It is so rare to find a dental office that truly cares, and I can honestly say this place means more to me than just "a dentist." From the very first visit, I felt safe. Everyone here is incredibly gentle, attentive, and patient. It never feels like you're just there for a quick check and pushed out the door. They genuinely take their time with you. The dental assistants and Dr Cabrera will sit with you, talk to you, and make you feel comfortable the entire time. There is never any weird or uncomfortable energy, just warmth and care. The ladies at the front desk deserve so much appreciation, especially the one with blonde hair. They actually remember faces, remember conversations, and make you feel welcomed every single time you walk in. That means the world, because you truly don't feel like just another patient on a list, you feel like someone they genuinely care about. Because of how comforting and safe this office felt to me, they even convinced my mom to come. My mom has severe dental anxiety from years of bad experiences, to the point where the dentist terrifies her. This is the first place that made her feel so welcomed, understood, and safe that she was able to make an appointment without panicking. That alone says everything about this office. They are very one-on-one here. You never feel rushed. You never feel overlooked. You feel heard. I also had my wisdom teeth removed here, and I was shocked at how smooth the entire experience was. The Oral Surgeon was incredibly fast and gentle. The numbing shots literally felt like NOTHING, and my teeth were out in under 20 minutes. My recovery has been amazing: very little pain, no excessive bleeding, and overall such an easy healing process. They even called me the next day just to check on me and make sure I was okay. What dentist does that? It is SO hard to find a good dentist, let alone one that makes you feel like family. I am beyond grateful that I found this place. I visited CNC Dental in Pomona after not seeing a dentist for several years (about 2017). The staff took extensive X-rays and I was presented with a treatment plan that included multiple root canals (3), numerous fillings, and extraction of a front tooth. The estimated out-of-pocket cost was several thousand dollars 9-10k, 2k covered via insurance). What concerned me was not simply the treatment recommendations, but how they were communicated. Initially, I was told that my "front tooth" needed to be pulled, without clearly identifying which tooth was being discussed. For a moment, I believed one of my two central front teeth was beyond saving. Only after asking additional questions and reviewing the images myself was the situation clarified. That level of uncertainty should not occur when discussing major dental treatment. The consultation felt rushed and left me more discouraged than informed. There was little discussion about alternatives, prognosis, or whether any of the recommended treatment could be approached more conservatively. The deciding factor for me came in the days afterward. I contacted the office and requested copies of my own X-rays so I could obtain a second opinion. I was told the office could not send them directly to me and that they would only be sent to another dental office. That is a HIPAA violation if a regulator were to assess. Not good. As a patient facing significant treatment recommendations, being told I could not directly obtain my own records immediately raised serious concerns and caused me to lose confidence in the practice. I understand that every dentist may have a different treatment philosophy, and I fully support obtaining second opinions before making major decisions. After this experience, I chose to seek care elsewhere. 1 star -- Not considerate of patients' time I'm really disappointed with my experience at CNC Dental in Pomona. The front office experience was the worst part. Karla (office assistant) was rude and spoke in a way that felt dismissive instead of helpful. What bothered me most is how inconsiderate their scheduling policy is. They only give a 5-minute grace period for appointments, with zero consideration for patients who drive a long way. Traffic isn't something you can fully control, and neither are road conditions. When you've spent money on gas and time commuting, a little understanding would go a long way--but that's not what I felt here. Overall, the vibe was that they don't care about patients or the effort it takes to get there. The BEST!!!! I came here late winter 2023 while living in the area. Now moved away from the area, I drive just about 100 miles for my cleanings here and I wouldn't have it any other way! The entire staff is so amazing, Dr. Christine did such an amazing job with her practice. I love her decor, and the energy of the office. I decided to change my dentist after experiencing overcharging and misinformation. I chose CNC Dental Office based on their positive reviews and I'm very glad I did. Marissa, the office manager, is incredibly friendly and takes the time to explain costs and insurance coverage. All the dental assistants I've encountered have been kind and understanding. The dentist is also excellent--very compassionate and gentle. After my three positive appointments, I made the switch of my children to CNC. My children also had great experiences; my youngest, who has anxiety, received wonderful care from Marvin, who was attentive and allowed him to take breaks when needed. My son even asked me to leave Marvin a good review! I highly recommend their office! I rarely write reviews, but CNC Dental is one of the best places I have visited. read more

If you live in the IE OC or SGV I highly recommend this dental office. I had to have a cracked tooth pulled and bone graft done. I was beyond nervous and scared to have the procedure done. I was so anxious that I forgot to take Xanax before I left home and forgot my earbuds. There was this angel dental assistant named Melvin that seen I was going through it and he offered to let me use his earbuds. He cleaned them and gave them to me. Melvin talked to me through out the procedures he tapped my shoulder while the dentist worked as to keep my mind off my mouth and focused on the tapping. He gave me a blanket and a tooth squish mellow thing to squeeze if needed. I have had good care but never like this. Such a genuine personal experience where someone has cared for me the way I'd care for my kids. If you are nervous when going to the dentist ask for Melvin he has such a calming aura. The dentist/ oral surgeon that comes once a month was ok like he had a sense of humor at 1st but he seemed annoyed at the fact that I required another shot of numbing medication. His demeanor seemed to change. Not once did my dental assistant change, he remained kind and caring the entire time. I felt as though he took care of me the same way he his mother. The billing lady I think her name starts with an M I think Maritza but I could be wrong. She is always so personable and nice to me she explains everything and is always patient with me when I ask a million questions. The font desk lady don't know her name but she is nice too! This is my fathers first time being seen at this dental office. I brought my father to address concerns with his lower denture, which he has had for approximately 4 years but has not used due to pain and incorrect fit. He has been using older dentures instead but with lots of adhesive. I can only rave about the care , attention to detail, And the outstanding communication from the Dentist and her entire team ! To begin with I've been dealing with a bad toothache for over 3 months that turned out to be a much needed root canal and finally an extraction because of my extremely bad anxiety I was unable to see a dentist or get anything done for that matter so it got worse with an infection and an abscess. I saw a dentist in Chino Hills but we were unable to anything due to my anxiety I got as far as getting the numbing shots but once i he started i felt trapped in that chair had to tell him to stop. As the weeks went by I was looking for a dentist willing to help but no luck UNTIL I came across CNC DENTAL in Pomona, after reading some reviews and a phone call i made to them (spoke with Liz she was awesome she reassured me that i found the right place) they told me their oral surgeon would be there tomorrow which was definitely a GOD send the timing was perfect...the day finally came I was nervous and excited cuz I just wanted it the tooth out already, as we walked in we were greeted and made sure I was in good hands the process was smooth i took the sedative and started to feel relaxed within minutes did I mention Dr Casey was super chill and a jokster headed me feel comfortable as he'll and had me laughin great job Doc much appreciated I did not think anyone would be able to do what they did again I am truly blessed to have found y'all the whole team was great they actually seemed to care!
