Fantastic company! I've been using them for almost 5 years for 4 of my pools in sd and I would use them for my other 3 pools if they serviced north county. Hands down the best company out of any of my other pool companies I use or have used in the past . Brian is extremely competent and reliable when it comes to advanced level repairs and trouble shooting. The bi weekly service from Joe and Cody leaves the pool sparkling clean and all maintenance gets taken care of without me having to remind them to clean filters, vacuum etc (like I have to do with my other pool companies). They are also fair and honest price wise and never feel like I'm getting taken advantage or ripped off (unlike other companies). Five stars for sure! I was referred to C2C by my pool cleaner, as my outdated system needed significant maintenance. New house for me, but this 20+ year old system was installed by the previous owner and had an unknown maintenance record. Brian made a quote for a replacement heater (old one was beyond serviceable, with no parts available), controller (upgrade to wifi) and pump (old one quite leaky) based on photos that were shared. But when he got to the house and began to dismantle the old system, it became clear that other parts - the actuators and filter - were also faulty. He wasn't making it up - I could easily see the troubles he pointed out. And further, the original installation was done dangerously, with wiring problems and code violations. At this point we were both frustrated of course. More money, more time. After reviewing the situation, Brian presented several options with pricing, and we took a day to think it through. In the end, he was able to properly rewire the pool controller from the main house circuit panel, and I believe the resulting charges were reasonable. At each step, Brian explained the decision to be made and possible outcomes. He was trustworthy. I didn't choose to make all of the changes that were recommended - the pool lights don't all work and won't any time soon. But I have a solid estimate of what that will take and a reliable company to go to when it is time. Do not hire this company. If there was a 0 rating I would select that. This company lacks professional skill nor common decency. They came to repair my brand new Pentair System which prior pool contractors failed to install properly. Coast2Coast left my heater off unbeknownst to me. They programmed my timer completely wrong. At my request they made 4 trips here and after every one they did something wrong. The last trip was to repair the check valve they had replaced before that later was heavily leaking because they didn't bother to replace the very old fittings as well. They cracked the fitting with the "repair". I had asked him and 3 other prior contractors before him to service my heater and apparently they would rather not, and just let it die and charge me for a new one. I had even sent him a manual from Rheem describing how to service a heater so I knew what I was talking about. My son has severe disabilities and expects to get in the jacuzzi every night and because Coast2Coast kept messing up my program and causing further repair needs it has caused me immense hardship with my son and major waste of my time. During their last visit here, after two hours here Brian had not made the repair but had removed the valve and was about to leave-I became enraged at him. He wanted to charge me $500. to fix the problem that he caused in the first place. He started video taping me and I told him to stop and leave. He would not leave. He kept going to my panel changing the settings I had by then learned how to set myself. He accused me of hitting him when I put my hand over his phone telling him to stop and leave immediately. Brian ruined all the settings and schedule I had set up. He even turned down the temp of the hot tub I only discovered this evening while my son is waiting to get in. This company has no ethics nor professional skill. Do not use this company. I realize Brian may retaliate with a very unfortunate video of me losing it. That's okay. I hope he is happy he upset me so much. read more

C2C has been servicing my pool for a little over a year and the experience has been below-average with an above-average price tag. While the weekly pool cleaning was satisfactory, their customer service is poor. They nickel and dime their customers for everything! Need a hose replaced with a batch you bought from amazon ($35), need a routine part replaced on your pool vacuum with a part you purchased ($75). I've had four pool servicing companies in the last nine years, and they've all included the replacement of routine parts in their service, as long as you had the part. Not C2C. Additionally, since buying my route from my previous servicing company a little more than a year ago, they have increased my prices twice. While they blame inflation, it seems advantageous that they increased my price again a couple of weeks before selling my route to another company (most likely to increase the price they could sell the route for). All in all, they provide below-average customer service at an above-average cost. read more

Inexperienced. There were many times my pool turned green under their care. They blamed leaves but the real problem was they use cheap liquid chlorine and the levels were rarely high enough and they rarely removed all the leaves and did a very poor job of brushing the walls. Every time they worked on the pool equipment they would break something else. One time they wanted to replace an entire valve and actuator because they stripped the screws. I bought longer screws and it was fixed. Another time they broke the automation and couldn't figure out how to fix it so they wanted to sell us a new automation system. I went into the pump settings and figured it out myself. They quit on me because I no longer wanted them to work on the pool equipment. They take 4 weeks vacation a year. I suggest to spend a little more on a more experienced and more professional organization. read more

They clean my pool weekly and never had any problems as they make it spotless every week. But today I had an issue with my pool and it wasn't turning on and with this weekend being Mother's Day weekend, I needed my pool to work. I called around 4pm knowing that it was Friday and late but thought maybe, just maybe I can get some help. And they came through. Cameron showed up around 6pm and fixed it. I contacted Coast 2 Coast Pools to evaluate the discoloration/staining on my pool walls. Brian came out, took water a sample and got back to me the same day diagnosing my problem as mineral staining, likely due to all the algaecide and chemicals that I added to the water. C2C was hired to drain and acid wash the pool. The crew was incredible, courteous, and careful of my property. The job was completed in just a few days and the pool likes like new! After 17+ years with the same pool service, I needed to look for a new company. The owner of the business we used was having health problems and was trying to pass on the service to his son; he barely did anything to maintain our pool and was here maybe 5 minutes. A friend and co-worker recommended Coast2Coast and gave me Brian's number. Brian came over 5 days later to look at my pool. We are on the boarder of their service area so he had to consult with his partners. THANKFULLY they accepted us as a client!!! Noah is our pool service person and he has been fantastic!! I am usually at work on the day our pool is serviced. I came home the other day and Noah was hosing off panels that I have never seen before and I asked him, "What are those?"; he told me they're the filters in the pump and he explained what he was doing. I was actually embarrassed how dirty the filters were. He was on the last one and it looked like mud caked on the filter. Once he was done and everything was back in order, he turned the pump on before leaving. I was so impressed how everything was running so smoothly. Prior to this cleaning, the waterfall from the Jacuzzi into the pool was "trickling" (at best) on one corner. The pool waterfall wasn't flowing all that great either and the sweeper was moving slow. The Jacuzzi waterfall is like new!!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! C2C cares about your pool. They take the time to look at everything and let you know if something needs to be done (corrected). These folks are great. Of the several companies that I contacted for a quote, Coast 2 Coast was the first one to actually get here. They sent Brian, who showed up when he said he would, and very quickly proved that he knows his stuff.
