My scallops were some of the best scallops I've ever had before--so well cooked and perfectly seasoned and with these thinly sliced snap peas that were just barely blanched that added texture and freshness to the dish. It's a perfect meal to get the lunch special which comes with a salad of your choice (I recommend the Creekside salad) and a slice of pizza. The main issue is if you are a pizza snob (guilty as charged), the bakes on the pizzas are really inconsistent. They often don't use a cooling rack when the pizzas come out, so the crust instantly becomes moist from trapped steam. When the kitchen is slammed, the pizzas are flop city, and sometimes a soupy mess. If they set up quality measures to get a nice crisp crust, they could keep up with their cross-town rivals in the plaza. For now they trail on pizza quality due to inconsistency. Because of all this, I think of Creekside as more of a bar than a specialty pizza place. I enjoy it for what it is, which is pretty darn good.
