corrected, I have no trust in this shop. Every time they said they would call me back with an answer, the literally never did. My husband had to drive there twice to get an update in person.

They work on classics, moderns, diesels and RVs! I called to add myself to their waitlist and was happy when they called! I had the car towed in, and they worked tirelessly on her for a month. I appreciated that the owner, Kevin, took the time to go through all of the items that they noticed on inspection. He included a thorough list and estimated prices for each line item, and then talked through the list with me at length to decide what was a 'must have' and what was a 'wish list' item. He also told me what items i could do myself to save money, and gave me pointers on how to do them. Anytime something would come up that would cause additional cost or time, he was sure to call and inform me. I also appreciated that Kevin took the time to teach me about my car in a respectful and friendly way! All too often, as a woman, I feel slighted by mechanics who think that I either don't know or don't care about what is going on. Kevin went the extra mile when my car died on her drive home from the shop. He met me at the gas station where I was dead in the water, diagnosed the problem, ordered a part for us that we picked up around the corner, and installed it right there in the gas station parking lot. then followed me home to make sure it was ok! I've never experienced such great service and dedication from a shop before. He's earned a customer for life!
