Emails received showing adjusted shipping and stating alphabet was included in the shipment.

I have attempted to reach out to this company several times but have not heard back, which has led me here. I live out of state and placed an online order for two items. The shipping was astronomical but it was the only place I was able to find the exact hanging cursive alphabet I wanted for my classroom so I bit the bullet and made the purchase. The second item in my order was just a bulletin board border. A few days after placing my order, I received an email that a portion of the shipping cost would be refunded, which I was appreciative! However, when I received my order, only the bulletin board border was included, not the alphabet. The shipping receipt had the alphabet crossed out (I'm assuming it was out of stock) but didn't include a note nor did I receive any type of notification that the item was out of stock. The ONLY reason I placed the order was for the alphabet. I only included the bulletin border to help justify the shipping cost. I could have bought the exact border 5 minutes away from my home in New Orleans. The summer preparations and the start of the school year have been a whirlwind as I'm a first year teacher after a 13 year career in nursing, so I have tried to be patient but it has been almost 8 weeks now and I have yet to see my refund on the alphabet or on the adjusted shipping cost. Numerous emails have gone unanswered and I have been unable to reach anyone when I have tried to call. If someone from management sees this, I ask that you please reach out. Thank you.

It was organized and prices were comparable to Amazon and other places when I checked.

Shelves are messy, many are empty, and boxes with items are frequently left on the floor as if restocking was abandoned midway. Price tags are often missing. I asked a dazed looking employee if they carried fringe and rickrack. She told me they did not. As I made my way to the register, I found an aisle stocked with exactly those items. Employees are never in sight when customers need assistance and when you do find one they are unfriendly and do not even acknowledge you or say hello when passing. This store feels neglected and on the brink of closing its doors for good. The last time I visited, I nearly stepped on a large roach slowly strolling down the aisle (see pic). I did notify a worker about this and they stated it was common and not concerned with doing anything about it. I will not be returning nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

Hands down awful experience. Went in for gift basket stuff. There were no employees to be found to ask for assistance so I spent an hour roaming looking for everything I needed. When i finally get to the register I see a single employee PLAYING ON HIS PHONE who then had the audacity to tell me I can cash myself out at self check out... because you're so busy doing what exactly Sir??? My eye sight is very bad due to a medical issue so this was not going to be an option so he had to check me out. He did not ask if I had coupons or if I needed any bags (which I did and did not get because I paid before I noticed he just chucked everything in my big basket). IN 100 DEGREE WEATHER I CAN'T LEAVE CELLOPHANE OR CANDLES IN THE CAR NOR CAN I CARRY A BASKET FULL OF CRAP WITH ME EVERYWHERE I GO UNTIL I GO HOME. Had to make a special trip home to drop off my purchase because of his lack of thought. Dude was too pressed about getting back to his phone to serve the customer correctly... shouldn't have a job!

I hate to be a stick in the mud…read more.. But this location needs help. It's SO hard to know which line is open, there's so much waiting because they ring everything up by hand and enter in codes, and while the staff is super helpful and kind, it seems like the setup is sabotaging sales. I've seen people put stuff down and leave without buying, and I almost did that but really needed the item. Please get more cashiers or update your system to something more modern to move the line faster. Bright side, super fun to just walk thru and get your steps in on a hot summer day.

I walked in and instantly fell in love with your eclectic, crowded, ever-changing-yet-never-changing soul. Enough pouring my heart out--here you can find so many unique items that you simply don't see other places. They were one of the first stores to carry Jellycats, along with so many other wonderful things. It's a wonderful place to visit around Christmas because they have so many unique decorations and home items, along with thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts for people. My daughter and I are frequent visitors, and it has become a beloved tradition that we always stop in whenever we're downtown. The ladies who work here are simply wonderful and incredibly helpful. I have nothing but praise for them and their kind, helpful ways.

The store is beautiful. Lots of souvenirs and antiques that you can find. Theres probably something for everyone you want to gift -- theres greeting cards, tea sets, animal statues, rings and necklaces, soap bars and ones dispensers, and other trinkets Normally I dont post about my dislike of being obviously followed in a store, but now it's my turn. I technically shouldnt be salty since I had always been law-abiding, but today was a very surprising one! You can tell based on my pfp that I tend to dress nicely, almost old money or New Yorker style. I was the best dressed of my crew that day, and we were still followed -- and not even in a professional way lol, the person was not slick Cant tell if they were a lady or dude but it was almost certain that they were related to the old ladies working at the store. This person tailed my friends and I wherever we went, to the point of blatantly blocking the already narrow aisles and standing behind people with their arms crossed. I go to Ross Dress for Less a lot and am used to security, of course -- but blocking paths and colliding into people is where I draw the line. And where I start posting a review Come here for trinkets and stuff. But get ready to pay for slightly expensive goods -- it's to pay for the security kid who blocks your path
