I had a problem with my refrigerator not turning back on after it had cooled to the appropriate setting. Obviously there was a problem but I could turn it to the off position then turn it back to the recommended setting at it would turn back on. After reading the reviews, I called and schedule an appt because we all know Murphy's law and that if I waited it would officially stop working at night or on a weekend. Allen came out, listened to what the fridge was doing and immediately knew it was the "cold switch". He said he would have to order the part and it would be in within two days. Not a problem as it was still technically running. The next day Greg called to let me know the part was in and set up a time slot for that day. Allen came back and made the repair. He was such a nice gentleman, professional and friendly. Listened to the trouble shooting I had done and didn't doubt me because I was a woman. As for value, there is an $80 service call charge, however it's deducted from the cost of the repair. That's good value in my opinion. Greg and Allen with CNG Appliances helped me resolve an issue with my 91 year old mother's Whirlpool refrigerator after Jesse Costa (C&S Appliances) took advantage of her and basically stole $1,794.58 from her and never installing the parts and never fixing the refrigerator. Allen found a simple burned out wire. And Allen took photographs showing us that Jesse Costa NEVER INSTALLED any of the parts he charged my 91 year old mother. We ONLY use CNG Appliances now. Greg and Allen are the best! Here is my review of Jesse Costa and C&S Appliances (or dryer vent cleaning as he now advertises) Jesse of C&S Appliance Repair is a thief and elder abuser.  My 91 year old mom called Jess at 904 444-5379 to look at her refigerator while I was out of town.  He charged her almost a thousand dollars for "parts."  He avoided her for 2-3 months until he finally showed up.  He left and charged her another few hundred dollars...for more parts.  When I got the invoices to review, I saw he had charged her over $300 TWICE for the same parts.  I called Greg and Allen of CNG Appliances (Greg had hired and then fired Jesse)...they inspected, photographed and then repaired a burned out wire on my mom's Whirlpool refrigerator.  They said that Jesse DID NOT INSTALL any of the parts he charged my mom for except for ONE SENSOR...which did not fix the refrigerator.And did NOT add up to all the parts he allegedly ordered and charged my mom but DID NOT INSTALL.  Jesse LIED AND STOLE from my mom.  DO NOT USE HIM.  I am reporting him for Elder Abuse and theft. Called CNG and spoke with Greg. Allen, the technician, was here within 3 hours. Diagnosed the problem in a couple minutes. Parts arrived next day and were installed in less than an hour. The guy came out and did a good job replacing the valve in my washer. Unfortunately something went wrong about a month later so I called to see if it was possible if it had anything to do with the previous repair job. The man who usually picks up the phone who would not disclose his name but said he was the owner. He told me that I seemed like a guy who is just always trying to get things for free. I simply was just trying to assess all of the possible reasons for my washers problem existed. So I talked to the last person who touched it like any normal person would. I told him that he comes off like he has an attitude and He then was EXTREMELY aggressive. He hung up the phone, I called back to get his name he would not tell me then hung up again. I called again he said don't F*cking call back again and hung up. I'm sorry but that's unprofessional and anyone who would treat a paying customer like that would probably do worse like not doing a job correctly which is why I'm leaving this review. read more

I can echo Rashads experience with the manager. The tech came out and the washer didn't leak so he had us pay him $70 and said if we had issues within the month call and he would come back. He didn't even open it up to look at anything. Well later that day the washer did leak. We called him back he came back out when our nanny was there. Ran the washer and it didn't leak and he left. He was there for 5 min. We have it on our nanny cam. When my husband called to ask why he didn't take the front panel off the manager was SUPER aggressive, defensive, and unprofessional. Cussed at my husband when he asked him to refund his $70 and hung up. Fast forward two weeks i call again because the washer is still leaking. They agree to come back out then call me back saying they aren't coming out because of his disagreement with my husband, he kept interrupting and talking over me and saying he wont refund my $70 because if they come out again they're loosing money? Ended up screaming at me and blaming me for the argument with my husband saying we were horrible people and hung up on me. If I were you I'd look somewhere else. read more
