Since my earlier posts, I've taken my cars back two more times to California Coach. Rick, the head estimator, worked with me to repair and repaint the rear door and quarter panel on one car, and repaint the hood and roof on another. The work was very high in quality and I continued to be impressed. Plus they detailed the interior of the cars. Very cool. One indication of their belief in quality was that they were not happy with the first paint job, and decided to strip it down and repaint it, without me even noticing any difference. They did this at no additional cost to me. They just believe in quality work. These guys are great! read more

I started coming here after my mom brought her car to these guys after a fender bender, i had a dent along with some scratches on my hood due to some debris on the freeway. They did a really speedy repair, can't even tell the dent or scratches were ever there, also they have awesome warranty on their work!!! Todays is just another day in a week that keeps on giving. Driving down the 60fwy my car stalls out. CHP towed me to a nearby parking lot. I called AAA and they were quick to send a driver out. Chris called me and let me know he was on the way and that i could contact him with questions until he arrived. Once he got there he hooked my car up and towed me home. Keep in mind while reading this I never post reviews about anything online, and this is my first post on Yelp! First off, it is hard to come by a body shop such as this one. Professionalism is key for me and they maintained that throughout my entire experience with them. I am very keen to detail so when it comes to body work, it needs to be near OEM quality. I had been putting off getting my front and rear bumpers sprayed on my 2002 M3 because I didn't think I would find a shop I could trust. That's where I got lucky and found California Coach! Horrible customer service. I needed an urgent tow for my car. I scheduled one they came and called me. Missed the call by 1 minute. Called them back instantaneously and driver kept hanging up saying we missed the call. So he left. Called customer service and this rude lady said we needed to wait another 2 hours even though I called back within 1 minute. Horrible customer service. I would never recommend them. Update. Called to speak with a towing manager. A girl by the name of Lauren answered the phone with the most worse customers service I have ever experienced. She told me the towing manager was not there and did not even offer to help me. Based on the customer service they have I would not recommend this towing company. They give you the run around and tell you they schedule a tow truck but never show up. And when you call them to ask for a status of the tow they will tell you a tow truck is not even on their way when you have been waiting two hours for one. Tow truck driver was awesome! I just got my vehicle back from Coach Collision and they did an excellent job with the repairs and service. They even fixed an issue from a previous repair ( not done by Collision Coach) that was not part of the original repair order just because it was something they could fix easily and found that it had not been done fully correct. They did not charge for the extra repair and they returned my vehicle fully cleaned and detailed. I could not be happier with the customer service and attention to details. I took pictures right in front of your place the pictures you have are of us lifting the car to take pictures. The pictures and video I have are from your place and video all the way to the police station also with a time and date stamp. Not one sec was left. And the police station already said they would confirm that and they also took pictures. And the mayor is a witness. And as far as my registration is concerned it was paid in December which is y the police station is refunding the charges. There's survelience videos from when you picked up the car. If u didn't notice the cameras on the outside of my house when U picked it up. lol I called you guys thinking you had a shop and it wouldn't be such an issue as you guys could fix it at your shop. But you didn't. So that's fine. The car is in the shop getting fixed and my lawyer already has enough evidence. U know you guys did the damages so it's unfortunate that you just couldn't fix it. BEWARE!!!! My car was towed here by the police station which is fine but the towed my German car from behind which messed up my front bumper and put a hole in my oil pan. I drove the car directly to the police station after and they took pictures I spoke with Gary the owner and told him the problem and he said he's not liable and lied about how they towed it and said it was on a flat bed but it wasn't cause there's video surveillance of them dragging it from behind. So my car literally died on me in the middle of the freeway the other day and so I had to call a tow truck. So a different tow truck left me to a parking lot while I waited for my original tow truck to arrive. The tow truck driver is Tino and he only took less than 10 minutes to get there which was amazing since it was a really hot day to be outside. He was very kind and friendly and jammed out to really cool music while he was lifting my car and having good conversation with me in the meantime. He made my bad day into a funny less shitty day. If you ever get to have him as a tow truck driver, he will help you out and make your day less shitty! And I rarely write a review on yelp but Tino was a great tow truck driver and very helpful! read more

I was pleased with the service provided to me by Arnold from Califronia Coach Towing on 06/16/16. He arrived in less time than was initially quoted to me by AAA (quoted time was 30 min) and once he arrived he immediatly got to work. He was proffessional and polite. He addressed the issue and got me on my way. He gave me a jump start and he even measured my battery and explained that my battery was on its last legs. Once again, California Coach came to my rescue. Yesterday, I called AAA to report a dead battery. Arnold Alonso of CC came out to help me. He arrived after 20 minutes or so, after I had placed the call with AAA. AAA members can get a new battery from the road service people, which is a great idea. Unfortunately, the AAA battery I bought 2 years ago, after a dead battery service call, did not last as long as it should have. Arnold installed a brand new battery, free of charge, after his diagnostic equipment indicated the older battery was not up to par. California Coach is a great AAA contractor, and I love their great customer service. read more

This company is nasty!!!!! My son had a car accident on Jan 5, 2019 and his car was towed from 60 Freeway at Brea Canyon Road to Pomona, which is 7 miles away. They charged total $411.60. When I called them days later, the lady who spoke to me was very rude by telling me they were charging $200/hr from the time received the phone call from CHP. This is absolutely highway robbery. Shame on this nasty company!!! read more

I had a great experience with California Coach Towing. They arrived at our location super fast and knew exactly where I needed the car to be towed. My mechanic is located in the back of a business complex and not easy to find. CHRIS was also very knowledgeable and cautious. I didn't know my son's car was all wheel drive and CHRIS informed me of this. CHRIS installed additional wheels onto his rig which elevated the rear wheels so they would move more easily. For future reference I know this should be done for my son's vehicle or just make sure I order a flatbed. read more

The employee arrived in a timely manner and was able to pop open the door quickly and efficiently. So I need to preface this by saying I didn't get body work done there. Today I was driving down Valley where they are located and was tailed, given a stink eye and followed by a very reckless driver driving a brand new Chevy. He floored the car from light to light, drove very aggressively and was just an A-hole on the road. I followed him and saw him pull into California Coach and Body. I turned around to see who the driver was and it was a bald employee. Now if that is how they drive or abuse a customer's car (from how it was parked in the lot it appeared to be a customers car in for repairs), I can't imagine they take much care with cars when it counts. read more

AAA sent this company to tow my "weekend vehicle" (isn't driven much except weekends. So I know my car all around.) They sent out a driver by the name of Daniel, seemed to be in a hurry as most tow drivers are. He has me drive the vehicle up onto a oily flatbed in order to tie it down. I get the car up on the bed in order for him to tie it down. He ties it down and we make the trip to the mechanic shop. As we arrive to the shop and start to lower the car I notice that the straps and metal hooks are touching rim, and have scratched/gouged the rim where there is metal on metal contact. I let Daniel know he looks at it gets some oil off the tow bed and tries to remove the scratch/gouges. We then proceeded to lower the car, he leaves me with a business card, in order to contact the manager. So I contacted this company's tow manager (Gary) and he stated to me there is no possible way that the hooks could have scratched the wheels from the way they tie cars down. So he told me to bring the car down and that we will try and replicate the way it was tied down. So I take the car down to their location and put the car back on the flatbed. They show me how they hookup the vehicles, and it isn't even close to what I seen when off loading the car. So I proceed to show them how I seen it hooked up and stated to me once again there is no possible way. Yet the scratches/gouges on the rim match the locations of where the hooks were placed when I showed them. He told me there is no way cuz the wheel would spin, yet at a incline the manual transmission needs to be in gear and e- brake pulled. After I showed him he tells me that there is no way and didn't want to work with me. Even after I provided the proof. Very poor customer support. After 20+ years using them this is how they treat a long time customer. Never again. read more

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. These people have no class and are shady. I got into an accident nearby and the Walnut PD had my car towed there. They kept my key in order to move the car but upon trying to get my car, they told me they never had the key and that I was full of sh*t. I had not raised my voice at all and was trying to reason with them. Why would I accuse them of losing my key if they had not? They then had me talk to a "manager" but it was one big guy with some other big guys who surrounded me and started yelling at me that they had no key and started threatening me when they saw that I wrote on the release form "keys lost, not in car." What a way to treat customers... Screw these guys, go somewhere else!!! read more

THERE TOWING SERVICE IS SUPER SHADY!!!!!! I called AAA and they sent these guys out to get my from the side of the freeway. When I got in the truck, the driver said that they couldn't tow me back to Orange where I needed to go cuz there weren't other drivers available in there tow service at that point. THEN WHY DID U TAKE THE CALL!!!!!!! He then said he could drop my car off in a parking lot or bring it back to California Coach where they would be able to tow in 2 HOURS LATERRRR!!!! They were trying to get me to SERVICE my car there!!!!! SHADY CALIFORNIA COACH!!! Ok, so I had a rock chip on the hood of my 5 series fixed. I know its just a rock chip, but everytime I washed my car it really really bugged me. Got it done. Not good, I took it back and they agreed, and said they would fix it. It was fixed. Sometime later I took the car in to get serviced and was asked by the service tech if the car had major bodywork done in the past, I said no. I had the hood repainted, He says dude you have overspray everywhere. I never really bothered to look, but the inside engine well had overspray everywhere, very very piss poor prep. And even after the 2nd repair, I was not satisfied with their work. I would not return or refer anyone to return to this place for bodywork, major or minor, insurance claim or not. read more

My car was recently keyed pretty badly. Fearing the worst and not wanting to contact my insurance company, I called my local dealership and they referred me to California Coach Auto Body. Still fearing the worst in terms of money out of pocket the person who gave me the estimate really made me feel as if he understood my pain. Having your car keyed for no reason, and then having to pay to make it look the way it did yesterday is just ludicrous. But they gave me a very reasonable quote and it came out better than prior to the incident. They even took care of some of the extra scratches that I didnt think they would look at. Talking going above and beyond. We picked up our car and it was vacuumed and cleaned completely. I vow if I know anyone who needs bodywork I will definitely refer them to California Coach Auto Body. read more

I used this business services on June 22 at 9PM, and 23 3PM 2010. I called hours before to get at price, I was quoted 250 before 5 pm, I got their at 3 pm I had to pay 255. hum, Then when i got my car, I looked inside and notices that a very personal thing was missing, when I went to the office to report it, the three employees in there including the one who towed the vehicle, though it was a joke...
