This school has some of the coolest and most patient instructors. I highly recommend taking a training course here, specifically. However, you have to have bicycle experience first. This may seem obvious but there was a student who simply could not balance on two-wheels in our class. In any case, it is an eye opening experience. I was looking for a good place to learn how to ride and to get licensed. I know that it takes one instructor to make or break anyone's motorcycling journey. So I was hoping to find a place to have exprerienced instructors with wisdom, a little sense of humor, and hopefully some safe human connnection during these hard times. The Clutch Motorcycle Training seemed to be the best option. I did read comments about the owner (Amanda), how responsive she was to the questions and issues, and having read that she was a rider herself, I thought the place would have the culture. Thankfully that was the case. My instructors exceeded my expectations beyond my imagination. A big, big shout out to Beth! For her wisdom, patience, and her "I believe in you" attitude for any future rider she trains. She is the main reason that I will be back for more classes to improve. I had a GREAT TIME and the instructors Max & Jennifer were AMAZING. They are patient, super professional and made sure everyone stayed safe at all times. They had all the equipment (helmets & gloves) properly sanitized for any students who needed loaners. Class started on time and loaner bikes were all clean and well-maintained, they even have different heights for those "vertically challenged". Class had different exercises and each time there is a pause to clearly explain every one and they clearly explain the steps. There are 15 minute breaks for students to stretch, walk about and use the facilities. (EDIT I was told where the wash station was located and they DO PROVIDE hand-sanitizer). If you are taking the class, plan to order food for pick up or have a packed lunch. There is less than 1/2 hour between course and classroom time which is only 2 1/2 hours so it's not too bad. They do have popcorn and coffee in the classroom so bring your snacks to keep your Tum tums busy.... You can always celebrate after when you pass the class, which is very reasonable and they're so thorough so your chances are very good. Thank you so much! The BMW instructor (I'm sorry I forgot your name). But SUPER professional and didn't hesitate to answer any questions as many times as needed. His riding experience is an asset to this team! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!! What I mean by that (as the star rating will show) is that it is absolutely terrible that more people don't know about this course. I am a brand new rider, and I mean NEW NEW, I've never even been on a bike, simply admired from afar. The instructors not only educated me on the safety aspect that is needed, but they broke it down to the bare bones of riding a bike; from starting, to balancing on it, etc. Marna was my instructor for the first class and she truly engraved a lot of key information that helped me understand what it is to be a rider, how the bike works and what is required from me, this was all wrapped up by Carl on my second lecture class, where he dove deeper to helping us understand so many details about driving safely and understanding the realities of the road for motorcyclists. Finally, the field training was done by Brian, and I've never experienced a more patient and yet motivating instructor. He didn't let my fears or mistakes cloud me, he reminded me continuously to learn from each mistake and move forward, shaking it off each time. He was very patient with me and every rider, I couldn't see any difference on how he taught or treated one rider from another, simply an incredible experience! Everything about this experience was amazing and so much fun, I can't wait to continue to learn, definitely coming back for the additional courses offered here once I've strengthened the skills learned in the beginning course. I found this school via Yelp. Trusted my fellow yelpers and signed up via the easy to manage website with no other research. The class was informative and beneficial. I found my classroom instructor Carl to be engaging and he provided personal experiences to highlight many important points. The best part of the entire class was our range instructors, Sue, Marna and Gene. Over the 2 days the range instructors got the class from slowly moving across the range with our feet down to performing hard stops and tight turning maneuvers. What seemed impossible or intimidating at the beginning of the course, became comfortable by the end. The instructors were quick to point out my deficiencies and offer precise ways to correct. I feel much more confident and safe after taking the course. I will never forget to look over my shoulder into the turn from Sue and never forget to look up from Marna. Looking to ride for a couple months and move on to the intermediate course. The owner Amanda has definitely hired amazing individuals who are truly passionate about the sport. read more

Everyone here is great. Very patient people and they consider safety first. I dropped the bike a few times luckily it has guards and the only thing they showed concern with was my health not the bike or anything else. They also don't dismiss you unless you probably have a big Ego and come to show off which means you probably shouldn't ride anyway. They were very fair and considered my improvement and told me what I need to work on and answered all of my questions even the off topic ones. They are good people they genuinely care about their students hats off to Amanda for running a great range. I would recommend and will be back for more training I got my license and passed first time. DID I MENTION YOU WONT BE RIDING A BEAT UP OLD BIKE ?
