DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! They have some shady deal w an even shadier atty Randy Johnson (who you should NEVER use also!!) from Vakura Law Firm. They must give a cut to the atty since he referred me. They are fraud and bunch of scammers!!!!! They will waaay over estimate your pricing! My car got a slight bump scratch on the back and they quoted my insurance and tried to get over $10k from them when my insurance only quoted $2500 and when I gave them the check of $2500 to grab my car, they refused to return my car until I paid the remaining balance of $10k etc! They still accepted the check from my insurance and refused to return my car. But said there's storage fee for another $10k! This went on for months and when I refused to pay $20k they sold my car to green co as a lien! They have a HUGE LAWSUIT coming their way. And I will be sure to report them to BBB and Attorney General as well as go on the news and report them so they dont take advantage of any more people!!! All those 5 star reviews are paid for by them and year after year they seem to be doing the exact same things to other people Last name Chang! I was in a hit and run on a Saturday and Matt who works at Coach Works went out of his way to call a tow truck over to my location and come inspect the vehicle on his day off and take it to the shop. Matt and the team at Coach works made this experience really easy for me. He took apart my vehicle and thoroughly inspected the damage and also took lots of detailed photos for the insurance company. The insurance wanted to do a very poor repair job with aftermarket OEM and used parts. The insurance refused to pay for better labor which would put me in an unsafe vehicle. Matt called my insurance and sent the estimator more detailed photos to the insurance company. The insurance company went back and forth with me. coach works made the process so much easier. The insurance company finally listened to Matt on what needed to be done with the vehicle. Matt kept in touch with me and always answered my questions. Taking my vehicle here was the right decision and lifted a weight off of my shoulders. These guys are the real deal. They will only do good work and won't settle for anything less. Do NOT use this company. They charged $7725 in storage fees, while waiting for the insurance companies to approve the claim. Both AllState and StateFarm said all estimates from CoachWorks Auto is unreasonable, and neither insurance company will pay unreasonable charges, which leaves me high and dry out of pocket $6655 to get my car out of hawk, and the accident was no even my fault! CoachWorks total bill before any repairs was $11,377 more than the vehicle was worth! read more

Horrible experience with this shop. BBB says they are no longer in business....should have looked there before allowing them to touch my car. They charged me just under $1,900 just for the estimate!! Unresponsive to texts and phone calls and tried to charge me an additional $1,350 in storage fees!! They wanted my car totaled but two additional estimates came in at half of what their "estimate" was even though the parts total on each quote was almost the same. I brought my car here after a motor vehicle accident. The car should have been totaled, but the shop decided to replace everything instead of total it. The amount of work that they did was the full amount the policy would allow. I have had nothing but problems with my car since Coach Works did their work. They would not guarantee any of their work and it has been a nightmare dealing with constant problems that pop up costing me thousands of dollars. On the recommendation of a friend, I took my Honda CRV to Coach Works for the first time for some much needed repair. The first person I talked to on the phone was Marina, the owner. She was kind, patient and asked all the right questions and then listened. I immediately felt like I could trust her and that I would be in good hands. I was able to take my car in quickly and was informed of a realistic timeline. Matt was equally as nice and easy to talk to on the phone. He explained exactly what the problem was and gave me some economic options for how to get non-urgent items done in the future. For example, "You might want to wait to get the highlights cleaned out and polished and have that done at the same time as the bodywork and that will SAVE you $$$ on labor". I really appreciated Matt telling me that. When I came to pick up my car, Matt showed me the part and where it had been leaking. The employees at Coach Works are like a family! I have to drive 30+ minutes to get there, but it was definitely worth the drive! These guys are knowledgeable and trustworthy and reasonable! read more

Took my car in a while back. Just rebuilt my engine, but couldn't get the timing down right. Asked to get my timing corrected because I have to keep revving at stop lights so that my car won't die. Was asked what my plans were for the Camaro in the future, I did mention that eventually I'll place the battery in the trunk, but the timing is what I needed done. I also asked for help with the shifter. Shifter did seem to want to shift into gears. I had a tachometer that I eventually would install my self too, but didn't need that right now. A week went by, still haven't touched my car. Two weeks, he mentioned that he's been slammed with other cars, and his father was sick so it was just him. 4 weeks went by, was told same thing. 2 months go by, and I'm told that he felt bad that it was taking so long, but he'd hook me up with a great price for the work. I was estimating 3-4 hours of work. 3 months go by and I get the call that my car is ready for pick up! I'm excited. I'm a patient guy, but I was getting a great deal, so it didn't bother me so much. When I arrived to get the car, the owner wasn't there, but his mother was in the office and wanted payment of the work before I could get keys to the car. $1300 was my bill... I wanted my car out of there. Paid the bill, got my keys, and started my newly timed car.... it started up and then died.. started it up and pulled it forward slowly, and it died. I asked owners mother about the timing, and I was told that I just have to "power brake it at lights"... ?!?!?! 3 months and $1300 later for timing, and the timing wasn't even done. Oh, but my battery was transferred to the trunk(I could have done that my self), and there was a big scratch on the top fender of my car, never there before. I should have fought the bill, and the work done. There was a "custom" bracket welded up for my kick down throttle... charged $250 for that alone.. worst weld job ever. Never take your classic car here. Not worth the hassle and poor quality. read more

If only I could give zero stars, as you can tell by the history here, do not bring your car here! The worst paint job I ever got for my vehicle and they botched it to their own admission! However they did not want to fix it and returned my vehicle with a court order, in pieces! They wanted to charge storage fees in excess of the cars value and tried to auction my vehicle with out ownership! Be very careful if you decide to have them work on your car! I am almost 50 years old, I have lived in NY, SC, CO and AZ and I have never seen such an honest, caring mechanic. Matt the main mechanic is very personable and actually cares. His mom who works in the office is a sweetheart! Matt has had the opportunity to charge me thousands of dollars more than once (and I wouldn't have known any better), however he has always been honest with me and always fixes only what is needed w/o adding other things I don't need just to pad the bill. I had been in an accident back in March. The other person's insurance company sent someone out to write up damages in the middle but didn't give us a fair quote. When we took it over to Coachworks to get work done, they immediately went through the report and noted all of the things that were done incorrectly. They took care of calling the other insurance company to get everything righted and to set me up with a rental car. They did a wonderful job of taking care of me and my car. Arizona needs more body shops like this place. Locally owned family run shop for 30 years. They do phenomenal work on any style of vehicles. My Tacoma was damaged in an accident and they fixed her up no problem. Matt is the main guy and he is willing to work with you on your estimate for repair. Arizona needs more auto collision/mechanics like Matt. He is an amazing collision repair guy, with a keen eye for perfection. Marina Radman the owner of Coach Works Auto Body is a shameless business person. She took advantage of the fact that I had no prior knowledge of the total loss claim process! I trusted her advice since she deals with the various insurance companies every day. Following her advice and going against the advice of the insurance company handling the claim, I left my vehicle on her lot even after it was deemed a total loss. Multiple times I asked her if I should move my car to a free storage lot provided by the insurance. She insisted that the insurance company was pushing me around and demanded I leave my vehicle on her lot. Since the insurance company provided me a free place to store my vehicle they charged me $600 of the $1600 she charged them taking it directly out of my total loss settlement. I begged her not to charge so much storage. I thought since she knows me personally and knows I'm a single mother of two kids she would simply issue me a check for the $600 but she refused stating "Have your lawyer call me." I don't understand how shops like hers can stay in business. During the two week process she even bragged to me about receiving a $5,200 check from an insurance company for storage. She thinks its a game but its pretty disgusting if you ask me! No wonder all of our insurance premiums are so high! Companies like hers are driving up the cost! read more

We used them years ago when my husbands car was nearly totaled and, most recently, when I ran into a metal kiosk and had damage to the side of my vehicle. The work was *impeccable* in both cases, the staff was friendly and super knowledgeable (informing me of safety equipment I didn't even know my car had), and the price was beyond fair for the quality of work we received. There are not many shop like this left anymore and that is why I have referred a ton of business to them. Unfortunately, many of the shop out there these day will fix your vehicle in the cheapest fashion possible which means that it has not been restored back to the original safety specifications, putting you and your family at risk of injury or even death! Matt at Coachworks will be sure to repair your vehicle safely and ethically. Sometimes, if your vehicle is too badly damages to be safely repaired, it will need to be totaled. If this happens, Matt and Corina will be sure to help you get a fair and adequate settlements from the insurance company.
