    Caramel latte

I have been multiple times to visit with friends. The staff has always been very friendly and the space has been clean. I usually order the caramel iced latte and I like that it comes in a glass when I am planning on staying. I have tried the pumpkin muffin and it was fresh and perfect for the fall!

Coalescence is a very nice coffee shop. I ordered a vanilla latte and a slice of lemon pound cake. Both were very good. The ambience was nice as the place is very clean. The barista was cool, warm, and friendly which is what I'm always looking for in a coffee shop. This place is good for groups too. There's an upstairs portion and a couple of sofas in the back of the coffee bar. I recommend coming on a Sunday for a quieter time, but really anytime is fine.

This is a very modern cafe that has event spaces, kids area, and a meeting room. The coffee was solid but what really stood out was the customer service. I had a great time chatting with Tony and his hospitality was fantastic. Would definitely recommend coming here to chill or do work. There aren't too many outlets so keep that in mind

So far so good for this Norfolk-based coffee company's newest location. Coffee choices are very good, very friendly staff, and a very open and airy space breathing more life into the Art District. Day one was busy and steady. The space includes a kids area and a Community Room. Probably one of the largest coffee shops in Richmond by space. Plenty of space to hang out and work. Hopefully a harbinger of things to come not only for this business but for the surrounding area.

Lovely atmosphere and great coffee, basically exactly what one needs in a coffee shop.

The seasonal Taste the Rainbow, an espresso-based beverage featuring a pomegranate-lime reduction and plum bitters, was outstanding--well-balanced, with usunsual but delicious flavors.

A respectable amount of flavor choices and most you don't see everywhere-I.e Lavender Honeycomb, Triple-berry Cobbler, and Key Lime Pie to name a few. Weren't feeling adventurous so we went with a chocolate truffle/coffee and a cookie dough/chocolate truffle-both small. Intense chocolate and truffle flavors and cookie dough was enjoyed also-delicious end to a meal and it paired nicely with the hot day. Friendly and engaged people behind the counter. Turns out Scoops is #26 on Yelps Top Ice Cream Shops list. We agree!

Food: the ice cream was very creamy and delicious! I loved the special flavors they had! And they change the flavors every now and then! So it's fun to try them all. Bathroom: there is no restroom. Price: I thought it was pretty good for the amount you get! It isn't on the cheap side, but you do get a large serving! Service: our server was very patient and nice! He gave us a few samples because I couldn't decide which flavor I liked (like any typical girl haha)

Calming spot to grab a treat, get some work done/journal, or catch up with friends in an aesthetic and modern cafe. Ordered the paradise tea with mango and avocado. I loved the textures and layers of flavors. The drink was filling and lasted me a while, not watery but refreshing. The mango tasted fresh and avocado creamy. I haven't tried the pastries at this location, but have at their other Richmond cafe. Great cakes and buns made fresh in-house. Easy to find parking at the lot outside. Service is pretty quick.

That employee also completely ignored me, despite the fact that I was clearly standing there waiting to be helped. I was there to pick up a DoorDash order for someone else, but based on the way I was treated, I can guarantee you I will not be choosing to spend my own money at this establishment. I ultimately had to ask another customer who was standing in line if they knew where to pick up a DoorDash order. The entire experience was incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. A simple acknowledgment or, at the very least, "We'll be with you in a moment" would have made a huge difference.

You can get simple ice cream, cereal infused ice cream, milkshakes, and more. I decided to go for their signature item, the cereal infused ice cream. I got a vanilla base with cheese cake bits and fruity pebbles. It was absolutely delicious. I live nearby so walked over, but there are street parking spots in front. Do know when you walk in, it might take a minute to place your order. It's a super local place and the person who runs the front is usually next door. It's more of a takeout ice cream place. There is Clay park nearby to enjoy your ice cream at. My ice cream with tip came out to about $12. It was a huge serving too. As you can see from my menu photos, there are a lot of option to pick from. So if you're more of a captain crunch person or apple jacks, you're good. I highly recommend checking this tasty ice cream out.

Be prepared because there isn't a ton of seating, only a few barstools inside and two picnic tables outside, but it's not too large of an issue. My ice cream was so good that we can back the next day!
